True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 2076

Chapter 2076

Janice turned around in shock. A hint of fear flashed across her eyes, but she pursed her lips and stubbornly watched Gary enter.

Heinz wasn't surprised to see Gary. Frankly, Heinz expected Gary to come.

Gary strode up to Janice and looked down at her. There was no sympathy in his eyes.

Instead, there was contempt and utter disgust.

His eyes were filled with rage as he suddenly grabbed Janice by the neck.

Fear flickered in Janice's eyes as she was hoisted up.

Gary spoke very slowly, enunciating each word. "You think too highly of yourself. Who are you? Do you think you deserve to be my girlfriend?"

"You promised me." Janice forced out her words. "You promised to be my boyfriend in Boston, but you went back on your word."

"You resorted to underhanded means, why must I keep my promise to you then, hm?" Gary sneered. "Why should I keep my promise to you? Who do you think you are?"

"If you didn't promise me, then Lowell would be in prison now." Janice stared at Gary steadily.

Gary only became angrier after she mentioned Lowell. "You still want to bring him up? Haven't you used him enough? You're vile, Janice."

"I don't think I used him." Janice remained stubborn as she was sure that Gary wouldn't kill her in front of Heinz. She wanted to make sure that Heinz heard every word she had to say.

"Why are you still so stubborn?" Gary roared.

"I'm not!" Janice shouted back.

After that, Gary's grip on her neck tightened and she couldn't breathe or speak.

She turned to Heinz in anticipation of him stopping Gary.

Alas, Heinz pretended to not see her at all.

He simply shrugged and said to Gary, "Two members of the Jones family have already been deceived by you, Miss Simpson. Looks like you're not any ordinary person."

"Playing dirty is not a display of ability at all." Gary scoffed.

"Of course it is. Do you think everyone can do this?" Heinz smiled. "Just kill her, Gary. At least Lowell will stay away from this kind of woman. If you get a good lawyer, I'm sure you won't be in jail for too long."

Gary frowned and didn't say anything. His grip on Janice became tighter.

Janice was dumbfounded.

She could hardly believe her ears.

Heinz was behaving extremely out of character. Was he encouraging Gary to kill her?

Janice still kept her eyes on Heinz, pleading with him to save her.

At the same time, she held onto Gary's arms tightly, hoping to pull them away from her neck.

However, Gary was very angry to the point that he'd lost all control. Hence, his hands stayed wrapped around Janice's neck.

Janice gasped for air as her body clamored for oxygen.

Meanwhile, Heinz did not say a single word to stop Gary. He seemed very confident that Gary would not strangle Janice.

He knew that no matter how angry Gary was, he wouldn't really cross that line.

He was Heinz's eldest son and a very smart man. How could he commit a crime for such a nobody?

Obviously, he was right.

Gary flung Janice aside to the sofa just as she was about to faint, and she was immediately hit with a coughing fit.

Janice coughed and struggled to breathe properly.

Janice held her neck and couldn't stop to catch her breath.

Her coughing fit took a while to subside, she gave Gary and Heinz a blank look as tears fell from her eyes.

Heinz sat on the sofa lazily as if what happened was commonplace. Everything was under control.

Gary also walked over to the sofa and sat down. His bloodshot eyes gave his father a piercing glare. "Since you knew about this, then you should know where Celeste is, right?"

Heinz laughed.

He said, "I'm glad that you haven't become stupid. You managed to sense that I knew. There's still hope for you yet, son."

Gary heaved a sigh of relief when he heard his father say that. If Heinz knew where Celeste was, then she was safe.

Gary glanced at Janice and said to Heinz, "Why did you let her out?"

"You're acting as if Miss Simpson is a mad dog going around attacking everyone." Heinz laughed mockingly.

Gary sneered and said, "You think too highly of this woman. A mad dog is better than her by far."

Heinz pursed his lips. His son's vicious tongue hasn't gone away.

Heinz used to sympathize with Janice, but now it seemed that she wasn't worth it at all.

"Why? Do you still want to lock her up?" Heinz looked at his son.

Gary sneered. "There's no need."

To be honest, locking her up did not solve the real problem.

Celeste had already left, plus she knew about everything that had happened. Celeste would not come back no matter what he said.

Hence, Gary was left alone to deal with the pain in his chest.

Instead of keeping Janice locked up, he might as well ignore her.

After hearing this, Heinz nodded in satisfaction. "Your mother already knew about it long ago too. It's no big deal."

Gary glanced at his father and didn't reply.

Janice immediately said, "Gary, you promised me that you'd be my boyfriend. How can you break your promise?" "You have a death wish, don't you?" Gary growled. "Janice, don't push me, or else there will be hell to pay."

Janice smiled bitterly at his words

as tears rolled down from her cheeks. Her piercing stare was locked on Gary, and she said in accusatory tone, "I am in hell right now lost our child, and yet you still insist on abandoning me."

"Abandoning you? We were never together in the first place." Gary sneered.

"I was pregnant with your child, and I lost it because of you. How could you have the heart to treat me so poorly?" Janice whined.

"Of course I can." Gary didn't hesitate in his answer. "Who do you think you are?"

Janice still wanted to say something, but she was interrupted by Heinz. "Miss Simpson, we have made our stance very clear. Stop lying to yourself and leave the Jones Estate immediately."NôvelDrama.Org is the owner.

Janice then said, "Fine. You made me do this. I have nothing left to lose. I thought you all were rational people, but it seems that you're just the same as Gary. There's nothing left for me to care about anymore."

Heinz glanced at her indifferently and didn't comment.

Gary smiled cruelly at Janice. "Do whatever you

want."

Janice stared at Gary and said hatefully, "Fine, be careful what you wish for."

She quickly walked past Gary.

Heinz asked the secretary to keep an eye on Janice to make sure that she left the Jones Estate safe and sound.

After Janice left, Heinz turned to Gary and said, "I don't think she'll stop. You'd better be prepared."

A frown appeared on Gary's face.

Janice's parting words reinforced the fact that she was stubbornly not giving up.

Heinz looked at his silent son and said in disgust, "What, you can provoke her, but you can't handle her? Are you even my son?"

"Can you stop gloating?" Gary couldn't help but glare at his father.

Heinz snorted. "You're merciless when it comes to teasing me, but you're nothing but a lamb in front of others. One woman has completely dismantled your thought process. Have you been blinded by her beauty as well?"
