The Rejected Luna: Daddy, Where is Mommy?

67

The second time Calvin ran his tongue, she grabbed the bedsheet tightly, shutting her eyes, and couldn’t control the pleasure that she was feeling at that moment.

At the same time, Calvin inhaled her coffee and walnut scent, the presence of scent that he could trace in Roselet, the scent that had been his favorite all these years. Not just that, feeling the soft skin with his tongue after so many years had awoken his desire that had no longer his priority. He wanted more of her, and all of a sudden, her arousal hit his nose, bringing him to reality.

‘Fuck!!’

He stood up on his feet and left the room, slamming the door hardly.

Calvin hit the vase in his room with his hand the moment he walked inside.

‘What the hell was that!! Control on this one-sided bond, Keanu.’ He talked with his wolf, who was getting affected already.

‘I’m not the only one to be blamed here.’ Keanu resorted. ‘You should have known what mess you were getting into by marking her.’ he added, shutting his human mouth.

‘Thank you for making me realize that I’m screwed.’ Calvin said before calling Ben to know the update on the meeting that he had to leave in the middle for all these reasons.

Ben explained the remaining storyline of the movie in detail before speaking, “I liked the storyline, but Jame Waititi was annoying. He kept complaining about how irresponsible you were after you left, even after Tessa Bale tried to explain him your situation.”

“It’s okay, Ben. I can’t expect other people to understand my situation. Anyways, I will apologize to him personally again.”

“Ahh! About that, you might have to because Tessa suggested the same thing to him.” Ben said, recalling what Tessa Bale told Jame Waititi!! “Anyway, what was that?”

“What?”

“The mother of your daughter in the city? Was this true?” Ben asked because he knew how Calvin became the father of a daughter overnight.

“Yes. And she indeed landed into trouble.” Calvin mumbled, wondering why she always landed in trouble. “Now, she is out of that trouble but to save her, I feel like I ended up in trouble.”

“What happened?”

“You can say that I kind of married her in a werewolf way to save her, and the problem is that we don’t love… leave love, we don’t even like each other, not even a bit. We are just connected to each other because of Rose.”

“She doesn’t like you?” Ben asked in amusement. “Damn, I’m interested in meeting her, man,” he said in amusement. He personally believed that any woman not liking Calvin would be special for sure.”

“Do you think I’m in the mood to have fun now?” Calvin asked, getting irritated.

“Fine. Fine. You both can try to work on your relationship together, you know?” Ben suggested. “And who knows, you both would end up falling for each other?”

“You know that I don’t fall in love with anyone. No matter how much I tried to but I just couldn’t. I used to get bored with women after knowing them.” Calvin responded. “They are so fucking irritating. The moment they open their stupid mouth, they reveal that the upper floor of their mind is empty.”

“Oh, please!! Don’t blame women. You always chose stupid women.” Ben corrected him. “After hearing about your situation, I will really suggest you to give a fair chance to this relationship if you love Rose because it’s not good for kids to see their parents acting like strangers, no matter whether that kid is a child of human or a werewolf. And I’m telling this with my personal experience, my parents remained married for almost two decades, but they both dated someone else behind my back.”

“So, just don’t do that. You can fool Rose now, but someday she will start understanding everything in detail, and she will lose her faith in any relationship.”

“I hope you will bring the mother of your daughter to the Diwali celebration at our office.”

“At the office?”

“Yeah!! Rose comes here every year to celebrate Diwali with Indian Employees. So, why not bring your whole family this year?” Ben questioned casually. “Also, in that way, female staffs will stop hitting on you.” he joked.

After disconnecting the call, Calvin started working again, and Roselet walked into his room, holding a tray in her hand.

“Daddy!! Leave the work and have your lunch first.” She ordered.

“Did your mother have her lunch?” Calvin asked, closing the file and placing it aside.

“No. I went into her room, but she was sleeping, so I didn’t disturb her. Grandpa Nelina asked me to let mommy rest properly.” Roselet replied, placing the tray on the bed, and didn’t leave Calvin’s side until he finished his lunch.Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.

“Do you want to say something?”

“Nothing important. Just… I love you, daddy, and you’re the best.” Roselet said, giving him a flying kiss. Calvin caught it and placed it on his chest.

“I love you too, princess. And you make me the best.” Calvin responded. “Come here, take your afternoon nap beside me.” He said, pointing toward his bed. Roselet quickly agreed, but before that, she grabbed the tray and went into the kitchen to give it to Nelina.

“Thank you, daddy,” Roselet said for the fourth time. She wasn’t telling the exact reason for saying so, but Calvin knew his daughter was extremely happy today with the fact that her daddy marked her mommy.

“And this ‘thank you’ is for?”

“For loving me so much,” Roselet replied with a grin.

“Okay, enough now. Sleep, or you won’t wake up after two hours, and then you won’t sleep easily at night.”
