Chapter 354
As Tristan watched the three of them leave, his brows furrowed slightly. "Not even a thank you," he muttered before getting back into the car.
Inside the luxurious limousine sat an elderly man with a full head of white hair.
Exasperated, Archibald said, "You useless brat. They didn't get in the car, and you're not even trying to go after them? Don't you know what persistence is?"
He was deeply concerned about Tristan's marital status. When he'd overheard Tristan casually mention Zachary's note about finding someone to pretend to be his father, he'd insisted that Tristan attend the wedding.
He'd threatened that Tristan wouldn't live to see the next day if he didn't. Hence, Tristan had come to the rescue.
"Am I the type to be persistent?" Tristan retorted.
Archibald raised his cane, ready to strike. "I'm telling you, Kiki is the only woman I'll recognize as my granddaughter-in-law. You must marry her, by any means necessary."
After he'd met Kiki, he'd had someone look into her. He'd found that she had a clean background and hadn't been disheartened even after she'd lost her lawyer's license. Instead, she diligently worked at a regular job. Most importantly, he believed she could keep Tristan in check.
Even though Tristan didn't understand why Archibald was so taken with Kiki, he could only nod in agreement.
Meanwhile, Mark noticed that the matter had been resolved. So, he went to report back to Xavier.
At the house, Yvette and the others were still puzzled about Tristan's appearance at the wedding.
Kiki suddenly recalled how Zachary had said he'd find her a man better than Leonard. She turned to him and asked. "Zac, was Tristan the man you contacted?"
Zachary hurriedly shook his head. "Of course not."This text is © NôvelDrama/.Org.
"Then where is the man you found?" Kiki asked.
Zachary stammered, unable to answer.
Yvette grew increasingly curious as she listened to their conversation.
"Man? What are you talking about?" she asked.
Both Kiki and Zachary were too afraid to answer Yvette's question. However, under Yvette's stern gaze, they quickly confessed everything.
Upon hearing their explanation, Yvette finally realized that Zachary had gone to Sternhow Club, a place frequented by playboys, where Tristan often hung out.
"Tristan probably saw Zac when he went to Sternhow Club. That's how he got in the way," she said.
Then, she became serious. "Zac, Kiki, how could you two do something like this behind my back? What if you'd encountered a scammer?"
Kiki and Zachary could only listen silently; they didn't dare to make a sound. After all, Yvette could be quite intimidating when she was angry.
Kiki was deeply moved when she
recalled how Yvette had stood up for
her and fiercely confronted Olivia earlier. She hugged the latter around the waist. "Yvvy, what would do without you?"
Yvette had wanted to scold them more, but with Kiki hugging her like that, she couldn't bring herself to continue. "You dummy."
Friends were meant to help each other. She believed that if she were in trouble, Kiki would stand up for her the same way.
Seeing this, Zachary quickly lifted his head, imitating what he'd learned just a second ago. "Mom, I can't do without you either. I'll listen to you from now on."
Yvette's heart softened even more.
She couldn't bear to scold them
anymore. Seeing this, Zachary

That night, Yvette and Zachary stayed at Kiki's place.
Meanwhile, at Lane Mansion, Shannon had learned about the commotion at the wedding when she'd sent someone to congratulate Leonard.
"Are you saying Kiki took Zac there and claimed he was Tristan's son?"

was Leonard and Kiki's son.
But it didn't make sense. If Zachary were Tristan's or Leonard's son, why was his surname Snyder?
Mandy added, "Ms. Snyder was also there. She even slapped Mrs. Cook."
