Speechless, Grayson thought, Are they all mind readers? Why can they guess what I'm thinking?

Still, despite having such thoughts in mind, he dared not voice them out loud.

Subconsciously, he looked to Sebastian.

Growing up, Sebastian had always helped him solve problems he couldn't handle.

As a result, he had gotten used to seeking Sebastian's advice whenever he encountered a difficult situation.

The corner of Sebastian's mouth raised slightly when he saw Grayson looking at him. "What do you think?"

Instead of replying to him immediately, Grayson got lost in his train of thought. It doesn't matter what I think. What matters is what Sebastian has in mind. After all, my opinions don't count.

Suppressing the deep thoughts in his mind, he conscientiously said, "I will listen to your advice."

With that, Sebastian expressed his view. "In that case, you shall handle this matter formally."

Powerless, Grayson uttered through his teeth, "Anything you say, Sebastian." No matter what, I can't go against Sebastian. In addition, with his capabilities, this matter will eventually get dealt with formally, even if I disagree. He will surely kick my *ss if I say something that doesn't align with his will. In that case, why should I invite trouble for myself?

Leigh looked at Sebastian and then at Grayson. Her eyes flickered as she said to Grayson, "There's one more thing…"

Like a shot, Grayson looked at her.

"You're simply the reason Katy suffered from such an undeserved accident and endured so much pain," Leigh stated. "You owe her an apology, so starting today, you have to come to the hospital every day to accompany her until she recovers."

Grayson paused for a few seconds before turning her proposal down. "I still have to work. I can hire the best doctors and nurses to provide 20-hour care for Miss Owen."

"If that's the case, we can do it ourselves too." Leigh looked askance at him. "What's the matter? Do you think we're so poor that we can't afford doctors and nurses?"

Grayson was dumbfounded. Why is this woman behaving as though she has blown a fuse?! D*mn! Such harsh words!

Nonetheless, even if he did intend to retort, he couldn't bring himself to say anything when the thought of Leigh might be his future sister-in-law crossed his mind. I can't afford to offend her. Besides, it's humiliating when others find out I, as an elder brother, argue with my younger brother's future wife. Furthermore, how will I face Lucas if he finds out?

While he was unable to get a word out of his mouth, Leigh went on with her unfinished sentences. "Having you take care of Katy is giving you a chance to convey your apology and sincerity. What's the point of you hiring doctors and nurses? With your wealth, hiring several doctors and nurses is pretty

much the same as tossing coins at beggars. Mr. Grayson, are you implying that we are beggars?"

Grayson silently vented. Can she not put such heavy blame on me? Sure enough, I know very well the 'we' she mentions. Madeline, her, and Leah, whom Lucas often talks about. Madeline and Leigh plan to hook Leah up with Anthony, but since Anthony has been out of town for work, they have yet to seize a good opportunity. I'm sure they will arrange a blind date for Leah and Anthony once they find a chance. In other words, Leah is one of the candidates to become Anthony's future wife. There are four of them, and out of the four, three are related to my brothers. Judging from this, I can guarantee my life will never be at peace if I offend them all at once.

Considering he had never been so worried all his life, he explained with exceptional sincerity, "Dr. Shefford, that's not what I meant. I just think that a young lady like Miss Owen and a young man like me shouldn't spend time alone in a room together to avoid arousing suspicion."

"Avoid suspicion? What kind of suspicion?" Leigh raised an eyebrow and questioned him, "Do you have a girlfriend?"

Grayson hesitated for a moment and then shook his head. "No, I don't."

"Katy doesn't have a boyfriend either," Leigh added. "You're both single, so what suspicion is there?"

After a momentary pause, Grayson elaborated, "Even if we are single, a bachelor and a young maiden should still avoid doing any activities that may arouse suspicion to prevent gossip."

"It's fine. We're not afraid." Leigh shut him down. "Katy is a victim. Plus, she's a girl. She isn't afraid of gossip, so don't you use the fear of gossip as an excuse to avoid taking care of her!"

At this point, Grayson was completely at a loss for words.

He looked at Sebastian, feeling both speechless and helpless.

As for Sebastian, he had to exert a lot of effort just to suppress his excessively rising smile after seeing Grayson getting chewed out by Leigh to the point of being voiceless.

Grayson became even more speechless when he noticed this. Sebastian, don't think I can't see that you're laughing! Should I take a moment to reflect on why you're so happy about me getting bullied? Oh, I can feel my heart is on the verge of breaking!

"Alright then. It's settled. You shall be responsible for taking care of Caitlin until she recovers," Sebastian said after suppressing his smile.

Grayson didn't object, not that he could anyway. Fine! Since Sebastian has made the final decision, this simply means that there is no room for negotiation regarding this matter.

Even though he accepted his fate, there was still something bothering him. "Then, what about my job?"

Upon hearing that, Sebastian glanced at him. "If your hospital can't operate as usual while you're gone for a while, I suggest you may as well close it down now and cease its operation."

Grayson was shocked to the core. Sebastian has changed! In the past, he had been particularly nice to me and the rest of our brothers. Although he slightly favored Lucas, he still treated me pretty well. Yet, I have recently noticed that his attitude toward me is getting worse and worse. Well, perhaps I really should reflect on myself. Have I done something wrong to the point that I'm becoming increasingly less favored by Sebastian?

"Fine. I got it." Despite madly complaining about it inwardly, he still behaved himself and didn't dare to defy Sebastian outwardly.

As Caitlin still needed to be monitored in the operating room for another half hour before she could come out, Madeline pulled Leigh aside, asking in a low voice, "Shouldn't we consult Katy's opinion about having Grayson take care of her? I think what Grayson said earlier wasn't wrong. It's Katy who will be at a disadvantage if the two spend a substantial amount of alone time in a room."

"No, she won't," Leigh said, dismissing her. "Maddie, you're great in every way, but your thinking is too conventional. If a man and a woman being together means the woman is at a disadvantage, then why do the young men in the male strip club charge money for their services?"

Madeline was speechless at Leigh's comparison. Is it really appropriate to compare Grayson to a gigolo in a male strip club?

"I don't care. I, too, have helped Katy with the surgery, so she owes me a favor. We'll do it my way!" Leigh stated. "Lucian has been pestering Katy, and Ann was the one who pushed her because Grayson had helped her. She got injured because of the two!"

Crossing her arms, she sneered, "Isn't Lucian pestering Katy? Fine. I'll make Grayson stay by her side every day. Seeing them inseparable ought to drive him mad! Then, there's Ann. She got jealous and

pushed Katy after seeing Grayson helping her, right? Fine. I'll make her drown in jealousy by asking Grayson to take care of Katy and be her 24-hour personal care!"

Ultimately, Madeline was bereft of speech. If we're talking about being ruthless, it's definitely Leigh!

She shook her head at the thought of that. Then, she expressed her concern. "Grayson is Lucas' older brother. Are you not afraid that Lucas will be unhappy if you treat him like this?"
