True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 2168

Chapter 2168

Sylvia's face grew paler as she smiled wryly once again; blood drained completely from her face. Tears began pooling in her eyes, rendering them misty, looking absolutely entrancing.

The sight would probably turn any man on.

As frustration surged within his bloodshot eyes, Kendrix said coldly, looking at the girl's ashen face, "You want to be a two-timer, huh? You sure are a spoiled lady from a wealthy family."

His tone was full of mockery.

"Kendrix, don't you think you're judging the book by its cover? How can you jump to the conclusion without even asking me what happened?"

"Is there even a need?" Kendrix retorted. "You've already thrown yourself at that man. Do I need to say anything more?"

Stupefied, that car from earlier popped up in her head.

The car that had whizzed past them when Chigo was hugging her.

It was only then that she realized the driver might be Kendrix.

He had seen Chigo embracing her, and it accounted for his current behavior and assumption, which caused him to look askance at her.

Huh!

No wonder.

In that case, she was really the reason Kendrix had been boozing.

Having that idea in mind, the bitterness within her vanished at once. She felt much relieved and much better.

She even felt a touch of pride and joy. If Kendrix really imbibed to drown his sorrows because he was mad at her, it demonstrated that he was into her.

It was precisely because she had caught his fancy that he was furious.

She could assume it was a sign of jealousy, couldn't she?

"If you're that driver, I want to say that you've assumed wrong. I didn't throw myself at anyone."

"I saw it with my very own eyes. Are you trying to deny it?" Kendrix growled.

Reeled, Sylvia said, "You, you really saw it? You really are the driver?!"

Taken aback by her surprised tone, only then did

Kendrix realize what he had said.

Turning his face away instantly, he no longer wanted to make eye contact with the girl in front of him, even more so for her to read his thoughts.

He said solemnly, "Whatever you do has nothing to do with me. It's your choice who you want to hug."

"But I want to hug you," Sylvia blurted out.

Shocked at what she had just said, Sylvia blushed in an instant, reddening her ears and neck.

She was mortified.

However, she thought she had to put up a brave front in this situation. If she didn't make her feelings clear right then, Kendrix might get angrier. Kendrix barely wore his heart on his sleeves, so she couldn't let this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity slip through her fingers.

Gathering her courage, Sylvia looked into his eyes seriously.

Kendrix was shocked.

It probably never occurred to him that this girl would react so courageously.

His frustration grew as he gawked at the girl; various indescribable emotions surged deep within his bloodshot eyes.

Sylvia was afraid he didn't hear her words, or the wine might have fuddled him and caused him to take no notice of her words.

Therefore, this time, she said word by word, "I want to hug you, not anyone but you."

This time, she repeated it while gazing into the man's eyes. Each word of hers conveyed clearly to his ears.

Frowning, Kendrix pulled on her over out of the blue and sat her on his lap.

Stunned momentarily, Sylvia fixed her eyes on him in spite of her reddened face.

It reeled her that Kendrix would do something this aggressive.

She had no idea what Kendrix was thinking, but she thought it wasn't bad to have a glass or two sometimes.

It wasn't that she thought Kendrix might harm her; she believed he wouldn't really.

Even if he dragged her onto his lap, he wouldn't do anything else.

But, oh, how wrong she was.

The man stretched out his hand and held her chin with his slender fingers.

She could feel the caress of his alcoholic breath on her cheeks. "Do you think I don't dare?"

Pouting, Sylvia nodded and stared at the man in front of her with her big innocent eyes. "I think you don't."

Looking at her red lips, fair face, and beautiful beady eyes, Kendrix couldn't hold back any longer and kissed her lips. "Mmph!"

As his lips touched hers, his warm breath and the aroma of the wine put her in a trance.

As soon as her voice came out, she could feel the man tense up.

What was more, he extended his tongue into her mouth brazenly.

This was definitely no a-peck-on-the-lips, but a hot French kiss.

Nor was it one of gentleness, kissing a girl.

But a man's most primitive passion toward a woman.

Sylvia had also sensed the potential danger rousing from his sexual excitement.

And that danger got her rather panicked.

Nevertheless, she didn't push him away but wrapped her arms around his neck instead.

The man's body stiffened again, breathing heavily as he kissed her.

Finally, they separated.

Sylvia's whole body went limp, nestling in his arms as her mind went utterly blank.

She looked dazedly at the man before her.

Her obsidian-like bright eyes blinked before him, looking utterly stunning.

Kendrix's eyes overflowed with the desire to have her as he stared at her breathlessly, heaving.

But he was now more clear-headed, suddenly bringing himself to her, cuddling as he nestled his face on her neck.

He no longer gazed into the girl's eyes again because her big bright black eyes were as pure and brilliant as the driven snow, not a speck of impurity.

Looking at them only made him feel ashamed of himself.

Feeling his breath brushing her ear, she heard him whisper, "Don't date another man."

Sylvia's mind went blank for a second. Feeling the hotness around her ear, she could not help but nod.

She cracked a smile.

She was in seventh heaven, feeling a tide of exhilaration rising in her. She couldn't believe she managed to hear his love confession.

Or perhaps this couldn't count.

She couldn't let such a perfect opportunity slip, wanting to make sure she heard him say he liked her.

"Why?" Sylvia couldn't help asking with a grin on her face.

Kendrix blurted without much deliberation, "Because I don't allow it."

"So what if you don't allow it?" Sylvia asked back provocatively. "Who are you to me?"

Stumped, the man narrowed his eyes, looking a little irritated, but he was in no hurry to speak.

He tightened his hug, giving her an indirect answer.

At least, Sylvia reckoned so.

However, how could she give up such an excellent chance? She, of course, had to press for answers.

"What did you do to me just now?" Sylvia asked again.

Kendrix froze once again.

"And what are you trying to do, holding me like this?"

Kendrix pondered for quite a while before answering, "This is your punishment for provoking me."

"Is that all?" Sylvia wasn't going to stop until she finally heard the answer she wanted.

Kendrix frowned.

The taste of those sweet lips still lingered and flooded his mind with carnal desires.

But, his remaining sanity reminded him he shouldn't.

She was still too young.

He wouldn't have succumbed to his desires if she hadn't come at him so aggressively.

He had repeatedly crossed his boundaries and done a lot of outrageous things.

And now, he had no choice but to face her pressing question.

Because he knew if he failed to handle this matter adroitly, this girl might end up being someone else's.

For instance, the guy from earlier posed a great threat to him.

He was a strong competitor.

If he didn't at least tell her his feelings, she truly might slip away from his hands.

Kendrix did not want to lose her.

That was why he kissed her, and he did not regret

The only thing that troubled him was that he didn't want to stop there but continue their kiss.

Nor did he ever want to release her from their hug.

With her soft body in his arms, he was gratified.

It was as if his broken life had become perfect because of her little body.

This was the first time he felt a sense of happiness in over a decade.

"Since you've seduced me, you have to take responsibility for your actions," Kendrix said again.

"What?" Flummoxed, Sylvia suddenly sat up and gazed into his eyes. "Did you just say you want to hold me accountable?

As they locked eyes, Kendrix didn't dare look straight into hers, feeling as though he was committing a crime.

"You were the one who kissed me; shouldn't you be held accountable?" Sylvia said, "That was my first kiss."

It was just as much his.

It was also his first time kissing a girl.

Not wanting to waste time, Kendrix said, "Alright, I'll be responsible for it."

"You-" Blinking, Sylvia could not

believe her ears. She asked uncertainly, "Do you mean you want

to be my boyfriend?" "Yes." Kendrix answered seriously, "Your one and only."

Sylvia was astounded.

Tears started pooling in her eyes, overjoyed. This was once her fantasy; never had she thought it would realize so soon.

Still finding his love for her unbelievable, she couldn't help confirming, "You really want to be my boyfriend?"

Kendrix lowered his head to look at her, wondering why her previous confidence had gone out of the window.

"Don't you want to be my girlfriend?"

"But I thought you wanted to be my teacher." Sylvia didn't let this fact slip her mind. "You're still my teacher at present."

Hearing that, the man stiffened, sulking.

Sulking, he couldn't believe she was ruining the parade.

He had already forgotten he was still a teacher.

Yet, she brought it up.

Perceiving the pucker between the

man's eyebrows, Sylvia managed to apprehend his feelings and said instantly don't want to bring this matter up either, but it's an indisputable fact. I just want to know

if you'll still admit that you're my boyfriend tomorrow. Or, you won't admit it after you become sober?"

"I'm not drunk," Kendrix answered solemnly.

"Really?" There were sparkles in Sylvia's eyes.

"Really."

"So that means you were in your right mind when you kissed me just now, right?"NôvelD(ram)a.ôrg owns this content.

Sylvia blushed, blinking as a hint of slyness flitted across her eyes. "So that means we're going steady?"

"Yes." Kendrix said, "But we have to make a pact."

"A pact?" Sylvia furrowed her brows, having a feeling that they would restrict her rights and liberties.

"Yes, it's a must." Kendrix replied, "You can take that they're for your own good."
