You Complete Me novel (Skylar and Coralie)

Chapter 288

Chapter 288

"Who?" Jessica paused for a while hearing Hendric's answer, but she immediately burst into laughter.

"Yeah, yeah, who in A City doesn't know about Skylar Holland?"

She thought Hendric was joking so she didn't take it seriously.

However, Hendric understood the meaning behind her laugh. He walked over, pouted and said, "My

father really is Skylar."

"Hendric, go over there and sit like a good boy. I'll take you for something yummy when we finish the

registration," Coralie said. She patted Hendric's head and took him to the seat at the back. Then she

pulled a lollipop out from her bag and gave it to him. "This is for you. I'll be quick."

"Okay."

Hendric grabbed the lollipop and sat down obediently.

Coralie walked up to Jessica and said, "Sorry, he was just playing around."

The kindergarten teacher saw Coralie explain and immediately replied, "It's alright. Can you fill in his

father's name?"

"Can I not?" She asked.

"Then you should leave the name of some other family members. By the way, please leave their phone

numbers too."

The kindergarten teacher compromised.

Coralie filled the form in all seriousness, and she finally finished signing up Hendric for kindergarten.

The kindergarten teacher received the form and left. When Coralie was putting the coat on Hendric,

she heard Jessica and the other teachers chatting...

"Her child didn't mean it? I think she has been daydreaming every day, wishing she could marry Skylar

Holland. Who knew that her child picked it up? Children can't lie."

Then, it was followed by a burst of laughter.

Coralie was afraid that Hendric would hear it, so she quickly put on his coat and took him out for dinner.

After they got out of the door, Hendric raised his head and asked Coralie, "Mom, do we have to keep

Dad's identity from people?"

"No, that's not it." Coralie bent down again to straighten Hendric's clothes, and then took him in her

arms to grab some food.

She did not know how to explain it to Hendric.

The grown-up world was too complicated for him. Even something as simple as his father's name

couldn't be disclosed earlier.

In fact, it was not just here. It didn't matter wherever Hendric went. If he said that his father was Skylar

Holland, he would be judged strangely, unless Skylar himself was there with him.

After that, Coralie took Hendric to eat. NôvelDrama.Org owns this.

When they were eating, the phone rang. When Coralie saw Felicia's name on the screen, she

immediately picked it up.

Sure enough, after the phone was connected, Felicia immediately whispered, "Sister Coralie! Big news,

President Holland is here today."

"Really?"

Coralie's hand, which was holding the mobile phone, flinched.

Finally, the day had come.

"Bloody true. President Holland is in the company today. Everyone was reporting their progress to him.

I secretly followed behind my colleague and stole a glance. He is indeed in the president's office now."

"Is he... Is he injured or something?"

"Injured? I did try to look, but no, he looks quite normal. Just sitting there looking at his documents, he

seems fine though."

Felicia thought for a moment and said.

"Is that so?"

Coralie had thought of a thousand excuses to justify Skylar's action.

However, what about now?

Felicia said that everything was as usual...

Then why did he want to get rid of her?

"Yeah. Why don't you come to the front desk and ask if you can come in?" Felicia suggested.

Coralie immediately said yes.

She felt that she wouldn't back down if she didn't get an explanation.

After accompanying Hendric for the meal and sending him home, Coralie went to Skyton Corporation

on her own.

She didn't want to use Hendric as a tool.

She just wanted to have a good talk with Skylar and ask him about his reasons.

......

Coralie put on delicate makeup at home. The weather was frigid, so she put on a beige windbreaker

before going out, making her look more elegant with her fair skin.

In front of Skyton Corporation's door.

Coralie walked to the front desk with her bag in her hand. The young girl at the front desk recognized

Coralie at a glance. Although she might have guessed why she was here, she still asked in a routine

way, "Hello, what can I do for you?"

"I want to see President Holland."

Coralie went straight to the point.

"I'm sorry, you can't see President Holland without an appointment. However, President Holland has

already closed off his appointment reservation. Unless it's his personal orders, I have no right to let you

in."

Before the receptionist had finished her words, she lowered her head and continued with her own work.

"I'm sorry but I have to see him. Could you let him know about it?" Coralie said. She added, "Oh, and

my name is Coralie Chariott."

"If you know President Holland, just contact him. As long as he lets you in, you can go in."

The receptionist said in the same, blank tone.

"I can't contact him..."

Skylar's private phone number had been changed, and she was blacklisted by his business phone

number either, not to mention sending an email. Coralie had no way to contact Skylar at all.

"Sorry then, I'm afraid I don't have the right to let you in," the receptionist said.

"Can you..." Coralie wanted to continue.

"Madam, there are too many women like you, asking to see President Holland. What kind of woman

hasn't President Holland seen? Please know your place."

The receptionist misunderstood Coralie's purpose and rebuked.

Her words completely froze Coralie.

She didn't expect the receptionist to say so. Helplessly, she could only tell her, "Allow me to introduce

myself again. I'm President Holland's ex-wife. I need to see him now."

When the word "ex-wife" slid out of her mouth, the receptionist immediately scrutinized Coralie. Then

she snorted, "This is President Holland's private business. I can't let you in without his order, but..." She

looked contemptuously at Coralie and continued, "I knew President Holland was caught up in a rumor

before, but I haven't heard that he was married. Please don't use such a ridiculous excuse. No one will

believe it."

Coralie found that she couldn't get into the company at all.

This was the same as last time.

"Coralie?"

When Coralie was in a dilemma, someone called her.

Coralie turned her head and saw that it was Lenora Fisher.

"Lenora, this person wants to see President Holland."

The receptionist met Lenora at the front desk and said quickly.

"President Holland knows her," Lenora said unhesitantly. "Isn't President Holland here today? Let her

in."

After saying that, Lenora intended to let Coralie pass by the entrance by using her work pass.

The receptionist didn't expect Lenora to actually say that President Holland knew Coralie. Seeing that

Lenora was going to take Coralie in, she quickly said, "Lenora, Assistant Lowell has just said that

President Holland won't see anyone. Only the employees in Skyton Corporation can go in, even the

representatives of other companies can't see him."

"Did he?"

Lenora's hand, which was about to swipe the card, stopped in her tracks.

"Yes, why don't you go up and ask Assistant Lowell? If he allows it, you can take her in. I'm but a mere

receptionist, I don't have the right to let her in."

The receptionist's words were very obvious.

Coralie guessed that Jayson must have predicted that she might show up today, so he specifically

instructed the front desk.
