Hailey’s Point of View

The subjects paseed but Demon still staring at me until now.

I did not listen to what the professors taught because of him.

Even though I tried to avoid his gaze, I couldn’t help but look in his direction.

“That’s all for today.” The professor said.

As I was arranging my things, someone suddenly grabbed my hand.

I immediately removed Demon’s grip on my hand.

“I want to talk to you. Let’s fix this.”

“We don’t have anything to talk about anymore.” I said and didn’t look at him.

“Whether you like it or not you’ll come with me.” He insisted.

“Shit!” I could only say when he held my hand tightly.

“What ?! Release me.”

He took me to a place with a grave.

“What are we doing here?”

I noticed the sadness in his eyes as he looked at the grave.

“Why is there a grave here? Do you know who is buried there?” I asked him.

“Yes.”

“She is my secret. My biggest secret.” He sadly said.

I never thought he would tell me his secret. His secret.

“Who is she?”

“She’s my first love.”

I was shocked by what he said.

“First Love?” I said asking him.

“She died because of me. She sacrificed herself for me who is not worthy to love.” He said and turned his face me to me.

The tone of his speech became gentle and so did his face.

“Everyone knows she died in an accident but they know wrong. Headmaster Dracilus kept the truth. The secret.” He sadly said.

“It’s not your fault. It happened for a reason.”

“No. It’s all my fault. I’ve been selfish.” He blames himself.

“Do you think when she’s here she’ll want you to blame yourself?”

“Isn’t it? It’s all over and I’m sure she wants you to forget everything. Start a new life.”

I was shocked when he suddenly hugged me and I heard him crying.

I never thought that someone like Demon who has no mercy on others would know how to cry. Behind his brave personality is hidden a Demon who wants to get out of grief.

“Stop crying. Just cry as long as you want, I won’t leave you.”

Simultaneously with his crying was the sudden rain.

I also like to cry at these times. This girl is lucky because Demon loves her so much. He just can’t handle Demon anymore but I know she’s happy wherever she is.

Is it love that I feel for Demon?

Demon raised his head.

“You already told Hailey your secret.” A familiar voice.

I’m sure it was Raze who spoke.

“Hailey, can you accept a demon like him?” Raze asked and pointed at Demon.

“A woman died just for him. She was the reason why the woman gave up her life.” Raze insisted.

“Demon doesn’t want anyone to sacrifice their lives just for him. He’s already regretted everything.” I said and he laughed.

“And you believe him? He’s just lying.”

“Can I? Stop that Raze. If he’s lying he shouldn’t have told me his secret.” I said irritatedly.

“He just said that to make you believe. Look at yourself now you believe him. Hailey, think about what I said. You still don’t know much about Demon. There’s a lot more.” He said loudly and looked sharply at Demon.

“Are you afraid of thunder and lightning?” Demon asked and i nodded.

“Just ignore Raze.” I said.

“I’m used to his attitude. Every time I get something he wants to get it too. We haven’t gotten along since we were kids. We only get along on one thing.” He said and put his hand in his pocket.

“Being a killer o kill someone.” He added.

A smile flashed on his lips. Like nothing happened. He seems to have been crying in my arm lately. But now the demon that everyone feared has returned.

Should I believe what Raze says? I don’t really know Demon yet.

“Go back to your dorm.”

“We’re okay now. So tomorrow you shouldn’t be mad at me.” He said and grinned.

“You’re just secretly crying.” I whispered.

“I haven’t cried on a woman’s arm yet.” He bit his lower lip.

He was getting closer and closer to me so my heart was beating faster.

“You’re mine. Stamp that on your mind and heart.” He said emphatically.

“What do you mean?” I asked confused.

“You’re really stupid and slow.” He said in a teasing tone.

Even before I could walk away he suddenly hugged me.

“If you’re the moon, let me be your sky.” I could feel his warm breath on my neck.

“You’re my moon. Who gives light to my darkness night. If you leave me, my world will be dark and lose light.” He continued.

“Be with me my moon and I will give you the whole sky.” He put his hand on my waist.

He presented my face to him. His lips are barely touching mine.

“It’s late but you’re still outside and you’re still with that man.” Demon didn’t continue to kiss me because someone suddenly spoke.

“Kent, what are you doing here?” I asked him.

“You’re the one I have to ask. Why are you with him and both of you are here with not many students coming.”

“And at night. Really?.” Kent continued.

“I just went with him.” I said.

“When I came he was about to kiss you and it looked like you wanted to.”

In the tone of his speech he was obviously disgusted and angry.

“Come with Kent. It looks like he’s going to explode because of his anger at me.” Demon teasingly said.

He removed his hand from my waist and quickly disappeared.

I looked down to avoid Kent looking at me badly now.

“Let’s go to the dormitory.” He coldly said.

“Are you mad at me?”

“I’m not mad at you but i am mad at Demon.”
