Cordelia didn't give her the time to argue. She continued, "Ms. Clare Price, I won't be polite to you if
you come to me and provoke me again. By the way, tell Laura about this."

She burst into tears. "Mr. Hansen, why don't you believe me?"

"How can I explain it to convince you? I don't want to compete with Evie, and I never thought about
being able to replace her." Clare cried pitifully. Tears rolled down her cheeks.
