The Woman From Hell

Chapter 2756

Rooney's gaze on Sylvester was filled with disappointment. "I thought you were a hero when you saved me. How could you hurt someone else now?"

Sylvester pressed his hands on Rooney's shoulder. "Roo, listen to me. I'm doing all this for you, not for me. If Silas lived, there would've been a chance that you'd find out about it. I can't guarantee that the beastly old fox won't covet you again. He can only die. Yard Group can't fall into Wanda's hands. If it does, I'll have nothing. We will have nothing.

"I'm willing to be with you even if you have nothing," Rooney choked up.

This sentence silenced Sylvester.

He lowered his head and looked like he was in thought.

I looked at Theo. What Sylvester did was wrong, but even the most hateful person had their pitiful side. No one could empathize with the suffering he had gone through.

"Sylvester, what you did is wrong. I recorded it all just now. You won't be able to escape." Marius appeared at the door while waving his phone in his hand.

I looked over and shock filled my gaze. "Aren't the gates to Yard Mansion closed? How did you come in?"

Marius winked at me. "Why do I need to worry about not being able to come in with Rooney here?" He then turned to look at Sylvester. "Silas did in fact have a relapse, and you only stimulated him a little. You'll be released after three to five years at most. After you come out, you can be a good man again. Why think so hard? Sis Wan has President Grant to support her. Why should she even need Yard Group?"

However, Sylvester did not seem to have heard what Marius said. He fixed his eyes on Rooney and he said, "Roo, it seems that I can't hide anymore."

"What are you going to do, Sylvester?"

Rooney watched him turn around slowly to look at me with a smile on his lips. "Wanda, you're Silas' granddaughter. Even though you refused to come back, he still left everything to you. You should be very happy, right?"

"There's nothing to be happy about. I don't want those things." I watched Sylvester's every move. It seemed like he might rush up at any moment.

Theo was doing everything to protect me at all times too. Sylvester probably noticed how vigilant we were and said, "Don't worry. What can I do with so many of you here? Since I'm going to be sent to the police station, then Roo will be in charge of me in the future. Please take care of me."

He took Rooney's hand, his eyes full

of affection. "Roo, you'll be an ex

again after I get taken in. You have to take good care of yourself

Sylvester led Rooney to me step-by-step. "Wanda, please take care of Rooney for me."

Rooney looked at Sylvester and burst into tears, "Sylvester..."

"By the way, there's a document from Silas in the desk drawer. It's probably for you too," Sylvester

pointed to the desk and me.

"A document?"

I went forward and opened the drawer, only to find out that it was empty. "There's nothing here."

"Wanda, be careful!'

"Sis Wan, be careful!"

Just as Theo and Marius shouted to me, I saw Sylvester rushing toward me with a knife. The pain I expected never came.

I looked at the person who had been stabbed by the knife. Blood pooled on Marius' chest. I helped him to the ground slowly. "Marius? Marius?!"

Immediately, the people Theo brought over subdued Sylvester.

I did not have the spirit to look at Sylvester's expression at this moment. My mind was entirely on Marius.

Theo and Marius had run over together. The knife grazed Theo's arm and pierced Marius' heart.

"Theo, call an ambulance quickly. Call an ambulance quickly."Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.
