Chapter 442 Who Is Lady Linda

The bodyguards silently climbed to the top floor and slowly approached Emily Wang. Emily was sitting

alone on the roof, her eyes looking at the noisy crowd below. She didn't notice that someone was

behind her, approaching discreetly. Emily then closed her eyes, distressed. The thoughts in her mind

began to run wild. She really wanted to jump off now.

If she jumped off the building, she would be emancipated from the agony of life. She wouldn't need to

be tortured by any of her troubles any longer.

Linda's four bodyguards almost reached Emily. But suddenly, Emily seemed to have felt something

moving behind, so she turned her head around. When she saw the four bodyguards coming close,

"Young girl, life is so precious. Please don't be impulsive, and calm down. If you're going through

difficult times, please follow us, so you could go and have a talk with Lady Linda, " said Ron.

"Who is Lady Linda?" Emily asked as she gripped the edge of the rail tightly. One of her legs was

already hanging in the air. If she loosened her grip, she would fall down instantly.

"Come to me, and follow me down. Then, you will know who Lady Linda is."

"Don't come any close! Step backward. If you move one more step forward, I'll jump now, " yelled Emily

Her movement caused an uproar among the crowd on the ground floor.

Linda looked up. The girl was already in a dangerous state. She guessed that the girl must have

noticed her bodyguards.

Linda decided to go upstairs and persuade the girl herself.

"My Lady, don't go there. You are pregnant. It's dangerous, " Anna said as she pulled Linda's arms,

stopping her from going up.

me down with her?" said Linda. She patted Anna's hands to reassure her.

Then, Linda climbed up the stairs. When Ron and the other bodyguards saw Linda, they moved aside

and greeted Linda with respect, "My Lady."

"Ms. Xia?" Emily was surprised.

"Emily Wang, why are you attempting suicide? If you have suffered any injustice, or have any difficulty,

just come down with me and tell me. I will surely help you out, " Linda persuaded her.

Emily shook her head, seemingly hurt inside, and said, "You can't help me. No one can help me. Only

death can end my pain."

"How do you know that I can't help you if you don't give me a chance? Life is full of hope. Ending your

life is never the way to solve any problem."

"Yes, it's the only way. I can't live. I want to die. It's the only thing I can do now."

Linda suddenly laughed and said, "Fine, since you are so determined, I won't stop you anymore. But I

have to tell you some common sense. If you jump off, you have to make sure that you hit your head on

the ground first, so that you can die at once. Otherwise, you will only be paralyzed. That will be much

more miserable. Understand?"

Emily didn't speak. Linda continued to say, "Aren't you scared of the horrible pains you will experience

you, go down, and disperse the crowd downstairs."

Linda was worried that the people down there would say something radical to agitate Emily again, so

she asked the bodyguards to drive them away. She could be able to persuade Emily quietly and make

Bun was still on her honeymoon with Brian and hadn't come back, yet. Linda needed Ron to protect her

walked closer to Emily. Emily seemed to have calmed down a little, and she didn't refuse Linda's

approach.

"Ms. Xia, I don't know what I should do. I just think that I should end my life to stop everything, " said

Emily.

"What problems are you facing? Please tell me. I will try my best to help you, " Linda said as she

reached out to Emily's hands. Emily's hands were trembling, and they were so cold. Linda assumed
