wishes and choices. If my presence makes her uncomfortable, I will stop immediately. I am serious to
Cordelia."
Elijah knew what Eason meant.
Although Eason's words didn't sound pleasant, Elijah still patiently thought if what he did was right and
did not argue with Eason impulsively.
He stared at Eason for a long time with cold eyes and then said, "I admit that I'm persistent. But I think
this is the courage a man should have."
Eason's eyes were deep, and he thought about Elijah's words seriously.
Elijah smiled lightly. "I am indeed not as tolerant as you. Forgive me that I really can't just be her friend
and watch her being with other men. I must work hard to do something. This is what a man should be
like."
