Chapter 22 Nikki is going to die

Nikki was hospitalized with a sickness, and endured five hours of pain every day. She had to find out a

way to keep her baby healthy. Fortunately, the baby was very strong. The baby was so healthy even if

Nikki had a cancer. For this, Nikki was very pleased that the baby could grow up healthily and strongly.

Here, guests arrived at the hotel as expected. All of them were waiting for the arrival of the groom and

bride.

Ryan stood upright at the window, waiting to pick up Iva as soon as time was up. He felt stuffy and not

well for his body. His headache continued intermittently. Also Ryan was uncomfortable in his mental

state. Ryan had two pills to calm himself then he walked out of the room.

Walking near the door, he felt his ears were in buzz. Ryan stopped and covered his head.

"Mr. Carson, are you OK?" The person who accompanied him asked.

“I;m OK, let’s go."Ryan answered and shook his head.

They met Carl in the corridor. Carl was drunk and holding his wine. Carl looked very decadent and

unshaven, as if he hadn't taken care of himself for many days.He saw Ryan come straightly. Then Carl

smiled ironically. He walked toward Ryan and stumbled on him.

"Congratulations, Ryan. Today you are getting married with Iva. May you two grow old together and

have a lovely baby.” Carl said.

They didn't know whether Carl was really drunk or not.But his words made no sense.

Ryan push his hand away and said coldly, "Are you crazy?"

I'm happy, I'm very happy. If you don't choose Iva, how could I pursue Nikki? Ryan, do you regret it?

Will you regret?” Carl asked.

"Why will I regret? Today is the wedding of Iva and I. Don't mess it up." Ryan warned.

"No, you're happy to get married. But what about Nikki? She's lying in the hospital and waiting for her

death. Ryan, how can you be so cruel?" Carl said with tears in his eyes. We all considered that men

didn't cry so easily but Carl did. "In the future, your wedding anniversary with Iva will be Nikki's death

date. Is it ridiculous?" Carl said.

Carl's words made Ryan frowned. what did he mean? Why did Nikki wait for death in the hospital.

"Carl, you're insane!" Ryan shouted excitedly.

“I'm not insane. I want you to feel guilty for your whole life. Nikki is going to die.”

Ryan's heart tightened. His pupils became wide. Ryan grabbed Carl's collar unbelievably, "Don’t say

these damned words!”

"Do I need to kid you with Nikki's death?" Carl said.

Carl smiled and said, "Nikki gives birth for you. She didn't want to die with regret. She insisted on giving

birth although she had a stomach cancer. For the past few months, she suffered from pain every day.

The night before you two divorced,Nikki fainted at home. But she unplugged the syringe needle the

next day and ran out of the hospital to see you, but you? You are going to divorce her. Ryan, how can

you be so cruel? Why do Nikki love you so much that she would even give up her life?”

These words were repeated three times in Ryan's mind. Ryan was stubborn. He couldn't believe it. He

preferred to believe that Carl was telling a lie to prevent him from getting married but not to believe that

Nikki had advanced gastric cancer.
