Jewel just stared at the young man while his tears kept falling asleep. She couldn’t quite imagine that she would now see in front of her that the man she loved so much was also suffering.

She touched Thunder’s face and turned it over to her. “T-thunder.”

“I’m sorry Jewel, I didn’t mean to do it. Yes I’m mad at you but I didn’t think of doing that thing to you. I was so sorry when I woke up and you weren’t at home. I was still looking for you but I couldn’t find you.”

“Thunder listen to me, I understand your side. I’m sorry if I didn’t wait for you to explain first and I left immediately. You know it’s not easy for me, it gives me a lot of trauma. And to be honest with you I can’t say now if I’ve forgiven you, the pain is still here until now, the pain of the past. ”

“I know, Cain told me everything. So I regretted it even more when I found out what happened to you. If I could just bring back the past I would do everything to avoid that to happen. And I won’t rush you to forgive me because I know what I did wasn’t easy for you.” he promised

“What happens after Thunder?”

“I was looking for you. I also hired private investigators but they all didn’t come back to me. I feel like someone is preventing them from reporting to me so I stopped looking for you. My life was miserable then, I neglected the company and I was always at the bar. I told my parents and your parents everything that happened to us from the time we got married until that night. Daddy was angry with what I did to you so he threw me at the hacienda and I stayed there for a long time until I one day I woke up and I want to fix my life so that when we meet again I’m a grown up man already. ” he said

Jewel was almost out of breath because of crying, she thought that Thunder just let her go without knowing that he was looking for her. And another thing she thought that she was the only one who suffered, when in fact Thunder was also suffering.

“It’s been in the past and we can’t take it back. What’s more important now is Storm. He needs a father, he needs you.”

“B-but how? He’s mad at me.” Thunder said and I can see the sadness in his eyes

She smiled at him. “Everything will be alright, Storm is kind but sometimes he’s straight forward and cold just like you.”

“That’s how strong my genes are.” he boasted

The girl hit him for what he said. “You’re so confident of yourself.”

“What? I’m just telling the truth. Not like what you’ve done in the restaurant when we first met again and also when you ran away from me in the condo.”

Jewel blushed again because of what Thunder said. “I didn’t run away from you. I just really needed to leave because I have some important matter and in the restaurant, you were the first to say that I’m wasting your time.”

“You’re in such a hurry to leave, when in fact you are only jealous. You shouldn’t be jealous of Celine either.” He said

I raised an eyebrow at what he said and suddenly I remembered Celine, she’s a good person and I know she’s Thunder’s fiancee and it’s wrong that I am here in his condo.

“Speaking of her, aren’t you getting married? I shouldn’t be here.”

“Listen to me Jewel, we’re not getting married and we don’t have a relationship. She’s a Dark cousin and I just asked her to help me and pretend we’re getting married so that I can talk to you.” He explained

“You jerk! You planned all of this,  You’re annoying!“ She slaps him in the arm because she thinks that Thunder will actually marry someone else.

“Hey stop it! Stop Jewel Hahahahaha. I can’t think of a way to talk to you so that’s how I did. But Celine refused to continue our plan because of what happened to my condo when she saw Kevin. I found out that the guy is her ex fiancee. She had rejected the proposal of that man a year ago, so she was surprised when she saw him with you and told her that you are in a relationship. ”

“Seriously? He’s the one who rejected my cousin?” Jewel asked in a shock voice,

Thunder nodded immediately. “W-wait, what do you mean cousin? I thought he was your boyfriend. That’s why Celine cried so hard that day.”

“Yes, Kevin is my cousin.”

“I really thought that you love someone else. But I was very grateful when I saw Storm the first time I immediately noticed our resemblance so I also wanted to meet his mother and the next day you went to the condo and said Storm is your son so my gut feeling got stronger so I investigated you right away and I found out the truth. ” He stated

Thunder got up and walked over to a cabinet near them, he opened it and someone took that little box there and walked back again to the bed, he sat down next to Jewel and took her one hand.

He opened the box he was holding and I couldn’t believe what I saw. “H-how?” I asked as he wore a diamond ring on my finger.

I didn’t know that he still had our wedding ring. I left it on his bedroom table before I left then, I thought he had thrown it away.

She quickly hugged Thunder while crying.

“Even though our first marriage didn’t go well Jewel but now I want to fix everything, I want us to be a whole family. You, me and our child. I know it’s not easy to forget the mistake I committed in the past but I will do everything for you to forgive me, not now but  I will wait at the right time, “he said while stroking the back of Jewel who was still crying.

“B-but how? I’ve already signed the annulment papers for a long time.” she said weakly while sobbing

“Who told you that I signed it? I didn’t sign the annulment papers your lawyer sent to me.”

“So t-that means, w-we are ..”

“We are married, we are still married Jewel.” It was Thunder who finished what she wanted to say.

After the conversation, the two of them went to sleep, because they were going to Jewel’s house the next morning.
