True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 2040

Chapter 2040

Heinz seemed to remember something when he saw Grace's face getting paler.

He asked tentatively, "You were not lying in bed just now. Did you go upstairs to chat with Celeste?"

"Why? Can't I talk to Celeste?" Grace retorted defensively.

"Of course you can." Heinz immediately shook his head and said with a smile, "Did Celeste say something? It seems you're very angry with Gary." Grace did not reply to that as she looked at Heinz. "Are you asking if Celeste has been complaining about Gary to me?"

Heinz tensed as Grace sounded like she was about to start an argument. He became a little worried.

Heinz hurriedly explained, "You're suddenly so angry, so that did cross my mind."

"Celeste will never complain about Gary. We women are like you men, such complainers." Grace gave Heinz a disdainful look. "She always compliments Gary, and she won't tell me if she's

been hurt.

I can see that Celeste is worried about my pregnancy, and she doesn't want to upset me.

Yet, you think that Celeste is backstabbing Gary? How narrow-minded of you to think so, Heinz."

Heinz shut up right away.

Alright.

It was all his fault.

Heinz gave a wry smile. "Honey, it's all my fault. But I'm worried about you. You can't be mad when you're pregnant."

"What's there to worry about?" Grace rolled her eyes at him.

Heinz replied, "But you're so pale..."

"I'm fine. I just realized that there's something up with Gary and Celeste."

Heinz was stunned. Lowell's words and Lester's questions flashed through his mind.

It seemed that what Gary did had affected his relationship with Celeste.

If that was the case, things were going to be rather complicated.

However, Heinz remained impassive in front of his wife.

He smiled and said, "They say pregnant women love to overthink, and you're a classic example of that. Since Celeste wasn't complaining, why do you suspect Gary of doing something wrong? Aren't you looking for trouble that isn't there?"

Grace frowned, and she replied firmly, "I'm not. You don't know anything about what's happening."

"You sound like you know what's going on." Heinz looked at his wife and noticed that something was off.

"Forget it, I'm going to bed." Grace had no intentions of telling Heinz anything.

First of all, she didn't know how to talk about it. But above all else, she wanted to observe the situation more closely.

Heinz wanted to speak, but he stopped himself in the end.

Grace had already closed her eyes.

Grace was a little tired, and she seemed to be in a bad mood. Hence, he decided not to say anything else.

After all, she was with child.

Her health also affected the babies in her belly.

Heinz was silent for a moment before he said, "Okay, rest well. You can tell me about it whenever you like, and I will take care of whatever problems you might have. I'll do whatever you tell me to."

Grace suddenly opened her eyes and looked at Heinz again. "I have a feeling that something bad will happen."

"What do you mean?" Heinz looked at his wife with surprise in his eyes.

"I think that Celeste and Gary are going to break up." Grace decided to tell Heinz about this. If she didn't, she would feel horrible about keeping this secret.

Therefore, she decided to just let her husband into the loop.

"Why do you think so?" Heinz asked.

"I think Gary might be cheating on Celeste. He might be getting close to another woman." Grace's tone was steely. "Why is he like this? Who did he learn this from?"

What Lowell said made sense.

After all, Heinz knew his own son, and Gary wasn't like that.

If he'd really slept with Janice, then Gary most definitely cheated on Celeste.

However, if it was untrue, then there must be a misunderstanding.

"I don't know what's going on." Grace shook her head and told Heinz exactly what she heard from Celeste when she was at the door of Gary's room.

Heinz was also shocked to hear what Grace had heard.

He elected not to tell Grace about this earlier, but he didn't expect her to find out about it in the end.

In that case, Celeste must know about what happened as well.

Lowell was wrong about her being in the dark.

It seemed that their assumptions were wrong, and Heinz was afraid that Lowell had no idea that Celeste knew.

Celeste probably didn't know that Heinz and Grace were both in the know about what happened. This content © Nôv/elDr(a)m/a.Org.

Things were turning out to be rather interesting.

Heinz frowned. He sighed and said, "I wanted to keep this from you, but you found out about it anyway. Let me tell you what I know then."

"You knew about this?" Grace asked in surprise.

Heinz nodded. "Yes."

He then told Grace the whole story.

"Grace said that he absolutely did not sleep with

Janice. Tell me, Grace. Would you believe your son or Janice?"

Grace was speechless for a moment.

Her intuition told her that she should believe in her son.

However, she couldn't get over the fact that Janice was pregnant.

"If they didn't sleep together, how could she have gotten pregnant?" Grace asked.

Heinz replied, "You can still procure semen even without sex. Medicine is so advanced nowadays, so Janice could have just impregnated herself."

After thinking for a while, Grace said, "Are you saying that Janice stole Gary's semen without sleeping with him?"

"I think so."

"But for a girl in her early twenties,

it's hard not to be angry when she learns that her boyfriend has a child with another woman." After careful consideration, Grace continued, "Celeste must be devastated."

Heinz said, "I don't think she's the one most affected by this, instead, Gary is. He didn't even have any opinion about changing his ID today. Don't you think that's weird?" "He's the one who made a mistake, he deserves it." Grace's blood was boiling. "He's such a clever child, yet he was tricked by Janice." Content

Heinz replied, "An honest mistake, I'm sure. No matter how smart a man might be, he could still be tricked by a determined woman."
