I walked to the fridge to get a bottle of water to drink, then taking a seat at the dining and having a rethink of what the stranger discussed with me about my family.

I am still finding it so hard even to believe a word he told me, his a stranger, someone I don’t even know; what if he is trying to get money from me with this? No, I can’t fall for a trickster, not me at all.

The word ‘sister’ kept playing on my head; I exited the message and placed a call to Lisa, “Hi baby, missing me already?” She said immediately after answering the phone call.

“Yes, of cause my love; you know I miss you every second; are you with Bella right now?”

“Bella? Nah, she isn’t here with me; I thought you knew.”

“Am I missing something here?” I got eager to know more.

“Someone almost ruined her face with acid but glory to God, Brenda took the fall; they are at the hospital now; I think Kyle is there too.”

“Oh, thank you, I will place a call to Kyle now.” I ended the call and called Kyle immediately.

“Hi bro, how is Brenda?” I said on the phone.

“She is really in bad shape, but I can’t wait for Clara to get punished for it.”

“Yes, that true; she must face her crime; where is Bella? Is she there with you?”

“Nah, she left already, going home to get some things, she wants to sleep here at the hospital with Brenda, so I am waiting for her.”

“You mean Bella is not with you right now?”

“Nah, hope no..” I ended the call before he could finish the statement, rushing to my room, putting on my wears, entering my car; I speed off from the house, heading to Bella place.

I kept calling, but she wasn’t answering.

“If what the man told me is true, I surely need the police backup; it might be dangerous too.”

I placed a call to the deputy giving then Bella address.

I packed my car, running out without closing the door when I entered Bella living room; I saw strange guys and another advanced young man trying to kill Bella.

I think it’s time to use martial arts, “Hey, stay away from my sister'” I gave him a knock on his head, the others attacked me, and I tried taking them down.

“Now you both are here; I think we should kill you all.” One of them said, trying to reach for a weapon when the police came in and surrounded the whole place.

“Thank God,” I said.

“Bella, Bella.” I panicked, knowing Bella wasn’t responding to me.

“No way, I can’t lose her now I have found her already.”

The policemen called for an ambulance, but I said, “No need, I will drive her fast to the hospital myself.” They agreed, I carried her into the car, and I zoomed off.

I arrived at the hospital, rushing her in, I saw Kyle, who dashed to me, but I said, “Bella is going to be alright.”

The doctors took it from there.

Clara was busy phoning the men she hired to carry out her evil assignment, “You fools, just a simple task; you failed woefully; I don’t want to see you; I should have done it myself.” She ended the call by throwing her phone on the bed.

“Bella, why are you always escaping my wicked plans? Who is your guardian angel anyway? I promise you, Bella, the next plan, I will be taking it myself.”

A few hours later, the maid informed Bella, saying, “Miss Bella, the police are here to see you.”

“What for? Why are they here?”

“I don’t know, ma.” She replied.

“You are so dumb; get the hell out of my sight,” I yelled.

The police, I don’t even have business with them.

I stepped out of my room, heading to the living room, where the police were asked to wait.

“Officer, can I help you?”

“Miss Clara, you are under arrest for the attempted murder of Miss Bella; you have the right to behave because any attitudes you portray will be used against you in the court of law.”

I laughed so hard, “Are you here to prank me? You can’t come into my house and arrest me without proof; do you know who my parents are? I can sue you.”

“Oh Clara, I warned you, you never listen, yes we got evidence, and I promised you, hurt her again, you will end up in jail,” Kyle added, stepping inside, and she looked so dumb, she got handcuffs and taken away to the station.

Lisa was beside Bella at the hospital; she refuses to go home despite being pregnant; she doesn’t wish to leave her friend alone.

Bella finally woke up and notice she found herself in a hospital bed with pains all around her neck; she felt someone holding her hands; she got amazed seeing Lisa.

“Lisa, won’t you have body pains sleeping that way?”

Lisa heard her voice and woke up, “Oh, Best Friend, you are awake, don’t ever get me so worried next time, okay.” She hugged her.

“I won’t; where is everyone?”

“Oh Best Friend, news flash, Clara just got arrested with enough evidence she planned to kill you; I will call the guys to inform them you are awake.”

“Sure.”

Theo and Kyle got informed, “Kyle, the doctor said Bella could be discharged, take everyone to the station, those bastards called her parents who tried to kill her said they want to confess to everyone.”

“Sure, I hope they rot in jail forever.”

Theo called his mom, telling her someone almost killed her worker Bella and it’s crucial she comes with his father.

Everyone was present at the interrogation room to hear the confession; then Bella mum with others came in still with handcuff; she looked at Mr and Mrs Walcott in anger that was so obvious.

“Bella mother, I guess; why will you want to harm your child? She is so sweet and hardworking.” Mrs Walcott added.

“Oh Beatrice, you and your heartless husband can’t even remember us, oh because we are poor.” Everyone got confused, mostly Bella.

Mrs Walcott is also called Beatrice.
