True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 2105

Chapter 2105

When Gary saw Sylvia, he gave Ernest a look and said, "I'll head upstairs first. I'll leave Sylvia to you guys." "I'll treat your wounds for you later." Ernest was still worried about Gary's injuries.

"There's no need for that." Gary went upstairs without looking back.

He did take a look at Sylvia when he passed by her.

And she noticed it.

She was stunned when she saw the injury on his face. Worried, she asked, "What happened to your face?"

"It's nothing. We brought you some good news. Be brave and head downstairs," he said gently.

She was stunned again, but she quickly understood what he meant.

"Did you guys go looking for Mr. Trevino?"

A smile flashed in his eyes, proud that she was smart enough to catch on, even if she had been in a trance.

Without replying, Gary went straight upstairs.

Sylvia looked at Claudia, who was smiling at her.

An indescribable feeling arose in her heart, and an idea surfaced in her mind.Nôvel/Dr(a)ma.Org - Content owner.

Stunned, she walked toward Claudia.

Claudia said with a smile, "Are you surprised to see me?"

Sylvia fixed her eyes on Claudia before glancing at the luggage beside her.

Sylvia asked uncertainly, "You aren't Mr. Trevino's girlfriend?"

Claudia smiled and replied, "Not bad. I didn't expect you to be so observant at this point."

Sylvia was stunned again.

Then, her eyes lit up.

Her face was glowing.

"You really aren't his girlfriend?" she repeated her question. That time, she sounded more joyous.

"Kendrix is my cousin. We're related by blood," Claudia explained briefly.

Sylvia blinked her eyes regretfully.

Claudia laughed as she tilted her head. "So you don't have to be hostile to me anymore. I came to bring you good news. And because of this, Kendrix kicked me out."

"He kicked you out?" Sylvia was so shocked that she did not know how to react.

It was too much for her to process right then.

It was like she had been on an emotional rollercoaster the whole time. One moment, she was in the clouds, and the next, she was down in the dumps. She felt a little overwhelmed.

But now, she was delighted to hear the news.

All the despair she was feeling dissipated and was replaced by hope.

"That's right. So, please take me in," said Claudia.

"No problem! I'm happy to have you stay the night." Sylvia nodded.

Claudia laughed.

Hearing their conversation, Leah was a little surprised at first, but then she immediately relaxed.

She glanced at Ernest, who was staring at her.

They looked at each other without saying anything and went upstairs quietly.

Sebastian was also ready to go up to his room to rest.

However, as soon as he took a step, Claudia shouted, "Hey, kid. You can't go upstairs just yet. Help me take my luggage upstairs."

He looked back at her as if he did not hear anything and turned to leave.

The suitcase was still beside her, having not moved an inch.

She pouted as she watched him leave, furious.

Sylvia found it weird. Confused, she looked at Claudia and then at Sebastian, who was walking away.

What the hell was going on? Sylvia wondered.

"Are you a man? What's wrong with helping me with my luggage?" Claudia could not help but ask.

Sebastian did not even turn his head and disappeared upstairs.

Sylvia was still confused. The Sebastian she knew would not have refused to help Claudia.

That must mean that Claudia had offended him in some way.

"Don't worry. I'll ask the butler to help you. You can sleep in my room," Sylvia piped up.

Claudia was stunned. She looked at Sylvia and said, "Huh? But we aren't familiar with each other. Aren't you afraid of me at all?"

"Why should be?" Sylvia threw the

you? Claudia looked at Syll.ne

and

"Of course I'm hospitable. Besides, I know you can't be lying. My brothers would have done their research

already. Plus, Kendrix is an

investigator. I'm not afraid atall,"

Sylvia explained.

Claudia smiled. "From your analysis, it looks like you're very passionate about becoming an investigator."

"What do you think? Do I have the talent for it?" Sylvia raised her eyebrow.

"Hmm, you're not bad." Claudia nodded.

Sylvia smiled, turned to look at the butler, and ordered, "Help to bring the luggage upstairs and prepare an extra bed."

"Yes, Miss Sylvia." The butler went upstairs with the luggage immediately.

Sylvia then took Claudia's arm and led her upstairs excitedly.

After entering Sylvia's room, Claudia exclaimed, "You have such a nice room! It's like you're living like a princess in a castle!"

The whole room was decorated to suit the taste of a young girl.

Claudia could not help but sigh at the life of being born with a silver spoon.

"Make yourself at home," Sylvia said.

Claudia sat down on a chair and looked at Sylvia with a smile. "You want to know what's going on, right?"

Sylvia smiled embarrassedly and nodded. "Since you've seen through me, I have nothing to hide. Tell me, what's going on? Why would Mr. Trevino ask you to act as his girlfriend?"

Claudia smiled smugly and

answered, "He has fallen in love with

you. But know him very well. He's a gentleman through and through. What's more, he's too uptight from his upbringing and his job in the potice force. That's why he couldn't accept himself falling for a student."

"Is it truly because of this?" Sylvia asked, blinking her eyes. "But he isn't a permanent teacher at our school, and he'll only be here for a few months."

"But you're a minor," Claudia said as she shrugged. "That is the crux of the problem."

Sylvia knew that with Kendrix's personality, he could not possibly have any desire for a minor.

Even if he did, he would not admit it for sure.
