But for Ethan, he mentioned it like it was just a normal expense that wasn't worth mentioning.

He was full of surprises.

The moment they stepped into the club, they attracted countless gazes in an instant.

A stunning lady in a miniskirt walked over and greeted him. "Mr. Dane, good to see you."

The way she looked at him was even hotter than her figure.

Ethan gently placed one hand on Josephine's back and said, "This is my friend. From now on, whenever she visits, treat her with the highest level of service."

The lady looked at Josephine in surprise. Then she frowned. "You look kind of familiar. Are you an influencer?"

Josephine was about to greet her with a smile, but when she heard this, her smile froze.

She wasn't an influencer, but she had been all over the Internet recently.

Could it be that this lady had seen Zayn's news?

The lady was startled, as if she realized she had misspoken. She turned to Ethan with a pitiful look.

Unfortunately for her, her pitiful look didn't work on Ethan. He was unmoved, and his expression turned grim.

Seeing that she refused to leave and was pouting in a way she thought was cute, Ethan frowned.

He placed his hand behind Josephine's back and led her in another direction.

"Mr. Dane!"

The lady's voice rang out behind them, but Ethan didn't even look back at her.

After walking away for some distance, he turned to look at Josephine. "I'm sorry." "Why are you apologizing?"

Josephine however, just smiled casually.

"She didn't say anything. She merely recognized me. Besides, having to work with a financial tycoon like you, it's normal for her to keep up with rich people's gossip.

"It's completely normal for her to have seen the news about me."

To him, it wasn't normal at all.

A moment ago, Ethan told her to treat her with the highest level of service. That

employee should've known that she was someone important to him.

However, she still deliberately exposed Josephine's identity. It was likely she thought Josephine was deceiving Ethan, so she wanted to expose and embarrass Josephine.

The employee's goal was to get closer to Ethan and to seduce him.

All these years, countless women tried to approach him using such lowly tactics. He had already learned to see right through them with a single glance.

Only a fool like Josephine would think that the employee's actions were unintentional.

He led her to the VIP dressing room himself. "Go in and wait a moment. I'll have someone bring you the clothes."

"Alright."

Once she was inside, he pulled out his phone and made a call.

"Jeremy, bring the clothes and shoes from my office's third cabinet and send them to the VIP One dressing room.

"Also, fire the receptionist in the red skirt at the entrance."

Both of his orders shocked the other person on the line.

That was because Jeremy knew that the sportswear in the third cabinet had been selected by Ethan himself. Moreso, it was a set of women's sportswear.

Furthermore, the VIP One dressing room had never been used since the club's renovation.

Who on earth could receive such special treatment, to use both the sportswear and the dressing room?

Could that be the owner's lover?
