Chapter 1340 Do Not Kick Mommy

Chapter 1340 Do Not Kick Mommy

Benjamin entered the children's bedroom and walked toward the direction of their raucous laughter sounding from the bathroom.

“Hurry up with your shower. Stop messing around!”

At the sudden sound of his voice, the children instinctively covered their bottoms with both hands. Their eyes grew wide as they stared at Benjamin, who had appeared at the door.

When he witnessed the children's panic, the corner of Benjamin's mouth twitched. “Do you need me to help you wash up?” he asked calmly.

The children shook their heads frantically. “We can manage on our own!”

“Wash yourselves thoroughly!” Benjamin instructed the children before turning around and walking away.

“What a fright that sneak attack gave me!” Jesse complained, eyeing the door as she hurriedly rinsed the foam off her body.

“Who was the last one to come in? Couldn't you have shut the bathroom door?” Zachary looked around at his siblings; he was the first one to enter.

Gavin glanced at them, then jogged over to close the bathroom door before returning to resume his shower.

“It was Jesse!” Jasper said loudly. The little girl was further in, taking a bath in the tub while the other

five were taking a shower outside.

Upon hearing her name, Jesse quickly retorted, “I think it was you. When I came in, you went out to get your clothes!”

Jasper was left speechless.

Oliver burst into laughter. “I can testify to that!”

“What are you testifying to? Did you even see who it was?” Jasper glared at Oliver irritably; without his glasses, Oliver was practically blind.

Oliver smacked him, and Jasper buckled. He massaged his head where he had been struck.

“A true gentleman uses his words, not his fists!”

A roguish smile tugged at the corner of Oliver's lips. “So what if I'm not a gentleman?”

Jasper's face darkened. “Liar! Brute!” he muttered under his breath.

Tim watched them bicker, his eyes crinkling with amusement. “Stop messing around, you two,” he said, chuckling. “Hurry up and get cleaned up. Mommy is waiting for us!”

“Hurry up, hurry up!” Gavin urged the rest while quickening his own pace.

“Can you manage on your own, Jesse?” Gavin called out toward the bath.

“I can, Gavin!” Splashing about, Jesse wiped herself down with a towel.

After they were clean and dressed, they emerged to find Benjamin still in their room, which left them momentarily stunned.

“Why are you still here, Daddy? Do you have something to tell us?” Gavin looked at Benjamin, a little puzzled.

Benjamin glanced at them.

Noticing they were all clean, he instructed, “Go, spend some time with Mommy and keep an eye on her. Don't let her get out of bed and walk about. If she needs to use the bathroom, just call for me.”

The six children nodded and ran toward the door, shouting, “Got it!”

With a smile, Benjamin followed behind them. I'd better ask Arissa if she needs to use the restroom.

“Mommy! We're done showering. Aren't we quick?”

The children, smelling sweetly of soap, climbed onto the bed and snuggled into Arissa's embrace.

Arissa held them close, deeply inhaling the sweet, milky scent of the children. “You were quick!” she agreed.

“Hehe!”

The children were overjoyed. They loved snuggling against her.

Benjamin entered the room and surveyed all seven of them—mother and children. Then, he turned to Arissa. “Do you need to use the restroom?”

Feeling slightly amused, Arissa responded with a smile, “I do, actually!”

Benjamin stepped forward, bent over to pick her up, and carried her to the bathroom. In the meantime, the six children frolicked on the big bed.

The couple emerged to find the children sprawled about haphazardly. Their carefree demeanor brought an involuntary smile to Arissa's lips.

“Lie down properly, you little rascals. Make some space for your mother,” Benjamin said, his face stern as he admonished the children. Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.

The children quickly scurried aside, making room for Arissa.

Benjamin gently set Arissa down, then turned to the children. “Be careful, all of you. Don't bump into or kick Mommy!”

“Got it!” The six children nodded obediently, not daring to object.

Benjamin glanced at them, then said goodbye to Arissa before turning around to leave.
