True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 2019

Chapter 2019

Celeste trembled after hearing that. She was unsure of her speculation then.

She too felt that the possibility of that happening was unlikely.

He had risked his life by drinking such an absurd amount of alcohol just to prove to them that he had not done anything to Janice before.

His sincerity had deeply moved Celeste.

It seemed like that did not matter so much anymore.RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only

She could feel the balance in her heart gradually tilting back to normal. It seemed like she was not so eager to know about the results, nor did she want to care about it.

"Celeste, I can prove it to you. You have to believe me for one last time, okay?" When Gary saw Celeste staying quiet, he could not help but to whisper his promise in her ear once again.

Celeste suddenly came back to her senses, and she said, "It's not that I don't believe you. You are feeling very unwell right now. So, hurry up and put on your bathrobe. Let's get you changed after we get out of here."

She was worried that he would get a cold if that went on.

Gary did not let go, and he continued to hug Celeste tightly.

Her clothes got wet after being hugged by him like that. Celeste pursed her lips, she wrapped her arms around his sturdy back.

Their bodies were so close to each other and their skins were only separated by her clothes. Celeste could almost feel Gary's body temperature slowing rising up.

She looked up at him, stunned.

He looked down at her with a frown, as if he was filled with sorrows.

Then, she looked at him again. There were way too many emotions in her eyes.

She felt that she could see the desire and emotion in his sudden change of expression, and she could understand his intent at that moment. Celeste was shocked, anxiety could be seen in her eyes.

Could it be that he still wanted her badly despite feeling so unwell?

Gary could see how nervous Celeste was. He immediately forced a smile and said with bitter self- mockery, "Even though I am feeling really impulsive right now, and I want to show my gratitude and feelings for you, I can't do anything physically."

He wrapped his bathrobe tightly around himself and held Celeste's hand, trying to prove himself along the way.

Celeste blushed.

He smiled and said, "Ideals and realities are not the same. What I want to do wouldn't be the same as what I can actually do. It doesn't matter whether I want you or not, I won't be able to do it the way I usually do now. So, I still want to prove that I can't have sex when I'm drunk, and that's the same even if that woman was my favorite woman, you."

He was holding Celeste tightly, and she held his too. She could feel his emotions.

He was not lying.

That was right, wanting to do it and actually doing it were two different things.

He had proven that he could not do it then.

Even if the method used would hurt his self-esteem as a man, he still managed to prove that he couldn't do it in such situation.

Celeste was amused and got a little speechless by what he said, she quickly pulled back her hands and said, "Okay, that's enough. Let's get out of here. Don't you feel uncomfortable?"

"My stomach hurts," he muttered. "My head hurts as well."

"Then, why are you still acting like this?" Celeste rolled her eyes at him playfully.

Gary only smiled bitterly.

In the end, Celeste was still worried about him, so she supported him when they walked out.

Back in the room, Celeste led him to sit on the edge of the bed, then she took out a towel to dry his hair. When his hair was half-dry, she took a hairdryer to completely dry all of it.

After that, Celeste handed him the clothes which she had prepared beforehand. Celeste was aiding him with one thing after another. Gary was sweating. The pain he felt made him feel terrible.

When Celeste saw that he hesitated in taking over the clothes, she quickly asked with concern, "Do you feel unwell? Let me help you put on your clothes first."

She did not care whether Gary was willing to let her do that or not. She personally helped him put on his clothes, as if she was taking care of a child. She was thoughtful and gentle.

Even her movements were gentle, as she was afraid that she would hurt him. She then crouched down to help him put on his pants and shoes. Gary looked at how gentle and beautiful Celeste was, he felt a conflicting feeling in his heart, and even self-blame.

After Celeste was done helping him put on his clothes, sweat started to appear on her forehead too.

Gary's pain finally subsided, he felt a little bit better. With that, he took a deep breath.

Celeste took a towel and helped him wipe his sweat.

Her every movement was very soft, as if she was afraid of hurting him.

She was so gentle, and in Gary's eyes, she was ever so moving.

Once he felt better, he hugged Celeste and made her sit on his lap with his hands on her waist.

Celeste was surprised and let out a cry.

When their eyes met, she saw the complicated emotions in Gary's eyes.

She tried hard to push him away, but he held her so tightly that she could not move at all. She frowned and shouted, "Gary, aren't you having a stomachache?"

Yet, before she could finish, her words were all drowned in his kiss.

His kiss was like a raging sea with strong waves that came unannounced, which was obviously rampant, but without the intention to actually have sex with her.

That was all he wanted to do. He just wanted to kiss Celeste, the girl he loved the most.

Celeste did not expect him to act like that. At first, she struggled, but soon after, she gave in to him.

Fortunately, he only kissed her again and again. He did not do anything else to her.

After that, his lips left hers, and he lowered his head to look at Celeste.

She raised her head to look into his eyes as well.

His eyes were as dark as ink, and there was a complex and indescribable expression on his chiseled face.

"Do you feel better?" She asked first.

Gary was shocked, as he did not expect Celeste to ask such a question. He nodded and said, "My headache is still there, but my stomach feels better."

"Then, would you like to have

something to eat?" Celeste asked

e

again. "Your stomach is empty right now. You need to eat something You might feel better. There's porridge here, and it's still hot Have some first."

Gary had no appetite. He watched as Celeste left to get him some porridge.

He whispered, "I am not hungry yet, I don't want to eat."

"Even if you don't want to eat, you have to. If your stomach still hurts, then we will have to go back," Celeste said, "You have drank too

much, you need to take good care of your body."

"I'm fine." Gary shook his head. "I am not that weak."

"Why must you act tough?" Celeste handed him a bowl and spoon after she prepared the food.

When she saw him hesitating to take it, she asked, "Do you want me to feed you?"

Gary immediately shook his head and accepted what Celeste gave him. He only ate a spoonful of it, and he refused to eat anymore.

Celeste looked at him gently, she did not urge him. However, he could not bear to see her looking at him like that.

Gary had no choice but to take another spoonful of it.

Under Celeste's gentle gaze, he unconsciously ate the porridge one mouthful after another.

Celeste was still staring at him.

"Hurry up and eat," Gary said, "Don't just stare at me like that."

"Are you feeling better? Is your stomach feeling all right?" Celeste asked with concern.

She was worried that Gary would feel even more uncomfortable after

eating. There might not be a doctor on the yacht, and if things got serious, they would have to go back.

"I think we'd better go back," Celeste said. "If Aunt Smith found out about us making an impromptu trip and came out here, she would be worried

about us."
