"Well, mom, didn't I tell you that I had a boyfriend when I was a sophomore? He was that person, but

this was all in the past,"

Hera felt at ease.

After dinner, Hera fell asleep early due to her physical condition. Coralie cleaned up the house before

returning to her room. She sat in front of the writing desk and found her marriage certificate. Her eyes

were teary.

Coralie looked at the photo of the two of them on the marriage certificate. Only then did she notice that

Skylar Holland was smiling when the picture was being taken.

Although it was a light smile, he looked handsome.

"Skylar, I've spoken so harshly to your mother. We can't possibly be together, right?"

Corrine held the cardboard box containing her things and looked at her in a fierce manner.

knew that Skylar belonged to Valerie, and not to her.

Coralie stood in front of Manager Johnson's desk and thanked him respectfully.

had called her family a few days ago. He said quite naturally, "That phone call, it was President Holland

who asked me to make the call."
