Chapter 403
Chapter 403
Mr. Jones shook his head, "I don't know her either."
"Then why is she at our door?" Ryan tilted his head.
Mr. Jones held Ryan's hand, "Let's go over and ask."
Seeing Mr. Jones and Ryan coming over, Janet hesitated a moment and didn't know how to call them.
"Who are you?" Mr. Jones asked.
"I'm here to look for Mrs. Jones." Janet held the baby tightly in her arms.
"Looking for my mommy?" Ryan frowned. Why hadn't he seen this woman before?
Janet nodded, "Yes."
"I'll go get her." Ryan let go of Mr. Jones's hand and ran into the house.
Mr. Jones didn't let her in. He felt very strange. She came to Arya with a child in her arms. What was
her identity?
An idea flashed by, and Mr. Jones immediately shook his head to deny it. It must have nothing to do
with Xavier.
He didn't go back to his family and got angry with them because of Arya.
He wouldn't fool around with other women. Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!
Not to mention having a child.
Soon, Ryan pulled Arya out, "Look, an aunt here said she was looking for you."
Janet heard the voice and looked at them.
Seeing Janet's face, Arya was surprised, "Janet."
Janet hesitated, "I'm sorry to bother you."
"It's okay. Is there something wrong?" Arya walked towards her and looked at the baby in her arms. "Is
this Jasper's child?"
Janet nodded, "It's a boy."
Arya reached out, "Can I hug him? "
Janet handed the child to her, "Can I have a word with you?"
Arya said, "Okay, come in with me. Our backyard is very quiet."
Janet followed Arya into the house. Arya walked in front of her and led the way. In the living room,
Daisy saw Arya bring in a woman and asked, "Who is this?"
Arya introduced her in brief, "She is my friend."
"If you haven't eaten breakfast, you can have it here."
"Thank you. I've already eaten."
Janet said.
"Then you can go in."
Janet nodded politely at Daisy before following Arya to the backyard.
Arya sat on the stone stool and looked at the child in her arms. He had not grown up yet and she could
not recognize who he looked like.
Arya let her sit down, "Go ahead."
Janet pursed her lips and struggled for a moment, "May I ask you to raise the child?"
Arya looked up at her. Janet asked her to raise the child?
She was a mother and understood the importance of a child to a mother. Why did she give the baby to
her?
"Do you have any difficulties?" This was the only question that Arya had ever thought of asking. If
everything was fine, she would not ask anyone else to raise her child.
Janet shook her head. Jacob helped to solve her family's problems and found her brother a good job.
The family was now living a normal life.
"I have known a man. We're going to get married. He doesn't mind that I have given birth to a child, but
he doesn't want me to take the baby with me..."
Janet lowered her head, "I didn't love Jasper. This child was born by accident..."
Arya looked at the baby in her arms. He was really little.
"You and Jasper are friends after all, so I thought of you..." Janet bit her lip.
Arya looked at her, "If you think it through, I can raise him."
She could not comment on whether Janet was right or wrong. Everyone had their own thoughts, and as
long as she thought it through herself, it would be fine.
"Thank you."
"That's all right. As you said, I am a friend of Jasper's. I will raise this child as my own. Whatever Ryan
and Ramona have, I will give it to him as well."
"I haven't given him a name yet. You can give him a name, but the surname still has to be Clinton. After
all, he is Jasper's son."
"Of course." He was Jasper's child and his surname should be Clinton.
Even if Janet didn't say that, she would do the same.
Janet took out a card from her bag and put it on the stone table, "There is not much money, but please
take it."
Arya pushed the card back. "You should keep it yourself. You can rest assured that I will take good care
of him. I won't treat him badly."
Arya knew about Janet's family conditions. She probably didn't have any savings. "You also need
money to live your life."
"I believe you, or I won't come to you, but you still have to take the money as the last thing I can do for
this child." Janet insisted.
Arya took it, "Okay."
"If you have any difficulties with money in the future, you can come to me." Arya remembered Janet's
help.
Janet pursed her lips and did not say a word. She already asked Arya to raise the child. How could she
bother her anymore or ask for her money?
Janet reached out to Arya, "Let me hug the baby once more."
Arya handed it to her, "Come anytime when you want to see him."
Janet kissed his little hand, with tears rolling in her eyes. "No, it's not good to let him know it."
When she sent him there, Janet had made up her mind. She wouldn't come to see him in the future.
This would be his home. With Arya's personality and character, Janet believed that she would not treat
him badly.
Janet handed the child to Arya, "Then it's your turn to raise him. He's your child. You're his mother. He
has nothing to do with me."
After that, Janet covered her lips and ran out.
Arya sighed deeply.
She shouted at her back, "Don't worry. I'll take care of him and raise him."
Bridget heard from Daisy that there was someone at home. As soon as she reached the backyard, she
bumped into Janet who ran out crying.
She was quite confused. What happened?
Bridget walked over and was even more puzzled to see that Arya was still holding a child in her arms.
"Whose child is this?"
Arya didn't look up and was thinking about how to tell her about it.
Bridget sat down and looked at the child in Arya's arms. "Did that woman just send him over?"
Arya nodded.
"Sister-in-law, why do I think you don't want to tell me?"
Arya looked up at Bridget and sighed, "She was Jasper's bride-to-be..."
Arya didn't say the rest of the sentence, but Bridget guessed it.
She knew what she wanted to say.
"This child is Jasper's, right?" She was very sure.
Arya nodded.
"She asked you to raise the child?" Bridget smiled with disdain. The wife he was going to marry was
even unwilling to raise his son. What was Jasper's purpose in marrying her?
Arya took a deep breath.
"She didn't have any feelings for Jasper. She's still very young and should have a life of her own."
Arya could tell that Bridget was still a little upset about Jasper.
Hearing Arya said that, Bridget felt much better. She reached out to touch the baby's face. The baby's
skin was tender and smooth. "What's his name?"
