True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 2229

Chapter 2229

"Sure. I'll ask Claudia to come over for dinner then," Sylvia replied immediately.

Sebastian had remained silent the whole time, but now he suddenly spoke.

"Mommy, you're in the later stages of your pregnancy, and your belly is already getting so big. It must be very tiring for you. Wouldn't it be even more tiring to host a guest at home?"

As he spoke, he shot Heinz a meaningful look.

Heinz's eyes gleamed as he looked at Sebastian. There was an unfathomable look in his eyes.

That boy. The minute Sebastian spoke, he went straight to the point. It was indeed tiring for Grace at the moment, and it would be difficult if something went wrong. Heinz thought to himself.

Heinz started to get nervous. Was it too rash of him to say that he wanted to invite Claudia over as a guest?

Although Sebastian said that for other reasons, he did have a point.Content property of NôvelDra/ma.Org.

After a moment of shock, Heinz looked toward Grace.

Grace was smiling, seeming unaffected by Sebastian's concerns at all. Instead, she said calmly, "Thank you for your concern, Sebastian. It's understandable that you would have your worries, but I think I shouldn't be overly careful. Otherwise, it wouldn't be good for the babies either."

Sebastian frowned. It seemed that Grace was determined to invite Claudia to dinner.

Sebastian looked at Heinz again and noticed that Heinz seemed to be hesitating. Then, he shifted his gaze to Sylvia.

Sylvia merely met his gaze and shrugged her shoulders.

That time, it was not her idea.

It was Grace's idea.

Sebastian looked away from Heinz and Sylvia, and his gaze finally fell on Grace.

Grace was still smiling. She looked at him and said, "Sebastian, you seem to have something on your mind recently. Look at you, you look so worrisome. I think you should have some fun and relax tomorrow."

"Mmm," Sebastian murmured, nodding. Then, he replied, "Well, it just so happens that I'm going out with a friend tomorrow."

Grace was stunned. She did not expect that he would try to get out of it.

It was clear that he was trying to avoid having dinner with Claudia.

Sebastian had only come up with that excuse because he did not want to see Claudia at all.

After composing herself slightly, Grace exchanged glances with Heinz.

Heinz asked, "Who are you going out with tomorrow, Sebastian?"

"A classmate of mine," Sebastian answered, unruffled. He did not intend to tell them who he was going out with.

Heinz looked at Grace. "Why don't you invite your classmate over as well then?" Grace suggested.

"There's no need for that," Sebastian answered with a smile. "We're going to the library, not out for fun."

"I see." Grace smiled and did not press it anymore. She turned to Sylvia and said, "Sylvia, since your brother can't join us tomorrow, then it'll just be the few of us. You can invite Claudia to come over for dinner. Our plans won't change."

"Okay," Sylvia replied. Although she senses that the atmosphere had changed, she still did not know what was actually happening. She just knew that it was important that she cooperate with her mother right then.

However, she still looked suspiciously at Sebastian, wondering what was going on with him.

"Mommy, you should take care of yourself tomorrow. Don't tire yourself out too much," Sebastian said as he ate quietly, looking very calm as if nothing had happened.

"Sure, don't worry. I'll be careful," Grace replied with a smile.

After dinner, Sebastian went upstairs to study.

After Heinz and Grace returned to their room, she immediately looked at him and said, "Did you perhaps worry too much? I feel like there's nothing different about Sebastian."

"Wrong," Heinz replied resolutely. In fact, he was even more convinced of his hunch. "It's the weirdest thing that he wants to go out."

"Really?" Grace frowned, puzzled. "I don't think it's weird at all."

"He's avoiding it," Heinz pointed out.

"But, since he's avoiding meeting her, what can we possibly find out?" Grace was worried that it would be useless for them to invite Claudia over as it would not reveal what they wanted to know.

"Don't worry," Heinz said. "We'll just act according to the circumstances tomorrow."

"I still think that you're thinking too much," Grace insisted. "Even if Sylvia invited Claudia over, we don't know if Claudia is willing to come or not. What if she has something else to do and can't come?"

"Let's wait and see," Heinz answered.

Grace's guess was right.

Claudia was not available for dinner.

When Sylvia called to invite her, Claudia was very flattered, but she also felt very sorry. "I have to move tomorrow. 'just rented an

apartment, so I have to si

I the

contract tomorrow, move in, contact the landlord, meet up with the property agent, and also buy some necessities. I'm afraid that I can't go to your place."

Sylvia was also surprised. "Are you that busy? Can't you do it another day?"

"I've already made the appointments. If I were to cancel it, I'd have to cancel with a few of them. And it wouldn't be nice for me to do so," Claudia replied, sighing.

"You're right. Then I'll tell my mom about it," Sylvia said. "How about you come over another day then?"

Claudia chuckled. "Will your parents

be free if it's another day? Wouldz

they be mad at me? Would they think that I'm not being considerate? They invited me to go over, yet I rejected their invite." Content

"Of course not." Sylvia laughed and said, "My parents are very reasonable people. Don't worry about it. Let me ask them to see if they can change the date."

"All right. I'll wait for your call then," replied Claudia.

After hanging up the phone, Sylvia immediately went to her parents' rooms and told them the news.

After hearing that, Grace immediately looked at Heinz.

Heinz's eyes sparkled, and he smiled meaningfully.

"That's good. In that case, we can invite Claudia over another day. Can you ask her to come the day after tomorrow?"

Stunned, Sylvia could not help asking, "Dad, why do I get the feeling that it's you who wants to invite Claudia over?"

Heinz looked at Sylvia. "Isn't Claudia your friend? I think she seems to have quite a good relationship with you. Can't I even invite your friend over?"

"I can go out with Claudia to have fun," Sylvia replied. "There's no need to insist on inviting her over."

"We're worried about you going out," Heinz answered in a low voice.

Sylvia was speechless for a moment. It did seem like a valid reason.

She looked at Grace, who just smiled gently.

Sylvia stuck out her tongue and said, "What's there for you to worry about? You're just being strange."

Heinz did not say anything. He merely looked at Sylvia, then at Grace.

Grace said, "Sylvia, you should let Claudia know about it. We can reschedule it to the day after."

"Oh, okay, Mom." Sylvia nodded. Just as Sylvia was about to leave, Grace called out to her.

"Sylvia, about the change of date, don't tell

Sebastian about it."
