Chapter 948 Who Dares to Step Forward?!

"I'll have you know that I'm a member of the Cole Gang! I don't care if he's a big shot or a small fry; none of that works in front of me!" Maverick, with a fierce expression, declared. "I brought my family here today to eat. Do you dare to block my way?!"

Just then, in the SUV behind him, a woman in her sixties stuck her head out and tried to persuade, "Maverick, why don't we just go around? Don't argue with them…"

Maverick slowly lowered his fist and growled, "What, can you only rely on numbers?!"

As he spoke, he thought he would gather his men later and smash all the filming equipment inside.

Meanwhile, Robert pointed at the onlookers and shouted, "I'm warning you all, these bodyguards are all from Lawson Group! This film crew is also supported by Mr. Kendall of the Lawson Group! If you don't want trouble, you better leave now!"

Maverick's heart skipped a beat upon hearing the mention of the Lawson Group before the others could even respond.

Being a member of the Cole Gang, he knew that Jarett was currently cooperating with the Lawsons. Thus, he dared not offend Jarett's business partner at this time.
