“You can sleep on the street, we all know you belong there,” Arianna said and with that, she walked away.

Lisa stared at her looking speechless.

Guess I was wrong, she’s nothing like Hannah who is soft-hearted.

Whatever! I’m not apologizing anymore. I don’t even know why I apologized In the first place when I did nothing, she thought, and then walked out of the house, going to the swimming pool area, to chill in the pool.

Meanwhile, Jessica who had left the house is seen in a bar looking wasted when her worst nightmare suddenly approaches her.

It was no other person than Jeff.

He scoffed the moment he saw her.

“Look who’s in the bar all alone and wasted. Where is your brother, or your gigolo husband, he’s not here to save you” Jeff said and Jessica stared at her and looked away.

“I’m talking to you Jessica,” Jeff said as he frowned. He gripped her hand and she winced in pain.

“Let go of me Jeff, let me go,” she said as he pulled her up and dragged her out of the bar.

“Your brother isn’t here to save you, and neither is your gigolo husband. Go on scream, no one would come to your rescue” Jeff said as he dragged her towards his car while she kept struggling to free herself from his grip.

But then Jeff, who had gotten to his car and was about to push Jessica in the car, when he heard a voice from behind.

“Let the girl go,” a young man spoke with so much authority.

He turned and saw a strange guy standing behind him with his hands tucked in his pocket.

“And who are you to tell me to let her go” Jeff said and the guy raised his eyebrows and then smirked.

“I hate talking, just give me the girl and go your way, I want peace and no trouble,” the guy said Jeff scoffed and made to punch him but the guy dodged the punch.

Jeff was surprised by the way he dodged his punch. He tried punching him again but then he dodged it.

“Please don’t make me do what I’m about to do, I already have a rough day, just let the girl go and we are good,” the guy said Jeff frowned and tried punching him again but this time, the guy caught the punch in the air and punched Jeff on his eyes and pushed him to the side.ConTEent bel0ngs to Nôv(e)lD/rama(.)Org .

He stared at Jessica who was looking washed and moved towards her.

“Hey, Miss, are you okay?” He asked but Jessica didn’t say a word.

“Can you walk, miss?” He asked but still no response. He then carried her from the ground in a bridal style.

The moment he carried her in his arms, Jessica managed to open her eyes which were closed and then she saw a strange face.

“Who are you?” She managed to ask.

“I’m Humphery, you do not know me, I’m taking you home, ” he said and Jessica nodded and then closed her eyes.

Humphrey has been in the club watching Jessica drink herself to a stupor, although he does not know Jessica in person but he knows she’s a Colby.

He was going to take her home.

The whole family is seen sitting at the dining table including Lisa and Mellisa, while Hannah and the maid serve dinner.

“I hope Brandon didn’t prepare this?” Lucas asked and then took a spoonful of the food in his mouth and hummed.

“It’s delicious, ” he said with a shrug and continued eating. Lisa rolled her eyes as she ate her food quietly.

Lucas stared at her. He was surprised that Lisa was unusually quiet today, the Lisa he knew would have picked a fight out of nothing in this place already.

“Are you okay Lisa? ” Lucas asked and everyone stared at him.

“We have nothing together, I’m just surprised she hasn’t said anything yet,” Lucas said and everyone looked away from him and focused on their food.

“She’s a changed woman. She decided to be good. Isn’t it Lisa?” Arianna asked and Lisa sighed.

“Can we please eat in peace? I’m enjoying this food. Kudos Hannah, I must confess, you did a great job. You would have to teach me how to cook this, so I can start cooking here-” Lisa said and Lucas burst into laughter.

“Seems like you want to poison everyone in this house,” Lucas said and Lisa frowned.

“Of course, Lisa, whenever you are ready, I will teach you,” Hannah said with a smile on her face and everyone at the dining table raised their head as they stared at both Lisa and Hannah, who were looking peaceful and smiling at themselves.

“Okay, I think I’m missing something here-” Lucas said and Hannah raised her eyebrows confused, wondering what he was talking about.

“I mean you and Lisa,” Lucas said and Lisa smiled and responded.

“Oh, you didn’t know, I and Hannah are now friends,” Lisa said and Brandon almost choked on his food.

“Here,” Hannah said as she passed the glass of water to him.

“What? When the hell did you guys become friends?” Arianna asked as she turned to Hannah who smiled.

“Oh my goodness! Lisa has bewitched Hannah. This is one of her plans again” Lucas said and Hannah rolled her eyes.

“She didn’t bewitch me. I know Lisa has done a lot of bad things in the past, she’s willing to change, so I’m giving her a second chance, every human deserves it.” Hannah said with a smile and everyone went silent and didn’t say a word.

“Same way I’m going to give my father a chance. I would hear him out and hear what he has to say, not like I’m forgiving him” Hannah said and Brandon smiled.

“That’s a bold step,” Arianna said and Hannah nodded and smiled.

“Has anyone seen Aunt Jessica?” Jayden asked and then everyone stared at each other. They hadn’t seen her since morning, they wondered where she had gone.

Just then they heard a knock on the front door.
