Chapter 797
"How is it that Hendrix could find Noelle, but you idiots still couldn't dig up a single clue after months? Useless! Every last one of you!" Dylan's voice burned with fury. He barely held back from erupting completely.
He knew it. He freaking knew it!noveldrama
The way Hendrix had looked at him last night-that gaze had been telling him everything. Not only was he back, but he had brought Noelle with him.
So what now? What the hell was all Dylan's effort for? After everything he had done, was he still supposed to slink away in defeat? Meanwhile, they got to live happily ever after? Why the hell should things turn out like that?
"Where is she now?" Dylan asked.
The question stunned the person on the other end. "W-What did you say?"
"I asked you where is Noelle right now?"
"S-She's on her way to the hospital?"
"The hospital?"
"Yeah, we're tailing their car. It looks like she's going to see her adoptive mother at the hospital."
Dylan stopped listening. He hung up and stormed forward. He forgot what he was supposed to do or where to go, throwing all that to the back of his mind.
At that moment, Dylan floored the gas pedal, speeding toward the hospital like a madman. He needed to find out for himself where Noelle had been all this time. And how the hell had Hendrix found her? If she hadn't died, then why had there been no trace of her for over a month?
Then, all at once, a chilling thought hit him. If Noelle was still alive, then everything he had done...
He'd thrown away her phone, but what if she'd backed up that recording? What if it was stored in the cloud? And worst of all, he had

Dylan's expression grew darker. So, Noelle had survived? How was that possible?
He slowly tightened his grip on the steering wheel.
Soon, he arrived at the hospital. He knew exactly which room Cynthia was staying
in. And as it turned out, his timing couldn't have been better.
The second he stepped out of the elevator, he saw Noelle standing there alone. Even though he had mentally prepared himself, the. moment he actually laid eyes on Dylan still felt a sudden, intense

shock in his chest.
She was still alive. He should have been happy about this. But instead, those memories came flooding back. And with them, the undeniable truth-she was supposed to be dead.
As Dylan stared at her, Noelle must have felt his gaze. Slowly, she turned her head. Their eyes met, and a sharp tremor shot through Dylan.
At that moment, Dylan suddenly recalled the counterfeit from the hotel. That woman had looked so much like Noelle. That was why, at first glance, he had been deceived.
But something had been different, though he couldn't quite put his finger on it. Maybe it was his heartbeat or his breathing? Because only Noelle could make him feel this way as if something had struck his heart, sending shockwaves through his entire being.
Dylan stared at Noelle, lips slightly parted. But he suddenly forgot whatever he had been about to say.
Noelle simply stood there, looking back at him. There was no shock or hatred in her eyes.
Dylan pressed his lips into a thin line. Just as he gathered himself to speak, Noelle asked, "Who are you?"
What do you think?
