The Supreme Man: Took Everything in Power

Chapter 716 It's Not That Simple

Chapter 716 It's Not That Simple

"Mr. Nicholson, what do you mean by forming your own force in the martial world?"

"Do you know that Kenny Shane has betrayed the Cole Gang?" Kingsley took a sip of water.

"He wants to go solo, but he insists on acknowledging me as his leader. And coincidentally, I'm also in need of my own force in the martial world. This content belongs to Nô/velDra/ma.Org .

"So, after discussing it thoroughly, we've decided to establish a new faction under my name."

"Kenny Shane?!" Hearing Kingsley's words, Cassius was utterly astonished.

Kenny was once the top strategist of the Cole Gang. After Ashton's downfall, his power grew exponentially. Even during its heyday, the Nightfall Gang was no match for Kenny.

He never expected that someone as formidable as Kenny would insist on acknowledging Kingsley as their leader.

This clearly indicated the immense strength and influence possessed by the young man standing before him.

As Cassius' expression changed, Kingsley smiled faintly.

"Don't worry, Mr. White. If you join me, you and Kenny will be treated equally. I have a knack for maximizing the potential of talented people."

Upon hearing these words, Cassius was overwhelmed by a torrent of emotions.

I'll have an equal standing with Kenny Shane! It's even more impressive than being the former leader of the mighty Nightfall Gang!

Although the idea intrigued him, he refrained from making an immediate declaration. He wished to seek Shannon's advice.

"Well, Mr. Nicholson—"

Before Cassius could continue, Kingsley gestured with his hand.

"No hurry, Mr. White. Take your time to discuss it with your wife and children. Give me your answer when you've made up your mind.

"But for now, let's deal with the trouble caused by the Timothys today."

Cassius' face was suffused with gratitude as he listened to Kingsley's understanding. "Thank you for your consideration, Mr. Nicholson."

He then carefully chose his words before speaking, "Shann's father, who is also my father-in-law, is the head of the Timothys. He chose to live a secluded life in the countryside many years ago.

"So, it's understandable that you may not have heard much about the Timothys' prominence. But even with my father-in-law's retreat, the Timothys remains one of the wealthiest in Cleapolis."

Kingsley nodded in acknowledgment. "If the Timothys are so affluent, why is Shannon reluctant to go back to them? It would be better for your child to grow up in that environment."

Cassius let out a grim smile.

"While the Timothys might be rich, they don't have much influence anymore. My father-in-law used to be a powerful person who had control over people's lives.

"He's responsible for more than just a few deaths! Who would want to go back and live with a murderer?"

Cassius emptied his glass with a swift gulp, then continued with a heavy tone.

"And you know what? When Shann and I wanted to be together, my father-in-law was dead set against it. It wasn't until Shann seemingly found something to use against him that he reluctantly agreed.

"He may not say it, but I bet he hates me to the core. If Shann goes back to the Timothys, it's nearly impossible for us to be together."

As these words sank in, Kingsley gained a deeper understanding of the situation at hand.

Cassius and Shannon shared an unbreakable bond and were unwilling to be separated.

Furthermore, the fact that John Timothy, with his mysterious background and a trail of blood on his hands, instilled a profound reluctance in Shannon to return home.

As for the leverage Shannon had over her father, it would have to be revealed in due time.

Kingsley couldn't shake off the feeling that this matter was far from being as straightforward as it appeared on the surface.

"The hardships faced by each family are truly distinct and difficult." Kingsley sighed, his voice laden with empathy.

"Don't worry, Mr. White. As long as I'm here, the Timothys will never succeed in taking her away."

Just then, the entrance rattled, signaling Shannon's return after picking up Cayden from school.

As the door swung open, a boy bearing a striking resemblance to Cassius bounded in with excitement.

Cassius quickly composed himself, wiping away any trace of resentment from his face. "Look who's back!"
