Fuck! I see Tobias, by the door, it was open I must have forgotten to close it, he was crying, he was hurt, I looked at Becca she had a guilty look but it changed almost immediately as it came, I went after Tobias knowing fully well where he would be and what he would be up to at this moment, I hated doing this, comforting someone that isn’t my brother but Tobias is like a brother to me and I want to make him happy, I followed after him, curse his long legs he was already at the small bar Lucas had, drinking, what should I say? What should I do? I sat next to him and asked him to pour a glass of whiskey for me. I’d rather be his drinking buddy than to talk right now, at least this way he will know I am here for him.

“I love her so much” he finally spoke after thirty minutes of just sitting there and drinking, “I know,” I replied still drinking, “what am I going to do? I can’t just forget about her just like that.”

“I know,” I replied again. Will you just keep replying “I know” or you will give me advice, uhm I cleared my throat, well you should take time to grieve, I answered him.

It not like she’s dead or something, Tobias says and continue drinking, this is why I don’t like giving out advice especially to you, I mutter glaring at him, why not just move on from her, Becca is not the only girl in this town that want you, some will even die just to go on a date with you, is she worth the wait? “Everyone has a choice,” I yelled back at her getting annoyed, then I remembered Tobias saying she needs someone, I sigh, “am your friend right?” She scoffed, you are my best friend, I giggled.

You know he won’t move on. “He has to, he’s no longer a child, he can’t wait for me forever” she answered getting frustrated, Becca, it not easy letting go of someone you love, he will wait for you, am sure of that, she sigh, “am leaving tomorrow,” you are running away again.

I can’t… I can’t be here, I nod, doesn’t matter where you run to just remember this “one of the happiest moments in life is when you find the courage to fall in love” I hope we keep in touch, I hope so, I’ll might be busy when I go back, but I’ll make time to call and chat you up. Just as she said, the following day, she was gone, Isa cried when she didn’t see her go, thank God she woke me up before leaving, I tried waking Isa but she didn’t wake up, I had to call Becca to speak to her, and when she did, whatever she said to Isa made her very happy that she dropped the phone and ran straight to her room, I followed after her only to see her opening a box that held a black card, I gasp, mama what is this? Thank God Becca was still on the line, Bella, that my gift to you, use it to buy anything you want.

“Really? You mean if I use this card? I can buy anything?” Yes Bella, thank you aunt Becca, anything for you kiddo, mama am going to show uncle T what aunt Becca gave me, he will be so jealous she giggled running off to wherever Tobias was, I laughed knowing fully well how Tobias would react to this, thank you Becca, sure anything for her, I need to go now, talk to you later. She cut the call before I could say bye, just like her brother.

Speaking of her brother, I have not seen him today. I hope he is not planning anything. I am too tired to leave the house. I sigh, finally getting a minute to myself not until I hear loud footsteps coming down and Tobias yelling my name ARYA! I groaned, “what is it now? Did you see what Becca gave to Isa?” I did and so what? He was surprised by the tone of my voice, she doesn’t need this kind of stuff, she has to be at least fifteen or something, what doesn’t she need Lucas asked coming in, oh, you are back? “Please don’t tell me you were going to give her one as well,” he nod taking out his own as well, what should I do, I’ll just give her the two cards, my princess deserves everything right? he stared at the two card confused, I looked at him as if he was crazy. If only she understands the use of what she is getting, Isa you don’t need thi-s she huffed “mommy please” she said cutely, I sigh, everytime she calls me mommy it makes me happy and want to give in to anything she demands. Fine! She can keep both cards but you must ask us before you use it to buy anything, okay baby? Yes mommy she got so excited when I handed the two cards to her, I am so going to regret this I mumbled going up stairs to rest, I needed to sleep but some big demons won’t just let me rest.

Why did you let her keep it Arya? Tobias says, am tired T, I want to sleep but he didn’t care. He kept talking which was bothering me. I got frustrated and threw the vase on my bedside at him, but he dodged it.
