"I know both of them," Leigh said proudly. "The person next to Christian is Derek Young. He is one of the four hunks in the entertainment industry, along with Kieran, Christian, and Cody Bolton. Three of them are here for Lucas' birthday, which is quite impressive."

Madeline didn't know what to say.

Whatever rocks your boat, I guess.

"Something's weird, though!" Leigh wondered aloud.

Madeline asked, "What's wrong?"

"There are rumors that Derek and Christian are not on good terms." Leigh put her arm around Madeline's shoulder and gossiped. "Derek and Christian rose to fame together. They starred in a TV drama as the two male leads, and it was a huge hit. They both became sensations overnight.

"At first, everyone knew they were good friends with a deep bond, but later on, fans from both sides started fighting. They would go against each other, so Derek and Christian started hanging out less— no, they stopped interacting altogether!

"Following that, Derek starred in another drama that boosted his popularity, whereas Christian's declined. Derek's fans started mocking Christian, saying that he was not as talented as their idol and was just a loser," explained Leigh.

"Christian? A loser?" asked Madeline.

"Yeah," Leigh said. "That's how Derek's fans mocked Christian, calling him a nobody and saying he wasn't as capable as their idol."

"Do they have any idea who Christian is?" Madeline was confused.

"Who is he?" Leigh asked in response.

Madeline was speechless.

Ah, it seems like Leigh has no clue either.

Madeline explained, "There are top ten aristocratic families in Dusktown, and the Baller Family is one of them. Christian is the young master of the Baller Family, and his older brother, Bruno Baller, is a very powerful figure who dotes on Christian. Even if Christian is considered a loser in the entertainment industry, no one has the right to say that he is a failure, right?"

"Whoa…" Leigh clapped lightly. "This is interesting! Obviously, people in the entertainment industry don't know about Christian's identity as the young master of the Baller Family... If I sell this information, do you think I'd be able to make a fortune?"

Madeline retorted, "If people in the entertainment industry have no clue about Christian's identity and you sell this information, aren't you afraid that Bruno will come after you? Besides, I'm not the only person who knows this information. If the media hasn't reported on it at all, they probably have some sort of agreement with the Baller Family. Even if you go around selling this information, no one would dare to buy it."

"Oh, I see!" Leigh sighed regretfully. "What a pity."

Madeline said, "Well, if you are short on cash, you can just tell me. I'll give it to you, so don't do anything stupid!"

"Who needs the money?" Leigh arrogantly raised her chin. "I'd be the last person who needs it! I love watching the drama unfold and sharing it with others!"

She shook her head and clicked her tongue. "I'm curious to see how those sarcastic haters who mocked Christian would react after knowing that he's the young master of the Baller Family."

Madeline said, "Who knows, they might still mock Christian. Even if he is the young master of the Baller Family, his status in the entertainment industry cannot change the fact that he's less popular."

"Nonsense!" Leigh retorted. "Christian isn't a loser! He's one of the top four celebrities, and he's only the lesser-known idol among the four of them. Derek's fans mock Christian for being friends with Derek, saying that Christian wants to upstage him. Ugh, haters are the worst. They're insane."

Madeline said, "Tone it down, will you? You're such a fangirl."

Leigh craned her neck and asked, "Do you have a grudge against fangirls?"

Madeline shook her head. "Not really."

Leigh said, "So be it, then."

Madeline had no comeback for that.

"There's something else, Madeline!" Leigh held her arm and glanced at Christian and Derek, who were chatting with Sebastian, Lucas, and their group of friends. "Rumors have it that Derek and Christian don't get along! They are just pretending to be close for the sake of publicity after their TV drama. The fans love it. In reality, they are competitors, secretly fighting against each other. Look at them, though..."

Leigh pointed her chin toward Derek and Christian. "Do they look like they're pretending?"

Madeline observed for a moment and shook her head. "No, they don't. They have no reason to pretend in front of us. Besides, I heard that the young master of the Baller Family is very willful. If he doesn't like someone, he won't even bother looking at them. He wouldn't lower himself to flatter Derek."

"Exactly!" Leigh rubbed her chin. "Madeline, can I borrow Emory for a moment?"

Madeline asked, "What for?"

Leigh answered, "I want him to get me a Polaroid so that I can capture them standing together, then have them autograph it as a token."

"Get out of here!" Madeline barked.

"I'm serious!" Leigh said. "If you won't do it, I'll ask him myself!"

She made a phone call and got Emory to meet them. "Emory, could you help me get a Polaroid?"

Madeline shoved her playfully and said, "Don't mind her, Emory. She's always acting up."

"It's okay," said Emory with a smile. "I don't have to get it myself. I'll get someone to buy it. It's not a big deal."

"Whoa!" Leigh exclaimed. "As expected of Sebastian's grandeur. Even his subordinates are so generous. Take a leaf out of his book, won't you?"

Madeline didn't know how to respond.

Emory smiled, turned around, and went to get someone to buy a Polaroid for Leigh.

Just then, a group of people exchanged pleasantries and walked toward Madeline and Leigh.

The two women stood up.

Lucas smiled and introduced Derek and Christian, saying, "This is my sister-in-law, Madeline, the young lady from the Wendel Family. Meanwhile, this is my sister-in-law's best friend and my eldest brother's private doctor, Dr. Leigh."

He looked at Derek and Christian playfully and added, "Dr. Leigh is highly skilled in medicine. If you ever have any secrets that are hard to share, you can trust Dr. Leigh. She can cure any ailment, and I might even be able to get you a discount."

Derek and Christian kept silent, whereas Lucas chuckled. "The internet doesn't always tell the truth."

"That's right." Leigh looked at him and said, "The internet claims you're a wealthy playboy, but in reality, you come from a humble background. It's quite pitiful to see."

Lucas was rendered speechless.

Lucas walked over to Leigh, looking at her with a somewhat helpless gaze. "Sometimes, I wonder why you're so interested in gossip, yet your medical skills are exceptional. Shouldn't you be more like Grayson, working diligently and putting your all into it?"

"Well, there's nothing I can do about it," Leigh said, putting her arm around Madeline's shoulder. "Just like how Madeline's natural beauty cannot be ignored, I possess incredible talent, bestowed upon me by the heavens—unlike Young Master Grayson, who lacks intelligence."
