Gary took out his phone and sent a message to Yandrea. "It looks like Xyrion knows about Janice's whereabouts, but I think she has already returned to Northern City."

As soon as the message was sent, Yandrea returned Gary's call.

Gary slid the answer button to the right.

Yandrea's voice came over the phone, and he sounded a little helpless. "You're right."

Gary raised his eyebrows. He laughed softly and said, "Why? You sound like you've figured that out a long while ago."

Yandrea said, "Xyrion really did have a hand in this, and he played a huge role too. I thought you wouldn't think of him, but since you have, I'll tell you the truth."

"Does this put you in a difficult spot?" Gary asked.

Yandrea gave a wry chuckle. "It's alright. Not to worry."

Even though he said this, Gary knew very well that Xyrion and Yandrea were on good terms.

Yandrea was a joker most times, but he took good care of his younger brother. However, Xyrion was not appreciative of this.

It was not an exaggeration to describe the relationship between the two brothers as complicated, but Yandrea hated Janice very much because of Xyrion.

Xyrion was obsessed with Janice, but Janice did not like him back.

Once, Yandrea was so angry that he went to confront Janice, but Janice humiliated him instead.

"That's why I'm wondering what sort of black magic Janice has at her disposal. Lowell liked her, and you've been swayed by her charms before."

Gary immediately interrupted Yandrea, correcting him. "Don't talk nonsense. When have I ever had any feelings for Janice? I only took care of her because of Lowell."

"Alright, I know you won't admit it no matter what I say." Yandrea chuckled and said, "I'm investigating Janice's flight. If I'm right, she should've gotten on a chartered plane. Xyrion used my

old man's money to charter a private plane for Janice to Northern City, so it's hard to see where she is from immigration."

"I've also checked with immigration but I didn't see Janice's name." Gary didn't intend to hide anything from Yandrea. "I just called your younger brother and found out that Janice is really back in Northern City." "Great. Let's attack on two fronts. You handle things in Northern City while I'll see what I can do here. I'll have my dad freeze Xyrion's bank accounts," Yandrea replied.

Then, Gary hung up and logged back into the airline company's website. After several keystrokes, he found the list of chartered aircraft for that particular day and a few days after that.

He sifted through incoming flights from Europe for clues as he had a hunch that Janice would try to avoid being found.

There were quite a number of chartered aircrafts coming into Northern City.

It was like finding a needle in a haystack, and Gary failed to find anything substantial.

The phone suddenly rang as he was busy searching.

It was a call from Lowell.

"Gary, where are you? Celeste told me that you'd gone out when I came to see you. Why isn't she with you?" Lowell sounded concerned and surprised.

"What do you want from me?" Gary replied impatiently. "Didn't I tell you not to let Celeste and I see you ever again?"

"Yeah, but I was worried about you. So, I came to see you, and I have something to tell you as well."

"If it's something important, you can tell me over the phone," Gary said.

"Come on, where are you? I can come to you. It might not be convenient to talk about it on the phone." Lowell seemed reluctant to say what he wanted to.

"Why are you so dramatic? Just spit it out." Gary's tone turned even more impatient. "What can't you tell me over the phone? No one is around me, is anyone around you?"

"Well, no, but I heard that Sylvia has the entire house bugged. I think it really would be best if some things aren't said out loud." Gary was rendered speechless at Lowell's words.

His expression fell. How could he have forgotten that?

Sylvia could very well reveal what was happening between him and Celeste.

"Right. I'm parked by the street nearby, so come over. We'll talk when we meet."

After Gary hung up, he waited for around twenty minutes before Lowell arrived.

When Lowell got into Gary's car, he said, "Gary, I think Janice might be on her way back to our home. By then, I don't think we can keep this a secret anymore."

Gary frowned and glared sharply at Lowell. "Why do you think so? Did Yandrea say something?"

That couldn't be. Yandrea wouldn't have told Lowell about this that quickly.

Something was wrong.

Sure enough, when asked, Lowell immediately averted his eyes guiltily.

Gary recalled that Heinz seemed to have visited Lowell before he left the house.

Heinz had gone to see Lowell before he left the house. He saw Heinz leave the room after that, which meant that they must have spoken.

What was the content of their conversation?

"Does Heinz know something?" Gary asked quietly.

"No, how would your father know?" Lowell immediately denied it.

Gary narrowed his eyes and carefully sized Lowell up. His gaze was like a pointed dagger aimed straight at Lowell, and the man could barely breathe under his intrusive stare.

However, Lowell quickly calmed himself down. He remembered Heinz's words and refused to show any emotion in front of Gary.

Gary was simply too clever.

If Lowell wasn't careful, he'd let the truth slip.

It was Heinz who told him about Janice's possible return.

Lowell had struggled for more than an hour before he went to discuss this matter with Gary. He did not expect Celeste to tell him that Gary had left without her. It seemed uncharacteristic of him.

Celeste and Gary had been inseparable when they were in Boston. They were always together except for when they had to be in school. Feeling too much like a third wheel, Lowell decided to move out and live in the lab.

That was why he found it unbelievable that the two were separated after coming home.

Lowell smiled and said, "Why do you think your father knows about this? Did you tell him?"
