Chapter 443 Apologizing Is Useless

Jerome was accusing Linda of meddling in other people's affairs, so she was shocked.

"She is a living human being. I cannot just stand by! What if she commits suicide and jumps off?" Linda

argued.

"Emily, come with me. Just ignore her." With those words, Jerome held Emily's hand. The student took

a glance at Linda and left with her head teacher obediently.

Linda deemed that something fishy was happening, but she couldn't figure out what had exactly gone

wrong. Plus, why did Emily obey Jerome's orders so easily?

Suddenly, a thought dawned on Linda.

"Ron, stop them from leaving!" Linda shouted.

Ron, one of Linda's bodyguards, strode over to the two after hearing Linda's instruction, snatched

Jerome by his arm, and stopped them.

"Ms. Xia, what are you trying to do? She is one of my students. I am responsible for her education. It

has nothing to do with you. Just mind your own business… Or else…"

Ron slapped Jerome, a strike which had knocked down his gold-framed glasses, before he could finish

his words.

"How dare you speak to Her Ladyship in that way! Think before you speak."

"Her Ladyship? Are you saying that Ms. Xia is some rich man's wife? Or mistress?" Jerome got even

more furious! "Ladyship, what kind of Lady are you? If you are truly the wife of some rich man, why are

you here teaching students?"

"I told you to think before you speak. Did you even listen to me! Can you do that? Huh?" Ron seized

Jerome by his neck and gave him a kick on his left knee. The latter action forced Jerome to kneel down

on the ground.

Feeling that his left leg was busted, Jerome begged Ron to spare him, "I'm sorry. I'm really sorry!"

"Apologizing to me is useless. You have to say that again to Her Ladyship!"

"My Lady, I'm sorry. Ms. Xia, please let me off!"

"Ron, take them to my office, " Linda said after glancing at Jerome.

Then, Ron took Jerome downstairs without difficulty. Emily was terrified at what had happened, but she

dared not speak, so she followed Linda obediently.

"Ms. Xia, I… I will not do such thing again… I just want to go home…" Emily told Linda before they

could reach the first floor.

Linda had no idea what Emily was afraid of, so she had to ask before she could find a way to help her.

"What are you doing? Are you trying to take away my student? Haven't I told you? I can take care of

this myself. Ms. Xia, please mind your own business. I am the head teacher of her class."

A sneer registered on Linda's face. She had a hunch that this whole thing was not that simple.

Otherwise, Jerome wouldn't be this anxious.

Emily, a seemingly weak and fragile school girl, was now crying with tears running down her cheeks. It

was a pitiful sight which even made Anna feel sorry for her.

Jerome, on the other hand, had his hands locked behind him and was being controlled by Ron.

Feeling that Emily would be taken away, he yelled at her from behind, "Emily, be careful with what you

say. Understand? If you have gotten into some trouble, just tell me. I will help you fix it, all right?"

Linda felt that his words were quite inconsistent. At first sight, it seemed that his intentions were for

Emily's good, yet on second thought, his words were actually a threat. What did he have to do with

this?

"Don't bother yourself with the affairs of a female student, Mr. Liu. After all, you are a male teacher, and

it is somewhat inappropriate for you to do that."
