True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 2074

Chapter 2074

Grace paused. Heinz was right, it wasn't that easy to find information there.

She nodded. "What's Janice planning on doing?"

Heinz pursed his lips. "She's insisting that she's here to visit family and that Gary doesn't have any right to lock her up."

Grace nodded. "Is she really here to do that?"Original content from NôvelDrama.Org.

Heinz's tone was sarcastic as he replied, "Do you need to charter a plane to visit your relatives? It's obvious that she's lying."

"She deliberately tried to circumvent immigration. I'm sure she's afraid that Gary would find out."

"She thought she was in the clear, but she didn't expect us to be so wary of her. From what I heard, she was very surprised to see Gary's men at the airport, and she struggled very hard to escape."

"That's normal. No one would want to be locked up."

"There are other things that raise suspicion about her. She was only locked up overnight, but she's already tried to kill herself once." Heinz's expression turned serious. "It's obvious that this girl is an extremely volatile person."

"She'll do anything to get what she wants." Grace frowned. "Why did Lowell fancy her?"

"That's because he's blind." Heinz's tone was very harsh.

Grace smirked slightly. "You don't have to put it that way."

"It's the truth," Heinz replied. "He had to be blind to like Janice."

"You and he are the same. You two had such bad tastes in women in your youth. The women you like are all crazy." Grace recalled how extreme Jodie was in the past.

Heinz was rendered speechless.

He looked at his wife pleadingly, begging her to spare some of his dignity.

However, Grace chuckled and said, "Sorry, I didn't mean to tease you on purpose, but it's the truth, no?"

Heinz had no reply to that.

"How did Gary react after Janice did that?"

"Gary couldn't care less about Janice the moment Celeste left. Honestly, I think he wants to kill Janice." Heinz mused. "That's why I was the one who brought Janice to the hospital." "What if she escapes?" Grace couldn't help but become worried.

"Well, we can have someone keep an eye on her. We have to let her go to be able to be sure what she's planning," Heinz replied.

"That's right."

As they were talking, Heinz's phone rang.

He answered the call in front of his wife.

The secretary's voice filtered through the speaker. "President, Miss Simpson wants to see you."

"Janice wants to see me?" Heinz asked.

"Yes. She claimed to be Gary's girlfriend while she asked to see you."

Heinz snorted.

Grace inhaled sharply when she heard that.

She didn't expect such a young girl to be so shrewd.

She had come knocking on their door.

Heinz narrowed his eyes. "She's here to see me even when she's injured?"

The secretary replied, "Yes. She came here straight after she was discharged from the hospital. She said that she had to see you before you left." "Is she trying to threaten me?" Heinz chuckled.

"It seems so, President. How about I send her away?" "No need." Heinz figured that Janice was prepared to meet him. Since that was the case, he would go and see what that girl was up to.

"Tell her to wait for me in the office. I will be right there." Heinz decided to meet the girl.

Grace frowned at Heinz when he hung up the phone. "Why are you meeting her? Her arrogance really pisses me off."

"It's obvious that she's overestimating her capabilities." Heinz smiled faintly. "I figured that since she can't approach Gary, she'll try coming to us instead."

"She wants us to know that she wants something from Gary."

"Well, I'll go and see her first." Heinz patted his wife on the shoulder. "Don't worry. We've gone through a lot over the years, this is nothing."

Grace nodded and calmed down.

"Go ahead, I'll be okay."

Heinz soon arrived at the office.

Meanwhile, Gary found out that his father had released Janice, and she was at his office.

Frankly, Gary was shocked.

His father was truly very shrewd.

It turned out that Heinz already knew about it long ago, but he never said a word about it.

He gave a wry smile. It seemed that he was still very inexperienced.

Hence, he could only set aside his plan to go to Jenevo City for the time being.

Gary felt like going to the office to see what Janice was up to this time.

After Heinz returned to the office, he went straight to reception instead of his office.

Janice was quietly sitting in the reception room.

Heinz stopped at the door silently.

The secretary went up to him and said, "President, Miss Simpson is inside."

Heinz nodded and gave his secretary a look.

The secretary pushed the door open and Heinz walked in.

Janice was alone on the sofa in the huge reception room, and the gauze on her head made her look extremely pitiful.

As soon as the door was opened, Janice stood up immediately.

She looked at Heinz.

Heinz returned her gaze as he walked inside.

"Uncle Jones," Janice called out in a tearful, sad

tone.

Heinz raised his eyebrow and sat down before he said, "Please sit, Miss Simpson."

Janice noticed how cold Heinz was being towards her, so she pursed her lips and sat back down.

She looked down and a glimmer of light flashed in her eyes.

"Uncle Jones, thank you for helping me escape today," Janice said.

"Miss Simpson, you're a very reckless girl." Heinz didn't bother with being polite, and his tone was flat. "What do you want?"

Janice was shocked as she looked up at Heinz. Tears rolled down her face before she could speak, and she looked very pitiful. "Uncle Jones, I'm Gary's girlfriend," Janice said.

"Oh, really?" Heinz smiled gently and looked at Janice's head wrapped in white gauze. She was ready to risk everything to look for him even in such a state.

"Yes, he promised to be my boyfriend." Janice was afraid that Heinz wouldn't believe her, so she said, "Lowell knows about this too."

"Is that so?" Heinz's tone was still as

cool as ever. Lowell didn't tell me this. He told me that Gary had another girlfriend, and you're the one who keeps hounding Lowell." "No" way Uncle Jones." Janice shook her head before she gasped in apparent pain. "I've never liked Lowell."

"Then you were using him?" Heinz did not spare Janice any mercy.

To him, Janice was far too scheming for anyone.

How could Celeste be a match for someone like her?

A girl who would risk her life for love wasn't someone Celeste could easily deal with.

"Never. I've never used Lowell," Janice replied in a pitiful voice.

"Weren't you going to use Lowell as a shield just now? You wanted him to prove Gary said what you told me." Heinz sneered. "You used Lowell to get

close to Gary, didn't you?"

"Uncle Jones!" Janice shouted.

"Miss Simpson, you're still very young." Heinz interrupted Janice right away. "I've been in the business world for many years, and I've seen all kinds of people. I know what` you're doing. Just tell me what you want."

Janice was stunned.

She stared blankly at Heinz, tears streaming down from her eyes.

She looked so sad.

She bit her lips tightly, wiped her tears with her hands, and started to sob.

Heinz frowned at her. He had no patience for this at all.

He disliked someone who would go to such extremes, so he had no time for her games.

Meanwhile, Janice sobbed.

Heinz said, "Since you have nothing else to say, then that will be all."

Heinz stood up and prepared to leave.

"Uncle Jones." Janice suddenly knelt in front of Heinz and blocked his way.

Heinz looked down at Janice. The gauze on her head was an eyesore, but he kept watching her performance.

"I just want Gary," Janice admitted what she was here for.

Heinz chuckled, mocking Janice for overestimating herself.

"I'm pregnant with Gary's child." Janice cried. "He promised to make me his girlfriend."

"Why are you coming to me if Gary promised you?" Heinz asked.

Janice was shocked by Heinz's indifferent attitude. She originally thought that coming to Heinz would give her a chance, but she thought wrong.

It seemed that Celeste had truly become Gary's wife in the Jones family's eyes.

Her mind was spinning, thinking about countermeasures.

"Uncle Jones, I know I'm very bold to come to see you, but I have no choice. I'm pregnant with his child."

"Didn't you lose the child?" Heinz asked faintly.

Janice was shocked. She didn't expect Heinz to know about it.

"Miss Simpson, do you really think that we wouldn't know about this?" Heinz stepped back and kept a distance from Janice. "You'd better stand up and talk. Kneeling on the ground isn't your style. You're more extreme than that." Content belongs

"I don't have another choice." Janice sobbed even harder. "My child is gone, but that's just because Lowell hit me with his car. I'm sorry I didn't

manage to keep the child."

"You don't have to apologize to us." Heinz's tone was even colder. "We have no idea what's going on with the child, nor who it belongs to. However, your child will never be welcomed in the Jones family."
