True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 2197

Chapter 2197

"Okay. I didn't expect you to agree to help me anyways," Claudia said with a smile. Her tone was slightly sarcastic when she continued, "After all, you're a weak minor. You might not have the strength to help me."

Sebastian had already expected her to say so. He replied nonchalantly, "True. I am weak. I'm not like you Madam Loris. I don't have the strength of an ox or of someone who's much older than me."

Claudia frowned, not expecting him to say that she was as strong as an ox. However, she wasn't mad as she stared at him before flashing him a grin, "Well, it's better to be strong than weak. There's a blurry line between a man and a woman nowadays. I think you should work out more if you don't want people to be confused about your gender."

D*mn it.

Sebastian was furious at her for making fun of him on purpose.

He had good looks, but he was by no means weak.

Furthermore, he was well-trained. It was not that she had not fought against him before, so why was she satirizing him like this?

It seemed that there was a feud between them.

Chigo noticed something, so he smiled and suggested, "Sebastian, how about this? You can help her with her luggage and I'll just leave ahead of you."

"Chigo?" Sebastian looked at him.

Chigo smiled and patted him on the shoulder, muttering, "Go ahead now."

With that, Sebastian could only turn and leave.

Similarly, Claudia smiled at Chigo and followed suit.

Chigo nodded at them and left.

Claudia had to give it to Chigo when she saw him leaving in the opposite direction. He was truly a man with quite a sense of propriety.

Even if he liked Sylvia very much, he would not pester her nor force her to accept him.

It was rare to see a man who knew when to stop.

However, she was still worried about her cousin.

She followed Sebastian with her head lowered as she walked forward, not saying a word.

Hearing nothing from her, Sebastian turned around to check on her. He was surprised to see her staring at the ground.

However, she had always been eccentric and thick-skinned. Who cared about what she was thinking?

Just then, Claudia caught him looking at her just as he was about to turn away.

"Why are you looking at me?" She asked directly.

Sebastian was taken aback once more. His brows furrowed in displeasure as he retorted, "How do you know I'm looking at you if you weren't looking at me?"

"Pfft!" She let out a laugh.

Her sudden laughter made his ears turn red from anger.

"Sebastian, your eyes are on me, so who were you looking at if not me?" Claudia giggled, "I don't mind you looking, so why are you mad?"

"Who's mad?" Sebastian was reluctant to admit it.

A smile crept to Claudia's lips as she echoed, "That's true. I wonder who's mad now."

There was no sarcasm in her eyes.

Sebastian, on the other hand, felt extremely awkward.

He strode forward and never looked back at her again.

Behind him, Claudia kept teasing, "Admit it. You

like me, but you're too embarrassed to admit it."

D*mn woman.

Sebastian quickened his pace as he shuffled forward. He didn't want to have anything to do with the woman behind him.

Claudia also quickened her pace and caught up with him.

Soon, they exited the night market and arrived at some old memorial- style buildings. Claudia hurriedly grabbed Sebastian to stop him. He was shocked and almost jumped out of his skin. Then, he swung his arm, wanting to get rid of her.

However, she held onto his wrist tightly, not giving him the chance to break free.

Claudia pushed Sebastian towards a wall, pinning him down.

He frowned as he looked at her.

He was shocked to see her clear gaze while she was trying to figure out the emotions in his eyes.

Yet almost instantly, Sebastian masked his initial shock and remained calm. Claudia was no longer able to see through his fagade.

She was defeated. She wanted to ask Sebastian if he liked her, but it seemed that she was stunned and couldn't react the moment she looked straight

at him.

Claudia had seen many handsome young men with well-defined features, but she had never seen such one as pretty as him.

She admitted that she was drawn to his looks.

She fell in love with someone who was six years younger than her at first sight.

Claudia really hated herself as this wasn't what she expected to happen.

But what could she do? She couldn't control her feelings, and so she ended up falling for him.

That was how she liked him.

Although Sebastian was only sixteen years old, he was already very handsome.

She looked at him and her heart started pounding. Her face was flushed and she quickly turned away in an effort to calm herself down.

After regaining her composure, Claudia asked, "Why are you always uncomfortable when you see me?"

Sebastian didn't expect her to ask him such a question. His heart raced.

In fact, he should be shoving Claudia away after she pinned him onto the wall.

However, he didn't.

He forgot to react.

He was disappointed in himself now that he thought about it.

"Let me go," Sebastian chose not to answer her question. He just muttered coldly.

Claudia was not angry. Instead, she laughed, "Is it really that hard to admit that you like me?"

"How can I fall in love with an older woman like you?" Sebastian grunted.

As he spoke, his blush spread to his ears and neck.

Claudia's eyes deepened as she looked at him. Sebastian's reddened neck and Adam's apple were even more alluring now.

"Alright. So you don't like me," She smiled after a while before suggesting, "How about I take back saying I like you?"

Sebastian was stunned.

He stared at her with eyes filled with astonishment.

"I've thought about it. I don't think we should joke about having romantic feelings. After all, I'm not a good

match for you anyways," Claudiet

chuckled as she stared into his eyes. She knew she had gone too far and frightened him.

Therefore, she chose to take a step back in order to advance their relationship.

She had to make their relationship seem more normal so he wouldn't be on edge the moment he saw her.

Sebastian's brows furrowed as suspicion flashed in his eyes.

Claudia was smiling perfectly. However, Sebastian had no way of telling what sort of emotions were brewing beneath her eyes.

Her smile was alluring and seductive, simple yet astonishingly beautiful.

"I have been doing lots of thinking

during this holiday. I think I may have frightened you by taking this joke too far. We're not from the same world, so how could there be a future for us together? That's why you don't have to worry anymore. I'll stop liking you from now on."
