Evan asked, “Do you dislike Paige because of her family background or because of her as an individual?”

Franklin explained, “Evan, you know that Alex is my only son. He’s going to take over Price Group in the future. Every family in Angelbay is watching the three most influential families closely. It will be very difficult for us to get back to our previous position if there is even a bit of a setback. I want Alex to marry. someone of the same social standing for the sake of the family.”

Evan countered, “Do you not trust Alex’s capability that much, Mr. Price?

“She’s leeching off you because she thinks you’re rich! Perhaps she might get an abortion later in the pregnancy! Think with your head Rebecca said.

Alex and Rebecca looked up to see him.

Noticing that her helper was there, Rebecca hastily said, “Talk some sense into your son. He has lost his mind from being enchanted!”

“Are you done causing trouble? Do you think yesterday’s incident wasn’t embarrassing enough?” Franklin lost his temper at Rebecca.

Rebecca was shocked. “Frank, are you accusing me?”

Franklin said, “Don’t get involved in your son’s matters from now on!”

“Very well then, I won’t get involved any further from now on since you say so!”

Rebecca turned and walked away in anger.

Alex couldn’t believe that Evan would convince his father so easily. He was still in shock after leaving the residence.
