Chapter 152

Evelyn Simpson was a mixed-blood who had grown up abroad.

Most men abroad would respond when an attractive woman like Evelyn introduced herself.

From the moment when Anthony Holland and Skylar Holland came in, Evelyn's gaze had never left

When Skylar heard Lillian's words, he said, "Mom, since the engagement ceremony has been

canceled, we should stop talking about it. Otherwise, people are going to misunderstand."

What he was annoyed most was not the Rae family or Valerie. Instead, it was Lillian who kept claiming

one-sidedly that Valerie was her daughter-in-law.

"Skylar, did my father say something to you? I know that you are looking for me, but please believe in

my feelings for you. No matter what happens, I am willing to be with you and believe in you."

Valerie was taking advantage of Anthony's presence to showcase her loyalty.

outside, "Open the door."

"Howard, what do you want?"

Coralie hurried back to the door to confirm that the door had been locked.

"Open the door."

Howard repeated his words and his insistence sent chills down her spine.

There was a rustling sound coming from the door lock. It wasn't loud, but Coralie could still hear it

clearly. He was tampering with the lock.

"Call the police! Wayne, call the police!"
