Chapter 272

It was Tom who was dragging Coralie along.

"Tom, it's almost time. Do you think Leonardo will come? Will he return it to us?"

Jerry asked worriedly.

"I'm sure he will. His wife is in our hands," Tom answered.

However, he wasn't that confident himself.

Coralie looked back and saw the faces of her kidnappers, Tom and Jerry, for the first time.

They were very different from what she imagined them to look like.

It was obvious that they were brothers. They looked alike but Jerry was skinnier.

Tom was tall and muscular.

Both of them looked young; Tom seemed to be in his late twenties. From their appearance, they looked

like any other youngsters out there, with fair and smooth skin. They didn't look like they were from a

poor family.

"Who told you my identity? That person wasn't helping but harming you."

Even at this moment, Coralie still wanted to figure out this matter.

She vaguely felt that she might know the person who leaked the information to Tom and Jerry.

"Shut up! We voluntarily kidnapped you, so what does it have to do with that person?" Tom said.

"I advise both of you to leave now. Even if Leonardo comes alone later, there will surely be police

future will also be gone," Coralie said.

She realized that Tom had dragged Jerry into this and at that time, Tom also seemed to have thoughts

of pulling out.

the stairs wearing huge black sunglasses. She couldn't figure out his facial expression at the moment.

"You said that you wouldn't call the police."

"You believed me?" Yohan smirked. He turned his face slightly and looked at Coralie's face. He said,

"Let her go and I'll give you the three million dollars."

"Three million dollars? You swindled my family, so what do I need that three million dollars for? I want

the patent. If you don't give it to me, I'll jump off with her!" Tom shouted.

He was a little scared just now, but he was no longer afraid now.

There was already no way out for him.

Coralie did not speak nor ask for help from Yohan.

Ever since Tom and Jerry told her what had happened, she truly despised Yohan and didn't want to talk

to him.

However, at this moment, Yohan said, "Don't be afraid. They won't dare to do anything to you."

"Is that so?" Coralie asked.

She looked at Yohan, who was full of confidence.

He was taking a bet, betting on Coralie's life.

"Yes, I know them. They're just rich playboys."

Yohan spoke.

Every single word he said also upset Tom and Jerry.

"Leonardo, shut up!" Another voice sounded.

"Skylar..."

"Leonardo, Coralie exchanged her life for mine a year ago. That's why her life is also my life. This is not

considered meddling in other people's business," Skylar responded.

"Cut the crap! Leonardo, I want the patent. Give it to me now, or I'll jump off the building with her!"

Tom screamed.

Right after, Yohan looked at Skylar and said, "I told you that you are a busybody, right? You won't be

able to solve this matter at all."

"You played dirty tactics and snatched someone else's patent then forced their father to the point of

death. Did you think that nobody will investigate it?"

Skylar clarified without allowing Yohan to finish his words.

"I didn't expect you to know so much about this. However......" Yohan paused for a moment. Then he

continued, "I don't intend to give up the patent. I'll at most pay three million dollars as ransom."

He spoke casually.

"Look, I've told you that you've caught the wrong person, right?"

Coralie told Tom while mocking herself.

"I am Skylar, the president of Skyton Corporation. I don't have the patent that you want, but if you let

her go, I will fully support your lawsuit and help you get back your patent."

Skylar stood beside Yohan and spoke confidently.
