ELIOT HUNTER POV

As soon as I entered the main door of the mansion, I was immediately greeted by my only princess, none other than Anastasia.

“Daddy! Welcome back.”She was happy to open up to me so I hugged her before lifting her up just to see my daughter was losing all my tiredness because she was my strength.

“Hows my princess?” I asked her.

“I’m doing good dad, I want to go home and see mommy.” She said that’s why I smiled.

“Okay we’ll say goodbye to your grandmother first and we’ll leave so we can see mommy okay.” I told her so she nodded before she squeezed my neck with her face.

“Where is your grandmother princess?”I ask her as we walk.

“She’s in the garden dad.” She said that’s why I walked where the way to the garden and when we arrived I saw my mom sitting at a wooden chair with a table at the center while reading the news paper and there was juice on the table. I approached her as we turned to her side I knew she felt my presence.

“We’re leaving.” I said.

“Then leave.”She response directly so I didn’t do anything but leave knowing she didn’t want Anastasia because she didn’t want the woman who became the mother of my child she just wanted Iris, I started walking away from their house I know one day they will also accept the mother of my daughter and when that day comes I have nothing more to ask for. When I came out of the door of the mansion, I immediately put my daughter in the passenger seat and I also got in the car to go home, yes I have my own house built. as i was driving i noticed anastasia was just quiet by my side.

“Why my princess being quiet?” I asked her while still looking at the road.

“Why doesn’t grandma don’t like me? Did I do something that will make her hate me?” She asked out of sudden so I turned to her and she just looked out the window.

“Hey Princess, your grandmother is really love you She doesn’t hate you, you’re her granddaughter so I know she loves you.” I said and turned back on the road I don’t want herfeel bad because of her grandmother’s treatment to her. the whole trip remained quiet until we got home. When we arrived, the house was very quiet, I knew we only had three maids here because I didn’t want too many. when we entered the main door we met one of the maids and I knew she had just come upstairs. Anastasia walked quietly upstairs, I knew she was going to her mom upstairs so I just let her go.

ANASTASIA POV

When I went upstairs I immediately made my way to mommy’s room, when I got in front of her door I immediately opened it and a very nice woman came up to me lying on the bed with oxygen on. put on her nose. I approached her before sitting on the side of the bed and holding her hand.

“Hi mom its been a while.” I smiled and told her, I usedto talk to mom back then.

“Mom when will you wake up years have passed but you’re still lying down, aren’t you still tired of lying down?” I jokingly ask her but I can’t stop my tears from dripping because of her situation that I see. A few years later she was still comatose. If I only knew I would be the reason for her would have slept for such a long time, she would not have given birth to me but she still chose to let me see this playful world.

Yeah she’s not allowed to get pregnant and she knows that to herself but she didn’t tell dad that’s the exact story dad told me while I was growing up. Mom has an illness that she is not allowed to get pregnant but she continued and I am very lucky because she became my mother.

Even though I know I was just the result of a mistake. I know my grandmother doesn’t want me and i feel that but I can’t do anything.

“Mom, wake up for mw, I have no ally except for dad who encourages me. I want our family to be together, mom.”

“I want to have you all by my side. I want to experience the company of a mother who wakes me up in the morning. I want to experience it now when I prepare my lunch every time I go to school.” As I say those things I can’t stop crying.

“I don’t know if I will blame god because I lived and you are the substitute.”

“Mom please fight dont give up I’m still here, waiting for you to wake up.” I started to cry because of the pain I was feeling in my heart.

ELIOT HUNTER POV

“Mom please fight dont give up I’m still here, waiting for you to wake up.” I heard my daughter last words to her mother who is still lying in bed. I couldn’t help but get hurt as I listened to the words coming out of my own daughter very mouth.

We waited too long for ana to wake up but there was no progress, until now she is still comatose. Sometimes I think it’s my karma because I cheated on the first woman who made my heart beat.

“I wish I didn’t just live. If you will be the replacement.” I heard my daughter say inside when I heard that I was even more hurt because she blamed herself for why her mother was like that. I was so happy when I first saw Anastasia when she was a newborn but my world collapsed when I saw the monitor ring. I also found out that ana is in critical condition. I didn’t know what I was going to do during those times. she survived but the problem is that she will sleep for a long time. Since then I have done nothing but take care of anastasia alone because mom doesn’t want to touch her because she hates me, and she really doesn’t want anastasia or even touch my child she can’t do.

As time passed I left leaning on the side of the door and slowly opened the bedroom door. Ana and anastasia were asleep, Anastasia holding her mother’s hand while sleeping next to her while I watched them. I seemed to be satisfied with my life. My love for Iris then gradually disappeared. I approached them before kissing ana on the forehead and gradually remove my daughter hand that holding her mother hand and lifted her to take her to her room. I glanced at ana before leaving to take anastasia to her room.
