Caroline turned to Evan, her eyes burning with rage.

Caroline gnashed her teeth in hatred.
Her suspicion about Daniella being the source of evil was correct.
Unable to contain her emotions, she confronted Evan, “Why won’t you report her to the police instead of bringing her here?”
“Killing her is far from enough to atone for the crimes she committed.”
“You don’t have to do it. I’m going to deal with this treacherous wench myself!” Alex interjected through clenched teeth, his eyes bloodshot, unable to suppress his ruthlessness.
Daniella was pacing anxiously in her room at Jordan Residence, wondering, ‘Now that Evan’s father has been detained, when will I regain my freedom?’
Suddenly, a knock on her door startled her, and she opened it without thinking. A masked man covered her mouth, and Daniella, wide–eyed with fear, attempted to struggle, but her vision blurred, and she lost consciousness.
As Daniella was carried out of the room, Evan’s subordinate arrived. Blake frowned at the empty room. and quickly pulled out his walkie–talkie, shouting, “Check if Daniella is in the residence. Bring her to the entrance door right away if you find her.”
All the bodyguards at Jordan Residence searched for Daniella upon receiving the order. Despite more than 10 minutes of searching, she was nowhere to be found.
Blake promptly called Julian to update him on the situation. Julian, in turn, relayed the message to Evan without delay.
Evan’s expression turned, solemn as he listened to Julian’s report.
Addressing the group, Alex asked, “What’s happening? Has Daniella been taken?”
After glancing at Alex, Evan instructed Julian, “Check the surveillance footage! Personally supervise the search. Find her!”
“Yes, sir!” Julian affirmed.
After ending the call, Evan sternly told Caroline and Alex, “Daniella can’t be found.”
“Can’t be found? What do you mean? Isn’t she being monitored by your people?” Alex sat up on the sofa.
Evan frowned. “From the moment we learned about Daniella and Azure’s collusion to when we dispatched personnel to bring her in, less than five minutes had passed.”
Lucas interjected, “That means someone else is in Jordan Residence!”
Kenny exclaimed, “Someone’s right under your nose, Evan!”
Caroline stared at Evan, stating, “The key question is, why did this person take Daniella?”
“I’m certain they’re not on our side but opposing us,” Kenny asserted.
Lucas was eager to share his insight. “Hold on. You might have overlooked something.”
The others prompted him, “What?”
Evan cut in coldly, “Caroline’s villa is under surveillance.”
Caroline and Kenny widened their eyes in shock.
Lucas explained, “Exactly! Evan ordered Daniella to be brought over, and she was taken shortly after. The person clearly doesn’t want harm to come to her.”
