Your Love Is My Weapon

Chapter 430

Chapter 430

Jacob put a box on the ground and walked over to see her.

"What's wrong?" Jacob came up to see if she was hurt, but Bridget pushed him away. Jacob didn't

expect that and leaned back to the ground. After a moment of astonishment, he smiled and said, "You

are so strong. It seems you didn't get hurt."

Bridget glared at him as if she was about to devour him.

Seeing Bridget so angry, Jacob smiled, "Are you really hurt?"

Bridget ignored him and got up. Only when she raised her leg did she realize that it felt sore and

painful.

Jacob got up to help her up and sighed slightly, "Why did I have a contest with your brother? I should

have given up early."

Bridget blinked. What did this have to do with her brother?

"Jacob, what do you mean?" Bridget asked in confusion.

Jacob could still remember what Xavier looked like at that time. Every time he thought of Xavier when

he said that Bridget couldn't dance, he would have a stomachache.

"You don't know anything about men. You don't need to learn dancing tomorrow. Just give up." Jacob

helped her sit on the sofa.

Bridget was angry this time because she felt that Jacob looked down on her.

It was just dancing!

She used to run five kilometers with a heavy load during military training. She could survive in that

training.

Why couldn't she learn to dance?

"Why should I give up? I've paid my tuition." Bridget raised her head, determined not to admit defeat.

Jacob didn't know what to say.

"Which part do you hurt? Let me see." Jacob was more concerned about her injury.

Bridget just wanted to say that her back ached when she paused.

But she think this part was sensitive.

She gasped and didn't say anything. When she saw Jacob's box at the door, she took the opportunity

to change the subject and asked, "What did you bring back?"

Jacob turned around and remembered what he had bought, saying "You can tell by looking at it."

Jacob walked over, picked up the box, and put it in front of Bridget. "Open it and take a look."

Bridget was slightly stunned. Was this for her?

Jacob squatted in front of her. He looked a little expectant and said again, "Open it and take a look."

Bridget pointed to herself and asked, "For me?"

Jacob nodded several times.

Bridget was a little surprised that Jacob would buy something for her. She muttered to herself and

reached out to open the box.

When the box was opened, there was an iron cage inside. Bridget could not see what kind of animal it

was. It was a living thing anyway.

She looked up at Jacob and said, "What is this?"

"You'll know when you take it out."

Bridget reached out and took out the cage. Inside was a little brown Teddy dog. It was covered in

brown curly hair. Its eyes were big, and its head was round. It was extremely cute.

"Wow, so cute." Bridget took it out of the cage and put it in her arms. It was so fluffy that she was in a

good mood to strike it.

"Like it?" Jacob looked at her.

Bridget looked at Jacob squatting on the ground and suddenly laughed.

Somehow, she connected Teddy in her arms to him.

Jacob frowned. Although he didn't know what she was thinking, her expression told him that she was

thinking something funny.

He stood up with a serious face, saying, "Have you eaten yet?"

Bridget stopped but wanted to laugh again. Finally, she held back and shook her head.

"I'll make it for you." Jacob took off his coat and threw it on the sofa, walking towards the kitchen.

Bridget nestled on the sofa, teasing little Teddy in her arms. She seemed to think of something, looking

at Jacob's back and asking, "What's its name?"

"It doesn't have a name. You can call it whatever you like." Jacob did not look back and focused on Content provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

finding ingredients in the fridge.

Bridget fiddled with its head and muttered, "What should I call you?"

Suddenly, an idea occurred to her and she said, "What about Sugar? You are so small and so cute, like

a sugar baby."

Jacob looked back at her and did not comment on the name.

When Jacob was cooking, Bridget felt bored and turned on the TV.

Her eyes were fixed on the screen, but her hands were still playing with the puppy in her arms.

After nearly an hour, Jacob walked over and said, "Have dinner."

Bridget put down the puppy and let it run on the ground.

When she got up from the sofa, her back was still sore. She walked towards the dining room with her

hands on her waist. Jacob's eyes were fixed on her hands holding her waist. He suddenly realized that

her back was hurt.

He helped her walk to the table. Bridget sat down on the chair and looked at the dishes on the table.

Apart from the rice that looked good, Bridget didn't even have an appetite for those dishes.

Jacob looked at her and explained, "It's my first time cooking. They are already very good. They don't

look good but you can definitely eat them."

Bridget picked up her chopsticks and said with a frown. "Are they poisonous?"

As she spoke, she picked up a chopstick of fried eggs with tomatoes and put it in her mouth.

It tasted...

Bridget spat it out and stared at Jacob, questioning him, "Did you put vinegar in the stir-fried eggs?"

Jacob shook his head and answered, "I just poured a little light soy sauce, not vinegar."

Bridget pushed the dish to him and said, "Try it yourself."

Jacob picked up his chopsticks and put it in his mouth. He frowned. Did he take the wrong bottle?

Bridget put down her chopsticks and couldn't eat at all. She couldn't cook, but at least she could eat.

But what about this?

"Jacob, you did all these dishes for the dog?"

Jacob glared at her and picked up two other dishes. One tasted very salty and the other was raw.

They were really inedible.

"Let's go out and eat." Jacob stood up. If he had known, he wouldn't have cooked himself. He didn't

have that talent at all.

Bridget sat still and said, "What about these dishes?"

Jacob looked at her as if seeing a silly girl. "Of course, dump them, or you won't eat them."

Bridget snorted and added, "I'll eat them if they are edible. But how can I eat these dishes?"

"If you don't want to eat them, feed them to the dog." Jacob rebuked her.

Their quarrel seemed endless. He wanted to cook for her. But she didn't appreciate him and even kept

blaming him. He was pissed off and didn't want to tolerate her anymore.

Not only was Bridget not angry, but she smiled. "Good idea, otherwise how wasteful it is."

Before Jacob could react, she held her waist and went to the living room to carry Sugar.

Jacob glared at her and didn't say anything in the end.

Jacob cooked for her for the first time. But she fed the dishes to the dog. Then he took Bridget to a

restaurant.

Bridget's back hurt. Jacob took her coat and helped her put it on.

Bridget was a little embarrassed and wanted to wear it herself. Jacob didn't give her the clothes but

looked up and down at her.

"You. What are you looking at?"

Jacob smiled and said, "I have no interest in taking advantage of you. You don't have big boobs or a

good figure. By the way, your waist is slender. But now your back hurts. Why would I take advantage of

you by putting on clothes for you?"
