Chapter 88 Let's Play Together
Chapter 88 Let's Play Together
Before she could finish her words, her cell phone vibrated. It was Lavinia George. "Where are you
now?"
"I'm on my way back to the House of Wright. What's wrong?"
"Nothing, I'm just bored. I'll go to the House of Wright to find you later. Ok, I'll hang up first."
Beau raised his eyebrows and narrowed his eyes. "From whom?"
"Lavinia said she would come to the House of Wright to find me later." Harriet hung up the phone and
said.
"Do you still have any connection with the policeman Peter?" He turned the steering wheel to the right
and said, seemingly unintentional.
She nodded. "Of course."
Hearing this, he looked at her. "Doesn't he know that you are married?"
"There doesn't seem to be much correlation between the two things." Harriet paused for a moment
before continuing, "He's a very good person. He's kind and honest. A true friend."
What she said was the truth. In today's society, how many people like Peter Johns could there be?
He was indeed a friend everyone did not want to lose.
Beau's eyebrows twitched, and his lips were tightly pursed into a straight line. His handsome face
darkened a little.
She completely regarded him as air. Facing him, she praised another man in front of him!
"Since Mr. Johns has such an impression of Mrs. Wright, what about me?" He asked slowly.
After thinking for a while, Harriet raised her eyebrows and said, "Didn't you say you are a dishonest
businessman? To be honest, I think your conclusion is right."
"…" His gloomy expression changed a little, but he still smiled casually. "Thank you for your praise,
Mrs. Wright..."
But Harriet could naturally sense the danger. She looked away and coughed lightly. "There's no need to
thank me."
Hearing this, Beau snorted coldly. His hand reached out unexpectedly, grabbed her chin directly, and
bit her lips severely.
Feeling the pain, Harriet couldn't help but gasp. She pushed his chest with both hands and said
vaguely, "You're still driving. Focus."
Beau grinned. "Kiss me with your tongue, I'll let go of you. Otherwise, I can kiss you like this for five
minutes, Mrs. Wright..."
She glared at him!
But he ignored her gaze and pinched her chin and licked her gently.
The place he licked was hot, moist, and itchy. There were cars coming and going on the way, and
everyone could see them clearly through the front window!
He was shameless, but not her!
With a flushed face, Harriet closed her eyes, approached him, and gently kissed his lips.
Beau looked at cheeks which were white and smooth, flushing for a little shy. Her long and curly
eyelashes fluttered gently, stirring his heart.
He was not a person who valued lust, but his lust for her grew stronger and stronger...
Harriet was right. As soon as she walked into the living room, she saw Lainey sitting on the sofa with a
poker face.
Instantly, she felt her blood frozen.
"Why did you come back so late?" Although Lainey looked at Beau, she was talking to Harriet.
Beau rubbed his brows and replied to her, "It was a little late yesterday, and it was difficult to refuse
such kindness, so I stayed there."
This was reasonable, so Lainey didn't say anything more. She just said, "Really?"
"Yes..." Beau replied softly and went upstairs to change his clothes. There was only Harriet left in the
living room.
Just as Lainey was about to speak, footsteps sounded. Then, Lavinia and Arthur came in.
"Aunt, happy New Year. Tsk, I haven't seen you for so long, but you're still so beautiful." Arthur raised
his pretty eyes and smiled.
Everyone liked to hear praises, so was Lainey. Suddenly, she grinned from ear to ear. "Well, you are
still glib."
As she spoke, she noticed Lavinia and looked her up and down. "Who is this?"
Lavinia was wearing a fur coat and a short skirt. Her black hair was dyed into a big roll and scattered
on her shoulders, and her face was covered with heavy makeup.
"Nice to meet you, Aunt. I'm a friend of Harriet's. I've heard from her many times that you're young and
beautiful. I finally know it's true when I met you today." Lavinia said politely.
She had always been good at social relationships and had a way of talking to everyone.
Lainey had never liked women with heavy makeup. When she heard that she was Harriet's friend, she
looked at her with a little stony, but she didn't show it. "Thank you, Melissa, two cups of coffee."
Lavinia was so shrewd that she could see her stony stare at a glance, but she pretended not to see it.
At this time, Beau had changed his clothes and went downstairs. When he saw Arthur and Lavinia, he
raised his eyebrows. "Why are you here together?"
Arthur squinted. "Mr. Wright, why can't we come here together?"
Lavinia swept her gaze across Arthur's neck. There was a hickey on it which was clear. She had bitten
him on purpose last night.
Beau also swept his gaze over the two of them. His eyes narrowed slightly, but he didn't expose them.
"I'm free anyway. How about playing poker together?" Arthur suggested.
Lavinia spread her hands to show that she had no objection.
Beau and Harriet didn't make any comments. That meant they agreed.
Mary happened to walk stairs. She glanced at Beau and then greeted Arthur with a smile. "You are
here." Belongs © to NôvelDrama.Org.
"May is also at home?" Arthur smiled charmingly, strode over, and gave Mary a warm hug.
Seeing this, Lavinia's beautiful eyes widened slightly, while Beau's handsome face was as calm as
usual. No one could tell what he was thinking.
"We're going to play poker. Mary, do you want to join us?" Arthur invited Mary.
Mary's eyes swept over the four of them and said gently, "There are enough people and it will be too
many people if I join in. Maybe next time."
"What's the big deal? The two of them are a family. They count as one." Arthur reached out and pointed
at Beau and Harriet gently.
Harriet smiled and said, "You play. I'll watch from the side."
Instead of going to the room, they sat in the living room. The four of them sat around the mahjong
table. Beau did not participate but sat behind and watched.
Of the four people at the table, only Arthur was male.
Arthur touched his chin. "I won't show mercy because you are a woman, so you have to be mentally
prepared in advance. And we would start with a higher starting point, 3,000."
