‘He is rude and shameless, but he is not bad.’ Ethlyn thought, walking toward the room that Calvin had allotted her. ‘Maybe he has his own reasons to find the truth, but I’m happy with the thought that he is doing something that no one did for me in all these years.’

She smiled at that thought, and immediately she recalled his words. ‘You don’t have to pass a smile.’ but this time, she didn’t stop smiling.

Next Morning!!

“Wake up, love,” Calvin said, tickling Roselet. She giggled and tried to her face with the pillow, but Calvin snatched all her pillows and then turned off the AC.

“Urrgghh,” She groaned, feeling hot.

“Come on, babe!! Wake up.”

“Five minutes more, daddddddyyyy.”

“You’re saying the same from the last twenty minutes. Wake up, or I will throw you in the pool.” Calvin threatened, on which Roselet shook her bum, signaling NO.

“I was thinking of spending some time with you as I couldn’t last night. But never mind if you don’t want to spend time with me.” Calvin faked his sadness, and hearing him, Roselet quickly sat on the bed.

“That’s wrong. I’m ready to spend time with you anytime.” Roselet replied and quickly sat in Calvin’s lap. “I love you, daddy.”

“I love you too, my love.” Calvin kissed her forehead. “Did you have your dinner properly last night? What did you eat? How was your day yesterday? Anything new happened in school?” Calvin asked her the question which he used to ask at night. Even Roselet used to do the same.

“Calvin, I’m learning archery in school. I can’t wait to use the real one so that I can also aim at our enemies to kill them.” She said in excitement. Calvin heard her patiently without telling her that things weren’t that easy in the real world. Aiming at moving objects is too difficult than non-moving.

She then told him how her Uncle Colton received her after school and brought a lot of chocolates for her. She then told him everything that she did with Ethlyn in the noon.

“Calvin, Do you know that mommy was trying to know you in a better way last evening by asking me a lot of questions about you?”

“Really?”

“Yes!!” Roselet nodded her head. “I think you should do the same to know her better. I’m sure that Grandpa Brandon would have told you both to get married, wouldn’t he?”

“How do you come to know about that?” Calvin questioned, looking at her suspiciously. When his parents arrived here, she had already reached school. And his parents barely met her for a while before leaving because his mother had to meet Liara as soon as possible. “Mom & dad talked with you in front of me while leaving the pack, and I didn’t remember them telling anything to you.”

Roselet started looking around on which he made her look at him. “Tell me, Rose. It was you who asked him to say so, weren’t you?”

“Yes, daddy.” She whispered with a pout. “I dialed Grandma Sophia yesterday to know how people fall in love from your phone, and that was when I came to know that they are coming here, and that was when I convinced Grandpa Brandon to…” She didn’t complete her sentence, just hid her face below his chest.

“But I didn’t see her number in the calling history,” Calvin asked in confusion.

“I deleted it because they said that ‘it’s a surprise’ for you. Sorry, dadddyyyy.” She replied, to which Calvin didn’t scold her and spoke after a minute.

“Force Marriage doesn’t have long life, love. Give your parents some time, okay?”

“I’m just scared that what if you will find your fated mate and…. won’t choose mommy,” Roselet muttered, thinking about the third person between her parents. “I sound selfish? Don’t I?”

“You won’t.” Calvin shook his head. “Even Colton and I wanted our parents together and a normal family like other pups. So, you’re no different. But give us time, don’t rush things.”

“I promise. I will wait for you both to fall in love.” Roselet agreed.

“By the way, what was your mommy asking about me yesterday?”

“Actually, she was asking that…” The moment Roselet finished, she observed Keanu’s eyes. “Keanu? Why are you here at this moment?” She asked the wolf of her daddy.

“Nothing. You and freshen up. I will send Nelina to your room.” He said calmly in front of the princess who had the power to tame him.

“Okay, daddy Keanu.” She said and kissed him before jumping from the bed. The moment she went into the washroom, Keanu jumped from the bed as well to find her as soon as possible but not before closing the door.

‘How dare she?’ Calvin thought by sitting in the backseat of his mind.

“Ethlyn,” Keanu roared loudly. Ethlyn came running from the kitchen after hearing the same dangerous sinister growl on her lips. It wasn’t that she had heard this growl for the first time, but she knew that she was wrong this time, so she shivered, seeing the anger in his eyes.

Her wolf screamed in fear, but her feet were glued to the floor, stopping her from moving even an inch. She wasn’t sure, but she almost had guessed what would have made him this angry.

“Ethlyn!! Run!!” Nelina yelled, sensing the Alpha’s anger. She had seen the anger of both brothers; she knew that they wouldn’t calm down until they ended up killing their prey.
