He glanced at Sebastian and called out, "Sebastian."

Sebastian inquired, "What are your plans?"

Lucas smirked. "Leigh once said that the most excruciating way to torment someone is to make them lose the thing they least want to lose."

Sebastian raised an eyebrow. "Have you decided?"

"Yes," Lucas said disdainfully, "Doesn’t the Griffin Family want an heir to carry on their lineage, right? Since the Hart Family doesn't need me to continue the family line, it doesn't matter to me whether my son's last name is Hart or Griffin."

"Once you've decided, whatever is fine. No matter what it is, I will support you," Sebastian affirmed

"Exactly!" Kieran patted Lucas' shoulder. "Do whatever you want. We will be your strongest support!"

Grayson remained silent but nodded firmly.

"Alright, I understand." Lucas smiled at them and took out his phone, dialing Mario's number. "I want to see you. Or rather, more precisely, I want to see everyone in the Griffin Family."

At that time, Mario was still awake. He felt excited and surprised when he unexpectedly received a call from his son. However, soon, he sensed something was amiss from Lucas' voice. "Lucas, what's

wrong? What happened?"

"I want to see everyone in the Griffin Family," Lucas repeated. "You, your father, your wife, and your daughters!"

Mario was puzzled. "Now?"

Lucas nodded. "Yes, now."

"Lucas, what's going on?" Mario felt that something was seriously wrong.

"You'll know when we meet," Lucas said calmly. "Since your Griffin Family has requested me for help, you must show some sincerity. If you can't handle such a small matter, I can pretend I haven't heard anything you said before."

"Lucas?" Mario said excitedly, "Are you saying..."

"Half an hour," Lucas interrupted. "I hope half an hour from now, I can see your sincerity at the Griffin Residence."

Lucas hung up the phone before Mario could say anything else.

Sebastian said, "I'll have Quinton take you there with some guards."

Lucas shook his head. "No need, Sebastian. I have enough guards with me."

"It's always good to be prepared," Sebastian teased with a sly smile playing on his lips. "Martha has many daughters. What will you do if she sacrifices another one and brings you down?"

"Sebastian is right," Grayson agreed. "A wise man does not stand under a crumbling wall."

Kieran added, "How about I go with you?"

"No need." Lucas shook his head. "It's getting late. You guys rest. The Griffin Family is not worth your effort."

"That's the spirit!" Kieran patted his shoulder. "No wonder you're my brother."

Lucas couldn't help but raise an eyebrow, unsure if he was being praised or Kieran was praising himself.

Then, he put away his phone. "I'll go get ready."

Sebastian nodded as he secretly sent a text message to Quinton.

When Lucas left the living room, he met Quinton, who hurried over. "Young Master Lucas, Weylam and I will accompany you to the Griffin Family."

Lucas knew he couldn't refuse, so he simply nodded.

He changed his clothes and, accompanied by Quinton, Weylam, and his bodyguards, headed to the Griffin Family.

At the Griffin Residence, the living room was brightly lit.

Old Mr. Griffin, Mario, Martha, Cynthia, Jordan, Charlie, and Quinn - all Griffin family members were present, not one missing.

Cynthia sat beside Martha, barely suppressing her inner restlessness and impatience, and asked in a low voice, "Mom, what's wrong with Grandpa and Dad? It's late at night, and they're not resting properly. They're making us sit here so uncomfortably."

"I don't know," Martha warned her with a glance and whispered back, "Behave yourself. Don't throw a tantrum and show your spoiled princess temper before your grandfather and father!"

Cynthia pursed her lips and stopped talking.

They sat idly in the living room for more than ten minutes. With a jubilant expression, the butler came in and reported to Old Mr. Griffin, "Young Master has returned!"

Martha and her four daughters all stood up abruptly.

Martha's face turned pale as she shouted, "Young Master? What Young Master? There is no Young Master in our Griffin Family!"

Lucas stepped in just as she uttered those words.

Mario quickly said, "Of course, the Griffin Family has a Young Master! Lucas is the Young Master of our Griffin Family!"

"Yes!" Old Mr. Griffin also stood up and declared loudly, "Lucas is the Young Master of our Griffin Family!"

Martha was so enraged that her face turned green, her fingers trembling. "Don't forget, his last name is Hart, not Griffin!"

Mario looked at her coldly. "No matter his last name, he is my flesh and blood, my own son."

"Yes!" Old Mr. Griffin agreed, "No matter what surname Lucas has, his veins carry the blood of the Griffins!"

"Are you all gone insane?" Martha's voice quivered angrily, "Have you forgotten that he is an illegitimate child? Is the Griffin Family willing to acknowledge a b*stard as the Young Master? Are you willing to tarnish the century-old reputation of the Griffin Family?"

"Lucas is not an illegitimate child!" Before Mario could speak, Old Mr. Griffin said, "Years ago, Mario and Lucas' mother obtained a marriage certificate. I thought Lucas' mother came from a poor background and was unsuitable for the Griffin Family, so I forcefully separated them. Lucas is a legitimate child, not an illegitimate one!"

"You..."

You're talking bullsh*t!

Martha almost blurted out but swallowed her words with resentment when she thought of Old Mr. Griffin's status.

"Dad, you're deceiving yourself! Anyone who knows our family knows that Lucas is an illegitimate child. Your lies can only deceive yourself, not others!"

"I haven't deceived anyone," Old Mr. Griffin remained calm without changing his expression. "This is the truth. Mario and Lucas' mother did have a marriage certificate."

However, that marriage certificate was fake.

Due to his interference, his son couldn't obtain a marriage certificate with Lucas' mother. Mario feared she would be disappointed and leave him, so he devised a devious plan and created a fake marriage certificate.

It was a forgery back then, but now, Old Mr. Griffin wanted to turn it into reality.

Regardless of what others said, as long as he firmly asserted that his son and Lucas' mother had obtained a valid marriage certificate, what could others say?

Lucas was their esteemed Griffin Family's legitimate child, the rightful heir!

Martha trembled with rage, her face ashen, her lips quivering, "Dad, you... you..."

She was so furious that her mind went blank, and she didn't know what else to say.

That old man had lost his sanity!

Indeed, Old Mr. Griffin had lost his sanity long ago.

Initially, he could have had a tall, handsome, talented, capable, and resourceful heir, but he had pushed him away with his own hands. Now, with one foot in the grave, he still didn't even have a grandson.

He couldn't count how many people had mocked their Griffin Family's 'Five Golden Flowers' and their lack of a grandson.

It was just because he didn't have a grandson; thus, he had spent half his life unable to hold his head high in front of others.

He had had enough.

He would never rest in peace if he didn't have a grandson to send him off in this lifetime!
