Chapter 439 Coax Your Girlfriend!
Since he didn't admit it, Cordelia didn't ask any more questions.
Kelly became even more agitated at the side. "You're not alright! How many times have you been to the
hospital this year alone? Didn't I turn down my job to take care of you every time?"
Staring at Ben coldly, Elijah said, "Shut up! I want her to get out now. Do you have any objection?"
Ben smiled gently and said, "You can't tolerate Kelly any longer just because she told the truth?"
Cordelia looked at the man who was sitting steadily on the sofa, feeling as if she was looking at a
dummy in Ben's skin.
Elijah sneered and said, "If you feel sorry for her, you can get lost together with her."
Ben smiled without saying anything.
Kelly instantly looked at Elijah with tears in his eyes and said, "Elijah, I'm doing this for your own good.
How could you treat me like this?"
"The sight of you annoys me." After saying that, Elijah took two steps forward, pulled Cordelia over, and
walked toward the restaurant. He did not forget to say to Ben, "There's breakfast for you. If you don't
eat, I'll finish everything."
Ben stood up gracefully, pushed his glasses up his nose, and looked at Kelly while saying, "Kelly, you'd
better leave first. Since Cordelia is here, it's impossible for Elijah to tolerate other women. You'll only be
disgracing yourself if you stay."
"I'm not leaving!" Kelly exclaimed as she stubbornly looked at Ben's back with tears in her eyes. She
then sat down on the sofa.
As for the breakfast Kelly bought, it was also placed on the coffee table, but Elijah never glanced at it.
Kelly thought, "Would he rather have that unhygienic junk food for breakfast than the breakfast I made
with love? Why?"
Kelly could not understand how she was inferior to Cordelia since she was young, beautiful, and had a
superb figure.
She was not convinced at all!
In the dining room, the three of them ate breakfast in silence.
Cordelia quietly observed Ben and Elijah at the same time.
Ben ate delicately, like a girl. In some ways, it differed from his usual dining etiquette, but not in a major
way.
As for Elijah, he ate very slowly, which was in stark contrast to the way he used to gobble up his food
quickly in the past.
There may indeed be something wrong with his gut.

"What are you going to buy?"
"I'm going to the Undernet to run some errands," Cordelia said truthfully.
Her plan was to bring back some medicinal materials and cook some medicinal food for Elijah to
nourish his gut.
As far as she was concerned, it was just a matter of convenience, and she didn't realize that her
concern for Elijah was a little excessive.
At this moment, Kelly chased him into the yard.
"Elijah, where are you going? I'll go with you."
Cordelia paused when she heard the girl's voice. Then, she said, "Forget it. I'll go on my own!"
Cordelia's temper had improved significantly since she started taking care of Kenny and Amy.
It didn't mean, however, that Cordelia could stand a girl whom she disliked, constantly trying to assert
her presence in front of her despite her good temper.
When Elijah heard Cordelia's words, his face immediately turned sullen, and he suddenly raised his
voice at Kelly. "I told you to get out of here. Don't you understand?"
Kelly was stunned for a moment.
She never thought that Elijah would yell at her so harshly.
Kelly wondered, "Is it all because of that old woman?"
"No! I want to be with you!" Kelly stubbornly stepped forward and hugged Elijah's arm tightly.
Behind Elijah, Cordelia spoke leisurely, "Elijah, you'd better stay at home and coax your little girlfriend
well!"
She had already gotten inside the car and locked the door by the time she finished speaking.
