True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 2220

Chapter 2220

The two of them spent a wonderful and quiet afternoon together. When it was one o'clock, Kendrix looked at his watch and told Sylvia, "Our time is up, it is time to go. I will send you back. At the same time, we can bring these two lunch boxes back."

"Oh," It was obvious that Sylvia was reluctant to leave. She did not expect time to pass so quickly. It was already 1 o'clock.Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

Seeing how reluctant she was when it came to going back, Kendrix was amused and a little helpless. How could he bear to let her leave?

However, no matter how reluctant they were, he still needed to send her back.

He couldn't just do things without thinking it through.

Kendrix also needed to plan for their future.

It was obvious that Mrs. Jones was testing him.

Kendrix did not want this to be a short-term relationship. He wanted a long future with her. He wanted to hold her hand and walk the path of life together until the very end.

Therefore, he could not be shortsighted.

They packed their things. After that, they stood at the door with two big lunch boxes in his hands. Sylvia was lowering her head at the door, and it seemed like she was deep in thought.

He waited for her patiently too. After giving it some thought, she suddenly turned around. Then, she stood on tiptoe and hooked her arms around his neck. She quickly sealed his lips with hers.

With that, the box in Kendrix's hands fell to the ground.

At that moment, it felt as though some explosive emotions were triggered. Kendrix completely ignored the boxes that had fallen to the ground.

He returned the hug and placed her on top of the shoe cab in the main entrance of the house. The minute he did so, he could no longer control himself.

As they were about to leave, the feeling of separation between the two of them started to grow, and they felt a sense of melancholy and reluctance. Moreover, men were unwilling to be passive in some aspects. How could he let her take the initiative?

Of course he needed to take back control.

After he kissed her for a while, Kendrix restrained himself. He did not go on.

His forehead was pressing against hers, and he gasped as he looked at her beautiful face. He whispered, "It's time to go."

"Okay," Sylvia was so embarrassed that she felt her soul leaving her. She was afraid that she would not have any strength left to stand up.

Luckily, Kendrix was considerate enough to pick her up.

After he made sure that she was safe, he let go of her before picking up the things on the ground by himself.

Kendrix did not open the door until he had finished packing everything. Only after that did the two of them go out together.

When they reached his car, Kendrix opened the front passenger seat and allowed Sylvia to get into the car first. Then, he proceeded to put away the things in his hands.

Sylvia looked around carefully to see if there were people who were paying attention to them.

Fortunately, the celebrations for the New Year had just ended. There were not that many people on campus at the moment.

She sat in the car and watched the man open the door calmly.

When she thought of the passionate kiss they shared before they headed out, she felt embarrassed.

She did not expect Kendrix to have such a dominant side. However, this also made her feel happy because from his actions, she could tell that he really liked her.

On the way home, Kendrix drove slowly.

In the Jones family.

After Heinz came back for lunch, he accompanied his wife and sat down. When he did not see Sylvia, he frowned and asked, "Where is Sylvia?" Grace was startled. She looked at Heinz and spoke in a slow manner, "Sylvia is hanging out with her friends."

"The New Year celebration is not completely over yet, so who is she hanging out with?" Heinz immediately looked at Grace with suspicion.

"She hasn't even left the house ever

since the holidays started. She has been studying at home all this while. Yesterday, after sending Lowell, Celeste, and the others off, she

thought about going out, and so she did today. It is normal." Content

"Didn't she go out yesterday? Why did she go out again today? It doesn't look that normal to me," Heinz said as he glanced at Sebastian suspiciously, "Sebastian, who did you two eat with the day before?"

Sebastian looked at Heinz, his expression calm and indifferent. He asked calmly, "Why are you so worried about Sylvia?"

"Should I be relaxed then?" Heinz did not answer directly.

"I am just a little curious. When Sylvia was at home, you did not seem to pay that much attention to her. Why are you so nervous when she is not around?" Sebastian shot back.

Grace looked towards Sebastian. It seemed like he was the only one who was having dinner with them.

Ever since Gary and the others left, the house had indeed gotten a lot more deserted. As for Ernest, he had already gone out to accompany Leah too.

As of now, Sebastian was the only one left at home. However, when Grace looked at Sebastian, she felt that he seemed to be very absent-minded. She did not know what was weighing on his mind.

Judging from his current tone while he was talking to his father, it seemed like he was defending Sylvia.

Grace heaved a sigh of relief.

Even though they usually had quarrels with each other, the two of them still had a great relationship and had a mutual understanding on some affairs. "She will be back in the evening," Grace interjected, "I just called her, and she said that she will be back in the evening. There is no need to worry so much."

"Who on earth did she go out with?" Heinz asked again.

"I don't know," Grace said bluntly, "I did not ask her."

"How could you not ask? Do you really trust her that much?" Heinz felt a little worried.

Grace looked at her husband and said, "Why should I ask? She's already grown up, so shouldn't we be giving her some private space?"

"I am not saying that she can't have her own private space, I just thought that you should have asked," Heinz's tone turned softer after he heard his wife's unhappy tone. He was afraid that the fetus would be hurt if she continued to be angry.

After noticing her husband's tone turning calmer, she did not hide it anymore and lied, "She went out with Claudia, you have met Claudia before."

Heinz was stunned and nodded, "Yes, that's true. She is quite a lively person."

"Mom, dad, I am full," Just then, Sebastian suddenly stood up, "You two can continue eating. I will go upstairs to study first."

The two of them looked at Sebastian in shock.

Grace knew that he had not eaten much and advised, "Sebastian, you haven't even eaten that much. You are still going through puberty, and you should eat more. How will you maintain a healthy body like this?"

"I am full," Sebastian still insisted on not eating, "I will be going upstairs first."

"Fine, go ahead," Grace could only nod. However, she was sure that her son was acting abnormally.

The problem had already gotten so serious that it was affecting his appetite.

Sebastian quickly headed upstairs.

Heinz frowned as he observed Sebastian's behaviour. He narrowed his eyes and sized Sebastian up. Then, a flash of light appeared in his eyes as he seemed to realize something.

"What are you looking at?" Grace glanced at Heinz and asked.

"It's nothing," Heinz did not want his wife to be worried. Nevertheless, he could tell that something strange had happened between Sebastian and

Claudia.

The minute they mentioned Claudia, Sebastian started to act abnormally. He'd even stopped eating. It was quite peculiar.
