Chapter 105
"Don't move." Vincent reached out and rubbed her cheek gently with a finger. "There's dust on your cheek."
Before they'd eaten, Tiffany used her phone to take a photo of the food on the table. She was engrossed in finding the perfect angle and did not notice Vincent coming up behind her. "That's a pretty good photo."
Tiffany put her phone away guiltily. "You cook very well."
She was surprised to see Vincent cook because he always seemed to live a life far removed from the mundanities of daily life.
He could even use a wood-burning stove! Tiffany felt as if she had gotten to know a whole new Vincent.
After they ate, the two of them went to look around the area. By the time they drove back, it was already 4:00 pm.
Tiffany wanted to go to Teresa's to get dinner, so Vincent asked her for the address and drove over directly.Nôvel(D)rama.Org's content.
When they arrived, Tiffany unfastened her seatbelt. "Mr. Lewis, I'm going to go and get the food."
"Alright." Vincent wound down the car window to get some fresh air.
...
Tiffany reached the door to Teresa's home, but no one came to the door despite her repeated knocks. She took out her phone to call Teresa. "Hello, Tiff?"
"Teri, aren't you at home?"
"Oh, Eric and I are at the hospital." Teresa sounded apologetic. "I had to come and pick up some medicine at the hospital, so I brought Mrs. Lewis Senior's dinner too. I forgot to tell you."
"That's alright." Tiffany hung up. When she went back outside, she immediately spotted Brianna standing next to Vincent's car.
Brianna was saying something to Vincent through the car window. Vincent's eyes were lowered, and he didn't seem to be paying attention.
Tiffany's heart skipped a beat, and she walked over quickly. "Mr. Lewis." She interrupted their conversation.
Brianna turned to look at her, but immediately turned to go back into the building without saying a word.
Tiffany watched her leave, and for some unknown reason, she felt uneasy When she looked away, she saw Vincent watching her quietly. His eyes were deep and unreadable.

When she got back into the car, Tiffany said, "Teresa's already sent dinner over." "Okay." Vincent drove out of the neighborhood.
Tiffany felt that Vincent's attitude had cooled toward her, and the uneasiness in her heart grew stronger. She couldn't help asking, "Did Brianna... say anything to you?"
"No," Vincent replied impassively. He was suddenly reticent.
Tiffany did not ask further, but she felt rather nervous. Within a couple of minutes, her palms began sweating.
There was a red light up ahead, so Vincent stopped the car. He said slowly, "Tiffany."
"Huh?" Tiffany reacted strongly out of nervousness.
He looked at her, amused. "Why are you so nervous?"
"I'm not..."
"Are you afraid of Brianna?" Vincent wasn't an idiot. He could sense Tiffany's wariness toward Brianna, but she also seemed to fear her. "No," she replied.
Vincent looked intensely at her but did not say anything else.
The two of them drove to the
hospital. The moment they walked
in, they saw both Eric and Teresa.
Eric immediately came up to Vincent. "I've heard a lot about you, Mr Lewis."
Vincent's gaze swept over him. "Who's this?"
"I'm Tiffany's brother-in-law." Eric introduced himself. "I'm a sales executive at WS Corp. Pleased to meet you, Mr. Lewis."
