Hailey’s Point of View

“Hailey, it’s Demon.” Agatha said as she was panicking.

“Why? What happened to Demon?”

“He’s hurting the students again and no one has tried to stop him. But I know you can do something.”

“Where are they?”

“Follow me and I’ll take you to Demon.” She says.

We hurriedly ran into the classroom where Demon was.NôvelDrama.Org content.

“Are you sure he’s here?” I asked her.

“I am sure.”

Even before we entered the classroom, I immediately heard the students shouting.

I haven’t wasted any more time. I went inside and saw that the tables and chairs were broken.

My gaze went to Demon as he held a long iron.

“Demon!” I called him but he didn’t even look at me.

As I approached him I felt a hand grip my arm.

“Hailey, he might hurt you.” Agatha worriedly says.

“I don’t care. I need to save the students even if I get hurt.” I said and removed her hand from my arm.

I approached Demon and when he hit the students again with the iron I immediately grabbed his hand. He stopped because of what I did and he faced me.

“Let go of my hand.” Demon emphatically says.

His eyes blazed with anger.

“What’s the problem? Why are you hurting them?”

“You don’t have that problem anymore so it’s better if you stay away so you don’t get hurt.”

“I’m not going away. Stop that, Demon.”

“Didn’t you hear me?”

“I heard you but I just don’t want to see you hurt anyone else.”

“Do you know what sin they committed?”

“I do not know.”

“If you don’t know, I’ll tell you. They tried to take the university’s secret book without my knowing. If you’re in my situation and position. What are you going to do with them?”

I looked at the students and they looked innocent but that was not their true personality.

“I’ll give them punishment.” I said.

“See. You’ll do the same.”

“But it’s not a punishment that they can kill.”

“Aren’t you learning yet, Hailey?”

“Did you know that when you feel mercy for them it’s what you don’t know they just laugh at you. Only the weak know how to feel mercy.”

“But why did you show mercy to me?” I asked.

“When I first entered this university you wanted to kill me but why didn’t you continue? Why did you feel mercy for me?”

“Because you’re different from them. You’re not like them.” He said and averted his gaze.

“If you hurt them again. I’ll be mad at you.”

“Why don’t you just let me kill them?”

“I don’t want to see anyone hurt in front of me.”

“Why don’t you just go out so you can’t see?”

“Because I don’t want your hand to be stained with blood of those lowly students.”

“I won’t kill them now but I’ll take them to Bloody Jail.”

“Thank you.” I thank him.

The guards took the students and took them to Bloody Jail.

I noticed that Demon’s lip was pale.

“Are you okay?” I asked him.

“Of course.”

I touched his forehead and it was so hot.

“You’re not okay. You have a fever.”

“Are you worried about me?”

“Yes. I’m worried about you.”

“It’s just a fever so you shouldn’t be worry. But I want you to worry about me.”

I took him to his office because there was also a bed here.

He lay down and I got a cloth and water.

I put the cloth in the water and wiped his face.

His eyes are closed so he can just feel what I’m doing but he can’t see.

He suddenly grab my hand.

“Elle. Don’t leave me, please. I’m begging you.” He exclaimed.

“Who is Elle?” I asked in my mind.

“Is she the woman Demon first loved and the one buried in the tomb?” I softly asked.

“Elle.” He said again.

“You really love her?”

“I loved her.”

I caressed his hair and tears started dripping from my eyes.

“I’m here but why are you looking for her?”

After I wiped his face, arm, and foot I left his office.

While walking to the dorm I didn’t realize that Raze was next to me.

“What are you doing here? Night is coming soon.”

“I just want to walk.”

“Did Demon do something to you?”

“From the look on your face you are obviously sad and you are deep in thought.”

“Raze, if I ask you something will you answer me truthfully?”

“Depends on your question.”

“I would have liked to ask something and I also wanted to know if what I had in mind was true.”

“What question do you want to answered?”

“Who is Elle? Who is she in Demon’s life?”

“If you don’t want to answer my question, it’s okay.”

“Elle is the woman you saw buried. Let me guess, while you were wiping Demon she mentioned Elle’s name?”

I couldn’t answer because he was right.

“Silence means yes.” He added.

“First love never die.”

“I know. You don’t need to say that to me.”

“Let’s just say Demon loves you but have you thought about who he will choose between you and Elle?”

“I never thought of that. What matters to me is that he loves me.”

“But it hurts more when you know in yourself that you are the one he loves at the moment but the one in his heart. Are you?”

“Listen to me, Hailey. If Demon loves you he won’t be able to hurt you.”

“Do you know why I’m telling you this? Because I don’t want to hurt you or someone to hurt you.”

“I know you don’t want to hurt me but what can you do? It’s all happening. It’s all written down. Do you think I can still change that?”

“Everything that’s happening has a reason. Don’t give up. I’m just here and I won’t leave you no matter what happens.” He assured me.

I feel comfortable whenever Raze is by my side. I feel like I have a friend who i can tell all the pain inside me that I can’t tell others.

But whenever Demon is by my side I feel safe. It was as if no one could hurt me anymore because he was by my side and he was ready to protect me no matter what.

“We’re already here in front of your dorm.”

“Go inside.” Raze added.

I went inside and waved at him first before I closed the door.

I went upstairs and lay down on my bed.

While lying down I took my pillow and hugged it tightly.

I closed my eyes and everything went black.
