True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 2137

Chapter 2137

At that point, Sylvia could only admit that she really had fallen for Kendrix.

She was once the beautiful girl with pride, but she was nothing like that anymore.

She only felt helpless and sad then.

She felt that she was indeed a girl still, that she would neglect everything altogether once she fell in love.

When she heard from Claudia that Kendrix seemed depressed, she couldn't help but to worry for him still, and her heart ached for him.

However, she did not speak. She just lowered her head, and did not look up for a long time.

Her long and thick eyelashes were hiding the thoughts in her eyes.

Claudia was a little surprised to see her reacting like that. She initially thought that Sylvia would be really worried when she heard about that, yet she didn't.

She was still calm as always.

However, since they were both girls, Claudia could see that Sylvia still wasn't over it.

She sighed and said, "So, you can be rest assured that he is yours and no one will be able to snatch him away. As for why there was such a bad ending that day, I suppose that he was thinking for you, that was why he did that on purpose."

"Claudia." Sylvia raised her chin and looked right into Claudia's eyes. "I know. I'm fine, don't worry."

"Are you really okay?"

"I'm really okay." Sylvia just smiled. "Thanks for telling me."

"I thought you would want to see him quite badly after hearing it." Claudia also smiled. "Seeing that you're not giving much of a reaction, it makes me a little surprised. At the same time, I suppose that you've grown up, and it's a good thing."

"I have indeed grown up," Sylvia said, "I can't be like how I was before."

It didn't feel too right for what she had done.

She knew very well that Kendrix was in a difficult situation as well.

He was a teacher in the school, and she was an underage student. Those were obstacles that stopped them from being together.

She was too anxious when she confessed her love for him previously.

Actually, she shouldn't be expressing her love so early, or else it would be herself who would get hurt, and it would also bring him more troubles. If she didn't say anything, perhaps they would still stay as student and teacher then, and at least their relationship could still be normal. However, things were just awkward between the both of them then since she had spoken her mind so freely.

There was no turning back for the both of them.

It was her who was immature back then and took the wrong steps.

She had to take control of the situation then.

Otherwise, she knew that the love she wanted wouldn't be hers, and Kendrix wouldn't be hers either.

"I'm very surprised that you're being so calm," Claudia said once again, sounding rather genuine. "You've changed a lot. Anyways, it's a good kind of change."

"I was forced to changed," Sylvia said, "I now roughly understand what the grown ups mean when they say that accepting hardships and challenges in life isn't a bad thing. I suppose that it's just a new start instead of hardship. To me, it's lessons and growths."

"Lessons and growths?" Claudia looked at her in astonishment. "You're actually using these words." "Isn't life just about learning and growing?" Sylvia smiled, "I think it's the best way to describe it."

"That's right." Claudia nodded. "Right, how is Sebastian doing these days?"

"Sebastian is still in the villa on the mountain," Sylvia said, "You might not know, but he is a really smart student. He always gets good grades in his studies, and he knows how to manage his time very well. He's been topping his classes throughout the years. If it wasn't because he did less well on purpose this round, I wouldn't have gotten the first place."

"Why do you have to depreciate yourself like that?" Claudia said, "Even if you got the second place, it's already impressive enough."

"Yes." Sylvia chuckled. "I think so too."

The two girls chuckled as they chatted.

"I can't believe that Sebastian has been staying in the villa on the mountain all these while. However, I don't think he's there just because it's quiet. He's probably just afraid that I'll stay in your house and not leave, so he's hiding there." Claudia smiled and said, "I'm really scary, huh? I made him feel so scared of me. Anyway, I'm going to leave today, so you can let him know after I leave, and I won't bother him anymore." "Have you not added him in your WhatsApp yet?"

Sylvia asked.

"Yes, I did," Claudia said, "But, he did not accept my request."

"Pfft!" Sylvia couldn't help laughing. "I didn't expect that there would be a day when you get rejected. Did you keep trying to add him?" "What's the point of doing so?" Claudia shook her head. "Although I have to admit that I can manage my emotions well, and that my face is as thick as a wall, I'd better not do something so lame."

"This isn't like you," Sylvia said. "Are you really going to give up just like that? Aren't you going to add him on WhatsApp?"

"No," Claudia said.

"Are you sure you can endure it?" Sylvia raised her brows.

"Why can't I? Besides, I have you as my back up, don't I?" Claudia laughed. "With you helping me at the back, would it be even difficult for me to get news about Sebastian?"

"You're right." Sylvia laughed. "So, that's what you're thinking. Don't worry, I'll take care of him for you."

"With you around, I am not worried

at all." Claudia smiled as well. "I can rest assured since you will be helping me watch him grow up.

Furthermore, he's only 16 now

he's still young. I'll wait till he's 18 before I make my move, at least by then I wouldn't feel as guilty."

"Are you serious about this?" Sylvia asked again.

"Of course." Claudia nodded seriously. "Why are you doubting my sincerity?"

"I just feel that it's a little against common sense, so I just don't quite seem to believe it," Sylvia replied.

"I'll tell you very seriously again, I am being serious about this."

"All right then." Sylvia smiled. "I got it, my sister-in-law."

"Don't call me your sister-in-law yet, just in case I might fail."

"Are you not confident in yourself?" Sylvia asked.

"It's not that I don't have confidence

I

in myself. I just think that it's not

easy to deal with your brother. What if he wouldn't fall in love with me no matter what I do? Then, I'd just be wasting my time," Claudia said,

stating everything matter of factly.

"No matter what, I'll keep an eye on him for you. For certain things, you have to work hard to know its end results."

In fact, those words were said more for herself than for Claudia.Nôvel(D)rama.Org's content.

Claudia nodded. "Let's just do our best and leave the rest to fate."

"By the way," Sylvia asked, "When is the next time you're coming back to Northern City?"

"I have no idea," Claudia said. "We will meet if fate allows us to."

"I'll miss you," Sylvia said. "Do you want to meet Sebastian again before you leave?"

"Yes, I'll go see him by myself." Claudia had some plans in mind. "I'll go up the mountain after I finish this dessert."

"Will you go by yourself?" Sylvia blinked in surprise. She didn't expect that Sylvia would be so brave.

"That's right, is there a problem for me to go by myself?" Claudia smiled and said, "I'll go bid him adieu and make him remember me more. I suppose that he wouldn't be able to forget me for a long time."

"Sebastian has such good memory. How could he possibly forget you?"
