Chapter 207 It's My Duty
Chapter 207 It's My Duty
"Don't worry. I'll carry you to our bedroom." Samuel said with a wicked smile, which made Ella want to
kick him.
She was thinking about how she needed to resume work as soon as possible. Her knife wound was
healing well, and soon she would be back to working.
Also that she needed to be careful, because the paparazzi were everywhere, waiting to take pictures of
her in compromising situations, such as the one she was in at the moment.
Ella closed her eyes and rested her head against Samuel's chest whilst he opened the gate and carried
her to the second floor.
He put Ella down after they entered the room.
But Ella was too weak to stand, staggering forward, placing her hands on Samuel's chest.
"Throwing yourself on me? Yes, I like it." He said it with a flirtatious tone which made Ella want to hit
him.
"No. Take your mind out of the gutter. Haven't you had enough? I'm going to bed."
Going to bed? Samuel hadn't been satiated enough in the car, and there was no way he could let his
hot wife go to bed without going for another round.
He pushed Ella up against the door and kissed her passionately.
Ella hated to admit, but he truly was good kisser. Her body was set on fire and she finally gave in to
him.
Soon, the room filled with their passionate moans and groans, as they made love into the night.
Ella was woken up from her slumber when her phone rung. Groggy, she picked it up and heard
Samuel's voice.
Confused, she glanced at the clock and was surprised that it was noon.
"Hello."
She only said one word, but it was enough to know that her voice was hoarse. Samuel smiled when he
recalled how Ella acted in bed last night.
"Honey, it's time for lunch."
Ella hated to be called honey. She heard the word tons of times last night, and was tired of it.
"Samuel, don't call me honey any more. I'm sick of it." It wasn't until she said the whole sentence, that
Ella realised how hoarse her voice was.
But that wasn't all.
Her body was also stiff.
Hearing her protest, Samuel took a drag on his cigarette and said, "Honey, why?"
"I just don't want to be referred to like that! I don't want to have lunch either. I want to sleep a bit more."
Her voice dipped to a whisper, by the end of her sentence.
"You can sleep after lunch."
"I don't want lunch." Her voice died away to a harshed whisper.
"Put your clothes on and go to the dinning room. The cook has already prepared and served your
lunch." Samuel hired a cook for her and their son.
"The cook? Is that you?" She remembered Samuel was pretty good at cooking.
Samuel put out the cigarette and said, "I can be your cook, but you have to wait till I am off duty. I will
try to finish my work early today."
He'd be glad to cook for his beloved Ella.
"Okay." Ella went back to sleep.
But she didn't sleep for long as Samuel called her a few more times to wake her up. Ella had no other
choice but to wake up.
She went downstairs after taking a shower.
Her lunch was already on the table, and looked and smelt delicious.
The cook was gone so Ella sat down and began to eat.
A few minutes later, the door bell rang. She put down her fork and went to the gate. Who could it be?
Ella approached the gate of the mansion and it turned out to be a courier.
"Are you Ella Bo?"
"Yes, I am."
"All right, here is your package. Please sign for it."
Ella felt a little bit confused. Why was there a package being delivered to her and she hadn't order
anything online?
Ella checked the package and the delivery note and they showed that it was truly addressed to her.
She took it and walked back to the mansion.
Ella placed the package on the table and tore it open. Glancing inside, she saw packets of facial masks
in it.
Ella was shocked after she searched the brand on the internet.
There were from the well-known LZI, an exclusive cosmetics brand.
During shoots and filming, she would hear other actresses and the make-up glam team talking about
the brand.
One packet of 5 facial masks costed more than ten thousand.
Ella counted of the packets in the package, and they added up to more than 10 packets. No one could
be so generous except Samuel.
Standing in astonishment staring at the fancy gifts, Samuel called.
"Samuel."
"Have you received it?" Samuel looked at the web page of the delivery company which showed the
package had arrived a few minutes ago.
"Yes, I know it's from you.
But don't buy anything so pricey any more.
Things like cosmetics run out pretty fast."
"You don't like it?" Samuel grimaced when he heard the unhappy tone in her voice.
Ella sighed, "No, I like it. Come on, who doesn't like fancy things? They are just too pricey. I have to
use them everyday. In the long run, they'll be very pricey."
"If your concern is about money, then no need to worry. I just want you to be happy."
A beauty like Ella deserved such exclusive cosmetics.
Besides, the expense was just a drop in the ocean for him.
"Samuel..."
"Ella, you are my wife. It's my duty to buy you everything you want." He'd be glad to do everything for
her.
Ella was touched by what he said.
"Thank you, Samuel. But I want to buy them myself next time. Is that okay?" "Okay." Samuel always
frittered away his money.
Ella, as his wife, decided that it is necessary for her to try and manage their money and make sure that
he wasn't spending too much on useless things, since they had two kids to support, even though Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org exclusive © material.
Samuel didn't know he had a daughter. He always wanted to have a daughter. Jane would be the apple
of his eye after Samuel got to know the truth.
But Ella still worried that he might ignore Jerry after he knew about Jane.
Even though Samuel never talked about it, she could sense he loved Jerry very much.
Ella guessed he wouldn't ignore Jerry. After all, Jerry was his son.
"You are my wife and you are the boss."
The front doorbell chimed again as they were talking over the phone.
Ella went to the gate and it turned out to be the courier again. But this time, there were lots of packages
with him.
