Lowell only understood half of what was going on after they spoke on the phone, so he asked Heinz, "Did Janice ask these reporters to come here?" "If not her, who would it be?" Gary asked in an agitated tone.

"If Janice says that she's my girlfriend now, the media won't believe it."

Gary nodded. "I feel like that way too. I feel like she wants to push me to the brink and make me into the bad guy. Most importantly, she wants Celeste and I to be completely estranged."

Heinz frowned.
