Chapter 124 Is There Something You Need
Caroline woke up early to prepare breakfast for her children before sending them to Grace
International Preschool.
Upon arriving at the kindergarten’s entrance, she led the children inside, passing by other kids who were throwing tantrums along the way.
Liora and Tyler were unusually obedient.
Liora squeezed Caroline’s hand and asked, “Is it scary to go to school, Mommy? Why are they crying?”
Before Caroline could respond, Tyler answered with a faint smile, “The teachers at school are not monsters, and the principal doesn’t punish children. You don’t have to worry about this, Liora.”
Caroline felt a bit exasperated. ‘Is Ty trying to comfort or scare Lia?‘
Puffing up her cheeks, Liora retorted, “You’re trying to scare me again! I wasn’t raised in fear.”
Tyler chuckled and teased, “Of course. You were raised in a fantasy world.”
Feeling a bit helpless, Liora sought help from Caroline. “Ty is bad, Mommy.”
Caroline was momentarily speechless as she realized there was nothing wrong with what Tyler
said.
Awkwardly, she looked away and changed the subject to the scenery.
When they reached the classroom, Caroline lowered her head and

Liora and Tyler nodded obediently, and Caroline felt relieved as she stood up.
“Alright, all the best as you embark on your education journey. Bye.”
As Caroline’s voice faded, a tall and imposing figure appeared at the classroom’s entrance, causing her body to tense abruptly.
Tyler noticed her unusual behavior and followed her gaze to the man standing at the door.
He was stunned when he saw the man, who looked remarkably similar to him.
Liora chimed in softly. “Tyler! That man looks just like you!”
Her gaze then shifted to the little boy standing next to the man.
Gasping, she exclaimed, “Tyler! That boy looks even more like you!”
Tyler glanced at his mother, puzzled. ‘Something’s fishy,‘ he thought. This belongs © NôvelDra/ma.Org.
Caroline adjusted her shades and mask before bidding her children goodbye.
As she walked toward the door, her attire drew the attention of other parents in the classroom.
Evan’s pupils constricted as he caught sight of Caroline.
He commanded Axel coldly, “Be good and stay. Bye.”
Axel watched Evan leave in silence, his body tensing up at the sight of unfamiliar faces in the
room.
Tyler had been observing Axel all this time.
“Lia, he looks just like me, right?” he asked Liora.
Excitedly, Liora nodded and said, “Yes! I’m going to talk to him, Tyler!”
Tyler smiled cunningly and replied, “Go ahead.”
He was eager to uncover any potentially unknown secrets.
Caroline hurried across the corridor, but Evan managed to catch up to her.
She stopped as Evan stood before her, his expression cold.
In a feigned deep voice, she asked, “Is there something you need, sir?”
