Evan said coldly, “What’s so frightening about that?”

Speechless, Reuben decided not to retrieve the cow’s tears and let Evan handle it.

Evan picked up a document and demanded, “Spill.”

Reuben quickly returned to the present and said, “The company’s firewall in Muricia got attacked, Mr. Jordan.”

Evan abruptly looked up, his expression fierce. “What did you say?”

The company in Muricia held confidential documents for all MK branches in Etes, including the headquarters in Angelbay.

After Evan took over MK, he placed many important projects in the Muricia branch, never leaving crucial documents in local offices to prevent Draco’s potential sabotage. He understood the importance of maintaining control over the company’s critical assets.

However, Evan knew that Draco wasn’t behind the attack, as he had no knowledge of it. He pondered who else could be responsible. Could it be Casey? But Evan considered Casey Insignificant.

Evan’s voice turned icy as he asked, “So, the IT staff hasn’t identified the culprit yet?”

Reuben replied, “No, Mr. Jordan. The VP of the Muricia branch wants you to visit.”

Evan angrily demanded, “Fire those inept employees if they can’t resolve this minor issue!”

Blushing with shame, Reuben promised, “Of course, Mr. Jordan. I’ll inform them right away.”

Once Reuben left, Evan regained his composure, but he remained puzzled about why the culprit didn’t simply breach the firewall but initiated numerous attacks. Did they intend to make things difficult for him?

He couldn’t shake the feeling that their motives were more complex than acquiring confidential documents.

Evan contemplated, ultimately suspecting Casey. Although Casey was foolish, he might have received guidance from someone else.

Evan texted Reuben, instructing him to keep a close eye on Casey and inform him immediately of any suspicious activities.

In the afternoon, Daniella keyed in Azure’s contact number on her phone and texted the latter when she was at Jordan Residence.

Soon, Azure texted her back.

Azure: [Okay. What’s your plan, Ms. Love?]

Daniella: [I’ve got a plan, but I can’t leave Jordan Residence at the moment. I need your help in this.]

Azure: [Oh? Tell me. I’ll think about it.]
